Abstract

In today's fast-paced and demanding life, time is very important. The need for cleaning services is becoming increasingly apparent. Balancing work, family and personal commitments often leaves limited time and energy for cleaning our environment. Apart from that, there are also freelance cleaning service workers who need a way to find customers. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), freelance workers in Indonesia have reached 34 million people and some of them are freelance workers for cleaning. The aim of this research is to develop a web-based application that can help users find cleaning services and freelancers find customers. The web-based application development used in this research is the waterfall method with the steps: Requirements analysis, Planning, Design, Construct, Deployment and Maintenance. The programming languages used are: PhP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The results of this research have successfully developed a web-based application that can help users find cleaning services and freelancers to find customers. From the results of the evaluation of 50 respondents, 96% of them were satisfied.

Abstract

Sign language is a form of visual communication used by individuals who are deaf or speech-impaired. However, many people in the general public still lack understanding of sign language, which hinders communication between people with disabilities and their surroundings. This research aims to develop a real-time alphabet translator system for Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO), implemented as an Android application. The system utilizes a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model based on the MobileNetV2 architecture, which is trained to recognize 26 alphabet letters from hand gesture images sized 128x128 pixels in RGB format. The dataset was collected and processed through augmentation and divided into training, validation, testing, and evaluation sets. The model was trained using transfer learning and fine-tuning methods and then converted into TensorFlow Lite (.tflite) format for deployment on Android devices. Evaluation results show that the model achieved an average accuracy of 93% on the evaluation dataset. Testing the Android application also demonstrated good real-time performance in recognizing hand gestures. This application is expected to help bridge communication between people with disabilities and the general public through practical and accessible technology.

Abstract

Farming on large tracts of land in Indonesia is very difficult. This is because land is already being used for residential areas, which are increasing annually, and industrial development is increasing. Currently, the younger generation in Indonesia is not interested in agriculture, considering that agricultural yields are very low and do not guarantee a future. The existence of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and the assistance of IoT, a network of connected objects within AI, synergizes with each other, resulting in technological discoveries, especially in the agricultural sector, that can help reduce labor and agricultural failure due to natural conditions. This precision farming technology can make a strategic contribution to achieving SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) in the smallholder agricultural sector. This can be summarized in three main pillars: Productivity, Resilience, and Economic Inclusion. Precision farming technology can be formulated as a transformation of human profitability because it goes beyond achieving production figures to improving living standards.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a home security system based on facial recognition that is capable of working in real-time and integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT), in order to overcome the limitations of conventional security systems that are not yet able to detect and respond to potential threats automatically and still rely on manual supervision. The system was developed using an ESP32-CAM module with a Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) algorithm for the facial identification process, and is integrated with a buzzer and the Telegram application as a two-layer warning system. The method used is prototyping with an iterative approach for two months through direct testing in a residential environment. The test results show that the system is able to recognize faces with 95.42% accuracy, provides a fast response, and works stably in various lighting conditions. The conclusion of this research shows that the system is effective, economical, and can be implemented without major changes to the building structure. This system also shows potential for further development on a more complex smart home scale.

Abstract

The development of information technology has transformed people's behavior in accessing online entertainment services. One of the widely used innovations is Tix.id, a cinema ticket booking application developed by PT Nusantara Elang Sejahtera, part of the Emtek Group, in 2018 in collaboration with Bioskop XXI. This study aims to analyze the level of user acceptance of Tix.id using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which includes the variables Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Perceived Usefulness (PU), and Attitude Toward Using (ATU). The analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with AMOS software based on questionnaire data from active users in Jakarta. The results indicate that all relationships among variables are positive and significant, with Chi-square = 38.06; df = 41; p = 0.60213; RMSEA = 0.000, indicating that the model demonstrates a good fit. These findings suggest that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have a strong influence on users’ attitudes toward using the Tix.id application.

Abstract

Aplikasi deteksi warna berbasis Android ini dirancang untuk membantu penyandang tunanetra dan penderita buta warna dalam mengenali warna secara lebih mudah, cepat, dan akurat. Aplikasi memanfaatkan kamera perangkat untuk menangkap citra objek, kemudian mengolahnya menggunakan algoritma K-Means Clustering guna menentukan warna dominan. Hasil proses deteksi ditampilkan dalam bentuk nama warna, nilai RGB, tingkat keyakinan (confidence), serta deskripsi warna yang informatif sehingga dapat dipahami oleh pengguna. Selain fitur deteksi warna, aplikasi ini juga dilengkapi dengan kuis interaktif yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemungkinan jenis buta warna yang dialami pengguna berdasarkan pola jawaban yang diberikan. Seluruh data pengguna, riwayat hasil deteksi warna, serta hasil kuis disimpan secara otomatis menggunakan Firebase Firestore sebagai basis data berbasis cloud. Metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Waterfall, yang meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Pengujian aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan metode black-box testing untuk memastikan setiap fungsi berjalan sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu bekerja dengan baik, memberikan informasi warna secara real-time, serta memiliki tingkat akurasi yang memadai dalam membantu pengguna mengenali warna.

Abstract

The utilization of cloud computing services has significantly increased to support organizational information technology infrastructure. However, the complexity of cloud service billing models often creates challenges in cost monitoring and resource usage transparency. This research aims to design and implement a billing dashboard for cloud service usage to improve cost visibility, billing calculation accuracy, and role-based access management. The software development method used is Waterfall with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. System testing was conducted using White Box Testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT). The results indicate that the developed system is capable of presenting billing information transparently and accurately while supporting effective cloud cost management decision-making.
