Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Arsitektur dan Perencanaan (JIMAP) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of Architecture and Planning, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The journal presents design, research and development in the field of architecture and planning. Authors must register to this journal before submitting their work and they must follow the Author Guidelines of the journal. Submissions that do not adhere to the guidelines provided will be REJECTED. Please submit your article through the online submission of this journal. <![CDATA[Kota Banda Aceh merupakan salah satu kota di Indonesia yang memiliki kecenderungan pembangunan yang pesat, berorientasi merubah ruang terbuka hijau menjadi daerah terbangun seiring dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk dan peningkatan pencemaran. Taman kota sebagai salah satu jenis ruang terbuka hijau yang memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan perkotaan. Salah satu aspek penting yang diperlukan di dalam suatu taman kota adalah fungsi ekologis. Untuk mengukur peran ekologis pada sebuah taman kota, perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap aspek tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi tingkat keberhasilan fungsi ekologis yang optimal pada ruang terbuka hijau perkotaan dengan melakukan analisis pada karakteristik tanaman dan mengidentifikasi kerapatan vegetasi. Penelitian ini berlokasi pada Taman Putroe Phang di Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Evaluasi fungsi ekologis yang dilakukan adalah dengan membandingkan kondisi yang ada dengan kriteria standar untuk fungsi ekologis secara optimal. Kondisi ekologis yang baik dan optimal berpengaruh terhadap kondisi lingkungan untuk menjadi lebih baik kedepannya.]]>

Each Hotel has a particular theme to attract migrants. <![CDATA[Abstrak Banyaknya peminat bola basket di Banda Aceh menjadi faktor utama Banda Aceh membutuhkan lapangan bola basket. Beberapa klub atau komunitas basket terus tumbuh dan berkembang. Namun, mereka tidak memiliki fasilitas yang memadai dan memenuhi standar nasional untuk melanjutkan hobi mereka. Oleh karena itu, desain lapangan bola basket di Banda Aceh menjadi salah satu kebutuhan utama masyarakat, klub atau masyarakat biasa yang menyukai olahraga tersebut. Perancangan lapangan basket dapat memenuhi kebutuhan klub dan masyarakat, sarana dan prasarana, dan tempat latihan. Merancang metode tematik lapangan basket di Banda Aceh melalui arsitektur metafora. <![CDATA[AbstrakKota Banda Aceh terletak di Wilayah Indonesia Bagian Barat yang merupakan salah satu Destinasi Wisata Islami di Dunia. Kota ini bertetanggaan langsung dengan beberapa negara seperti Malaysia, Thailand, India dan Singapura. Potensi tersebut berpeluang besar dijadikan sebagai potensi bisnis dan pariwisata. Berdasarkan data statistik perkembangan pariwisata yang dikeluarkan Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Banda Aceh, jumlah tamu nusantara dan mancanegara yang datang ke kota ini terus mengalami peningkatan tiap tahunnya, peningkatan tersebut berpengaruh kepada peningkatan jumlah pengguna hotel berbintang. Namun hotel berbintang yang tersedia saat ini hanya 17 hotel, diantaranya 1 hotel bintang empat, 3 hotel bintang tiga, 2 hotel bintang dua, 11 hotel bintang satu dan belum tersedianya hotel bintang lima. Sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah hotel bintang lima yang terletak di kawasan perkotaan untuk mempermudah pengguna mengakses ke daerah pusat bisnis maupun pariwisata. Perancangan City Hotel ini diharapkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dengan fasilitas hotel bintang lima yang menggunakan pendekatan konsep Arsitektur Islam agar sesuai dengan citra Kota Banda Aceh. In this pandemic era, many people spend their time at home, so that many people tend to get bored when they are at home, because of that the need for entertainment which can be on location even at home, one of which is watching movies. For this reason, it is necessary to build a film school where the development of film is increasingly developing from the time and entertainment time during the pandemic in the form of films and graduates from film schools can create their own jobs through the abilities obtained from film schools.]]>

<![CDATA[Lhokseumawe is a municipality classified into a high density of activity after Banda Aceh city. Administratively, it is noted that more than 60% of the area is used as a residential area and will continue to expand as population grows. Basically, the city of Lhokseumawe was originally a part of North Aceh district, which became the central government of North Aceh until obtained autonomy to hold its own government since 2001. Indirectly it has made the intensity of density has been solid since it was still the center of Aceh Utara district government , which is the way of life of Indonesian people in general who choose to live side by side with the busyness of a central government for the ease of reaching its public space. One public space that will receive many visits is the public library. The need for information, theory, and also the source of alloying activities. Its presence still in the government of North Aceh is located in the area of Mon Geudong, Banda Sakti, Lhokseumawe. Even though it is still located within the scope of the municipality, its reach far from the center of community activity causes the interest of citizen visiting to be less which resulted in making the library building as suspended animation. Although direct sources through gadgets are able to provide solutions, many things still have to do with visiting public libraries directly.]]>

<![CDATA[Traditional markets are often considered to be one of the places giving an impression or picture that is not good for a city's aesthetics. This is also the case with the new Lambaro Central Market located in Aceh Besar. Weak market management and structuring, insufficient facilities and infrastructure, growing numbers of traders are causing market overcrowding and lack of comfort and security. The emergence of traffic jams around the Lambaro Central Market is another influence. Although the traditional market still has issues, the community's interest in holding shopping on the market still exists, such as in the towns of Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. The price of inexpensive and affordable goods is one of the key factors that still make consumers prefer conventional markets as their main shopping destination for everyday needs. Many traders in this market from inside and outside Aceh rely on the results of their wares. The presence of the Central Traditional Market of Lambaro still has the potential to continue to grow in a better direction to boost the economy of the city and enable the population to meet their daily needs. Redesigning the Lambaro Central Traditional Market in Aceh Besar is one solution to this issue. The redesign is accomplished by enhancing the standard of the market, increasing comfort and safety, introducing certain types of needs, while still retaining the object's characteristic parts. The theme chosen is Modern Architecture, which is expected to solve object problems and change the image of traditional markets for the better, helping to improve the economy of Aceh's city and citizens, particularly Aceh Besar. ]]>

<![CDATA[Pembangunan dalam bidang kesehatan menjadi salah satu indikator keberhasilan daerah dalam melakukan pembangunan. Pembangunan rumah sakit dengan bentuk pelayanan yang lebih spesifik merupakan bentuk kepedulian pemerintah terhadap kesehatan masyarakat. Berdasarkan data yang berkembang di Aceh, jumlah masyarakat yang mengalami kecacatan atau disfungsi anggota tubuh semakin meningkat. Kondisi ini tidak sebanding dengan pelayanan yang ada di rumah sakit umum sehingga dibutuhkan rumah sakit spesifik dibidang rehabilitasi medik. Rumah sakit khusus rehabilitasi medik juga masih sangat jarang di Indonesia terutama di daerah Aceh. Perancangan rumah sakit ini merupakan perancangan rumah sakit kelas B dengan pendekatan tema healing architecture, sehingga diharapkan dapat membantu memecahkan permasalahan kesehatan yang ada di Aceh. Perancangan rumah sakit ini berlandaskan pada sebuah konsep healing architecture dimana proses penyembuhan pasien didapatkan dari bangunan yang digunakan oleh pasien selain dari pihak medis. Penerapan tema rancangan pada bangunan diaplikasikan pada inner garden dan koridor dengan penambahan unsur alam, penglihatan, penciuman/aroma, pendengaran dan psikologis. Perancangan ini diharapkan dapat menghadirkan kenyamanan bagi pasien dengan mengoptimalkan unsur-unsur yang harus dipenuhi dan membantu penyembuhan pasien selama berada di rumah sakit rehabilitasi medik ini.]]>

<![CDATA[Working under continuous work pressure and competition makes people today very prone to stress. Thereore, keeping oneself in very good health condition and avoiding stress are amongst lifestyle of people today, especially those living in the urban area. In eliminating fatigue and re-fit of course this urban community will find entertainment places that can support the health of the body and make the mind relaxed again. This will be a consideration in designing a fitness center and spa using a natural concept approach. The applied natural concept will bring nature inside a building in which gives relaxing atmosphere. Materials that will also have to be considered well in order to convey the concept of nature are wood, bamboo, natural stone, as well as other natural materials. The Spa and Fitness Center is located in the city center of Banda Aceh, so users do not have to travel all the way to the mountains or countryside to seek a natural setting as this natural atmosphere will be present in the middle of the city in the gym and spa building that will be designed.]]>
