Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang masih rendah dan tingginya sikap individual siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 2 Bayang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian random terhadap subjek. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 2 Bayang yang terdiri dari lima kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak, dimana kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes akhir yang berbentuk esai dengan reliabilitas 0,76. Berdasarkan tes akhir yang diperoleh, kedua kelas sampel berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Statistik uji yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis penelitian adalah uji t satu pihak dengan thitung = 1,79 dan ttabel = 1,67 karena thitung  > ttabel maka hipotesis diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI  lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 2 Bayang.

Abstract

Regional autonomy is the right, authority, and duties of the autonomous regions to organize and manage their own affairs and interests of local communities in accordance with the legislation. The purpose of regional autonomy under Law no. 5 1975 is to allow the relevant area to control and manage their own households to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government administration in the context of service to the community and implementation. Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of regional government, especially in the implementation of development and service to the community and to improve pembinanan political stability and national unity.

Abstract

Based on the preliminary research conducted by the researcher, several things were found that became obstacles in the learning process, especially the media/platform used during virtual learning at Politeknik Pelayaran Sumatera Barat. Therefore, the researcher developed a learning management model product based on a web application. It is hoped that it can increase motivation and help the difficulties of cadets who have below average competence to catch up with their friends who have better competence than them. In addition, through this learning management model, it is expected to create an innovative learning management model that is integrated with technology. The ship electrical system learning model was developed from a factual model and adapted to the needs analysis of cadets and lecturers during online learning, then developed to increase cadets' motivation to learn while online. The feasibility level of this application web-based learning model can be seen from the results of the questionnaire given to users, namely lecturers and cadets which show that 88.5% of the ship's electrical system learning management model is feasible to be implemented at Politeknik Pelayaran Sumatera Barat. Learning activities in the ship's electrical system course, this is evidenced by the results of the questionnaire, the cadets’ learning motivation increased by 89%

Abstract

This study aims to address learning problems in SMA 1 Lubuk Basung, in particular to improve the learning outcomes of students in Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) in the class XII.IPA.2 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung through the use of Problem Solving Approach. The results showed the use of Problem Solving Approach successfully improve student learning outcomes, which in the first cycle in which the average value obtained new students reached 7.1 with classical completeness 71% and in the second cycle increased reach an average value of 8.31 with classical completeness of 93%. It can be concluded that the use of Problem Solving Approach to learning Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) succeeded in improving student learning outcomes in the class XII.IPA.2 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung

Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi dari kenyataan di Sekolah Dasar bahwa pembelajaran sering didominasi oleh guru sebagai sumber informasi Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti ditemukan hasil belajar siswa rendah. Disini peneliti menggunakan  metode Mind Mapping untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis parafrase. Tujuan penelitian  ini untuk peningkatan keterampilan menulis parafrase dengan menggunakan metode mind mapping pada siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 16 Kampung Parit Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kab. Agam.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (classroom action research). Penelitian ini menggunakan empat tahap tindakan, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Sumber data adalah proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan metode mind mapping dikelas VI SD Negeri 16 Kampung Parit Kecamatan Ampek Nagari. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI yang berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, pencatatan lapangan, dan teknik tes.Hasil belajar penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata nilai siklus I adalah 50, pada siklus II  hasil belajar siswa yaitu 84,75. Setelah dilakukan penelitian terungkap bahwa penggunaan metode mind mapping dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis parafrase pada siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 16 Kampung Parit Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kab. Agam.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPhytoplankton is water plant which floats freely and float away in water andable to photosynthesis. Phytoplankton has important role since it become foodfor animals are life in that water, such as fish and insect. Morever, phytoplanktonis able to influence the quality of water. There are some houses, livestock marketand farmland. Water of Batang Palangki river is used to fulfill daily needs, meansof gold mining, sand, bathing place for livestock and fish catching. A researchhas been done in Batang Palangki river. Its purpose is to know the phytoplanktoncomposition in Batang Palangki river. This research was conducted by usingdescriptive survey method which chose four research stations that is station Isettlement area, station II farm, station III gold mining area and station IV postarea of gold mining. Sample was selected in 3 spots for each station, namely left,right and center of river. Parameter which was measured was abundance, relativedensity, frequency and relative frequency, and quality parameter of water whichwas measured was temperature, pH, the flow of speed, DO, and CO2. From theresult of this research, it was found that the phyotoplankton composition was 4classes, 4 ordo, 9 families and 13 genus. Total abundance was 24,68 individu/l,abundance is highest in station II was 8,34 individu/l, and then station I was 7,98individu/l, station IV was 4,93 individu/l and station III was 3,43 individu/l. Classthat highest abundance was Bacillariophyceae, was 16,55 individu/l and minimallow was Euglenophyceae, was 0,46 individu/l. Genus that highest abundance wasNavicula, was 4,78 individu/l and minimal low was Phacus was 0,46 individu/l.Key word: water pollution, composition, phytoplankton

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa SD kelas V pada materi pokok pecahan (pecahan senilai) menggunakan media kartu domino. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), menggunakan media kartu domino bilangan di kelas V SDN 013 Tampan Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru dengan jumlah siswa 40 orang. Tindakan ini dilakukan bulan Maret 2017. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada aktivitas guru dan siswa selama proses pembelajaran serta rata-rata nilai siswa pada UH I siklus I adalah 64 sehingga UH I Siklus I mengalami peningkatan gain yaitu 0,35 dengan kategori sedang. Selanjutnya pada UH II Siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat kembali menjadi 79,63 dengan peningkatan gain tetap dengan kategori sedang dengan nilai 0,43 dan secara klasikal siswa telah tuntas dengan persentase 87,5%. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media kartu domino bilangan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD.

Abstract

An effort of Conserving and developing the natural science can be done by introducing thetourist object to the citizen as well as to the people from other countries. Some tourist objectscan be found in Harau district of Lima Puluh Kota Regency such as : Kapalo Banda, SarasahTango, Lembah Harau, Kelok Sambilan, Gunung Sanggul and Sarasah Bunta. This researchwas a descriptive research which is used to analyze and report the way things are and with areal fact found in the frield. The purpose of this research was to find out and describe theNatural potential, the distribution and the power of attraction of the tourist object in Haraudistrict of Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The data was analyzed by analyzing the primary andsecondary data. The primary data was taken through the observation while the secondary datawas gained from tourism books and the reports of the department which dealing with thetourism. Both data were classified based on the classification that already been set up before.Finally, the data was analyzed by grouping them info the distribution of tourist object basedon the geographical condition and the Natural potential of tourist object in Harau district ofLima Puluh Kota Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe student errors in solving flat-shaped questions. The research subjects were students of the Mathematics Education study program, STKIP PGRI, West Sumatra. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive that describes the types of errors and the level of student response in solving geometry problems on flat-shaped material. The results showed the types of errors including conceptual errors, data errors, language interpretation errors, technical errors and conclusions drawing errors

Abstract

Learning media is a very important factor in the learning process. In the framework of the provision of instructional media for teaching high school chemistry Electrochemistry Kit developed for the implementation of experiments in the classroom. Therefore, this study aimed to develop chemistry learning media in the form of Electrochemistry Kit SMA valid, practical and effective. This type of research is the development of research using patterns of development Gustafson & Branch. This development model to apply the principles of systems approach that consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, evaluation, and implementation. In this study, learning media created just developed to the stage of development. Phase analysis, which analyzes the curriculum and student analysis. At the design stage to design instructional media. Whereas at this stage of development, the design of learning tools that have been designed and then validated by 2 validator field of chemistry and the first person in the field of educational evaluation validator. Media that has been revised based on suggestions and corrections validator then tested on a limited basis to the 31 students of class XI IPA1 SMAN 1 Gunung Talang in Solok regency of West Sumatera. The trial aims to look at the practicalities of learning tools that have been developed, whereas the observed effectiveness is student learning outcomes. Analysis of the data used is qualitative descriptive statistics to validate learning media by the validator, as well as the practicalities of learning media by teachers and students. Based on an assessment of the validator, Electrochemistry Kit categorized as invalid. While the practicalities value is based on observations of teacher and student responses categorized as practical. The effectiveness of cognitive learning outcomes of students in both categories with classical completeness above 90%. The conclusion from this study is the high school class XII Electrochemistry Kit developed is valid, practical, and effective on competency standards applying the concept of oxidation-reduction reactions and electrochemistry in technology and everyday life. Keywords: KIT, Validity, practicalities, Effectiveness. AbstrakMedia pembelajaran merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam rangka penyediaan media pembelajaran untuk pembelajaran kimia SMA dikembangkan Kit Elektrokimia untuk pelaksanaan percobaan di dalam kelas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran kimia berupa Kit Elektrokimia SMA yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan pola pengembangan Gustafson & Branch. Model pengembangan ini menerapkan prinsip-prinsip pendekatan sistem yang terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, evaluasi, dan implementasi . Pada penelitian ini, media pembelajaran yang dibuat hanya dikembangkan sampai tahap pengembangan. Tahap analisis, yaitu menganalisis kurikulum dan analisis siswa. Pada tahap perancangan dilakukan perancangan media pembelajaran. Sedangkan pada tahap pengembangan, rancangan perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dirancang kemudian divalidasi oleh 2 orang validator dibidang ilmu kimia dan 1 orang validator dibidang evaluasi pendidikan. Media pembelajaran yang telah direvisi berdasarkan saran dan koreksi validator kemudian diujicobakan secara terbatas pada 31 orang siswa kelas XI IPA1 SMAN 1 Gunung Talang Kabupaten Solok Sumatera Barat. Uji coba bertujuan untuk melihat praktikalitas perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan, sedangkan efektivitas yang diamati adalah hasil belajar siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif kualitatif untuk memvalidasi media pembelajaran oleh validator, serta praktikalitas media pembelajaran oleh guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan penilaian dari validator, Kit Elektrokimia dikategorikan valid. Sementara nilai praktikalitas berdasarkan pengamatan respon guru dan siswa dikategorikan praktis. Efektivitas dari hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa dalam kategori baik dengan ketuntasan klasikal di atas 90 %. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Kit Elektrokimia kelas XII SMA yang dikembangkan sudah valid, praktis, dan efektif pada standar kompetensi menerapkan konsep reaksi oksidasi-reduksi dan elektrokimia dalam teknologi dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata kunci: KIT, Validitas, Praktikalitas,efektivitas
