Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan pada pelaksanaan perkuliahan bahasa inggris matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis mahasiswa. Perangkat pembelajaran disusun sesuai dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation disertai PQ4R. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dibuat adalah bahan bacaan dan SAP perkuliahan. Bahan bacaan yang dipersiapkan dibatasi hanya pada materi Kalukulus, Geometri, dan Statistika. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran adalah: 1) Merancang bahan bacaan dan SAP 2) Melakukan evaluasi diri dan merevisi berdasarkan hasil evaluasi diri; 3) melakukan validasi soal tes ; 4) Melakukan revisi sesuai dengan saran dari validator. Berdasarkan hasil validasi SAP dan Bahan bacaan dapat dikategorikan valid dengan sedikit revisi sehingga dapat dipergunakan.

The ability to think creatively in learning mathematics is an ability that stimulates students to find various solutions or ideas for solving mathematical problems. This study will examine the literature using the Systematic Literature Review regarding how to implement the Creative Problem-Solving learning model on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities when viewed from the Adversity Quotient. The literature criteria used in this study are journal articles indexed by Sinta or Google Scholar using Publish or Perish with the year of publication 2014 - 2023. The purpose of this research is to describe various kinds of literature that are relevant to the implementation of the Creative Problem-Solving learning model on thinking skills. students' mathematical creativity when viewed from the Adversity Quotient. By doing this research, it can provide information related to the implementation of the Creative Problem-Solving learning model on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities when viewed from the Adversity Quotient.

The observations showed that there were five problems faced by the students in reading comprehension class : (1) students were lazy to read English texts; (2) students fount difficulty to understand the contents of reading text because the have limited vocabulary; (3) students did not have enough time because they have busy to consult the dictionary for any difficult words they found on the reading text; (4) the students were extremely passive during the class; and (5) the teaching technique used by the teacher was not interesting to the students.To solve the problems, a classroom action research of applying the summarizing strategy was conducted. The results showed that the application of the summarizing strategy to reading comprehension classes successfully improve students’ performance on reading comprehension tests. This success was confirmed by increasing average students score during cycle 1 to cycle 2. The average score during cycle 1 was 64.13, the average score during cycle 2 was 69.88, and that during cycle 3 was 72.38. Furthermore, students’ perceptions of the application of summarizing strategy to reading classes were also improving. These were supported by average percentages of positive perception of 40.5 in cycle 1, 73.9 in cycle 2, 84.6 in cycle 3.Thus, it was concluded that the summarizing strategy id effective to improve students’ reading comprehension. In addition, the strategy also enhances students’ perceptions of the application of the strategy to reading classes.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning disertai Teknik Kepala Bernomor lebih baik daripada hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian random terhadap subjek. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 7 Padang yang terdiri dari 8 kelas pada Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak, yang terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen adalah kelas VIII1dan sebagai kelas kontrol adalah kelas VIII2. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes akhir. Bentuk tes yang digunakan adalah bentuk essay dengan reliabilitas tes 0,92 dan Berarti soal tes dinyatakan reliabel karena . Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t satu pihak. Berdasarkan analisis data tes akhir dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 7 Padang yang menerapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning disertai teknik kepala bernomor sama dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional.

This study aims to evaluate land suitability of tomato plants and createmaps of land suitability of tomato plants in the Valley of the Nagari Aia ColdGumanti Solok District. Soil at the sites is soil that develops Andisol of volcanicrocks. The unit of analysis in this study is the suitability of tomato crop land inNagari Aia Cold Valley Gumanti Solok District. Corresponding map of thelocation of the study Nagari cold Aia Valley Gumanti Solok District 1: 50,000scale in order to get the five points that the samples Jorong Data, Jorong Koto,Jorong Aia Sonsang (dryland) and Jorong Aia Sonsang and Jorong Data (wetland/ paddy). The data analysis conducted in the field and in the laboratory by meansof "matching" between the quality or characteristics of the land on condition ofgrowing tomato plants. To calculate the indices of climate and land use methodsStorie and Square Root. Land suitability assessment in the five study sitesrepresenting the Valley of the Nagari Aia Cold Gumanti Solok district to JorongData and Jorong Koto land suitability classes N1, there is a severe limiting factorin the availability of water is rainfall and potential of mechanization the slopes aswell as nutrient retention is pH, but This can be enhanced S3 (marginally suitable)for tomato plants is by liming and terracing, guludan / beds and mulching. In thearea of fitness classes land Jorong Aia Sonsang the N2, the limiting factor on theslopes there are very heavy so it can not be repaired. Jorong Aia Sonsang andJorong Data, (wetland / paddy) land suitability class S3m classified, there aresevere limiting factor in the availability of water is rainfall, but this can beupgraded to S2 (moderately suitable) for tomato plants, by taking into account thecondition of the lowest rainfall based on agricultural climate zones.

Writing arguments as one type of writing that aims to express ideas or opinions based on perceived experiences and observations. In addition, lifting things closer to the students makes students easy in expressing their ideas because the emotional role is very tight there. The purpose of this study is to prove the Influence of Emotional Intelligence Against the ability of writing arguments for students of SMP 1 Tanjungbalai. The population of this study were students of SMP 1 Tanjungbalai with a sample of 64 grade VII students from the school. The data analysis used linear regression and correlation test to find out the functional relationship and the closeness between the two variables. The results of this study showed that emotional intelligence significantly influence the ability of writing arguments. Meanwhile, the relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability of writing arguments is very high with correlation coefficient 0.945

This aim of the research is to analyze the different stock investment risk before and after make acquisition process. The research take 10 company for samples and have 60 days before and 60 days after acquisitions process. The research using the model of beta coefficient (β) and t-test paired sample test. The result of the research showed have the different stock investment risk before and after acquisition process with stock investment risk before acquisitions more than after acquisitions process.

E-learning refers to electronic learning using technology devices as a learning media to motivate and sharpen students’ writing skill. The purpose of the research is to obtain empirical data about whether or not the effects of using e-learning model on students’ writing of descriptive texts. The research was conducted at SMK An-Nuqthah Tangerang of class X in the second semester of 2015-2016 academic year. Research method was experiment by using e-learning model in the first class and without e-learning (conventional model) in the second class with 25 participants of each class. The data were taken from students’ descriptive texts. The results showed that the highest score in the experimental class was 94 while the lowest one was 66. In addition, the highest score in the control class was 86 whereas the lowest one was 60. It was found that the value of tobtained was higher than the value of ttable (3.08 > 2.01) with df = 48 and a = 0.05. Since H1 was accepted, it proved that there was a significant difference of using e-learning model on students’ writing of descriptive texts

The purpose of this research is to disclose the influence of reward andwork motivation toward the lecturers’ performance in STKIP PGRI of WestSumatera. There were three hypotheses tested. Firstly, reward influenced thelecturers’ performance. Secondly, work motivation influenced the lecturers’performance. Thirdly, reward and work motivation collectively influenced thelecturers’ performance. The population of this research is 171 lecturers in STKIPPGRI of West Sumatera. Sample is taken by Stratified Proportional RandomSampling technique and they are 63 lecturers. Instrument used for data collectingis a questionnaire of Likert Scale model. The results of the research indicated that(1) reward influences 10% to the lecturers’ performance, (2) work motivationinfluences 12,9% to the lecturers’ performance, and (3) collectively, reward andwork motivation influence 19,1% to the lecturers’ performance. From theseresearch findings, it can be concluded that reward and work motivation are twoimportant factors for increasing the lecturers’ performance.
