Abstract

The Independent Campus Internship Program is an initiative from the Ministry of Education and Culture which aims to bridge the gap between theory learned on campus and practice in the world of work. The Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM) FSRD internship/work practice scheme held by the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Surakarta, is implemented with the aim of providing opportunities for students to be able to apply the knowledge they have learned during the lecture process in the real world of work. The internship program is implemented for 4 (four) months, 15 (fifteen) weeks, starting from March 13 2024 to June 28 2024. The student internship activity schedule starts at 09.00 - 16.00 WIB, from Monday to Friday. Through the guidance of mentors from CV. Equipment Indonesia Perkasa, students gain new skills and industry insight relevant to their field of study. The results of this program are expected to show increased student competency and work readiness, as well as gaining a lot of new knowledge during the process of working on the project. Abstract

The bag is a tool to make it easier for someone to carry and store items. Traditional Nusantara Bags are one of the things that should be maintained. The Nusantara Bag Festival is an effort to succeed this matter. This study aims to find out how the manifestation of culture and aesthetics of traditional Indonesian bags in the Nusantara Bag Festival. This study uses a qualitative method, through directly observation of this festival, then conducts a descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the existence of the Nusantara Bag Festival can help to promote and introduce the archipelago bags to the public, as well as help artists, artisans, and business groups engaged in the manufacture of bags..

Abstract

Program pengabdian mahasiswa ISI Surakarta melalui MBKM Mandiri FSRD bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup kelompok rentan, termasuk anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum (ABH). Kolaborasi antara mahasiswa dan Sahabat Kapas di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) memberikan bantuan psikososial serta memanfaatkan seni sebagai media ekspresi diri dan penyembuhan emosional. Anak-anak ABH sering mengalami stigma, isolasi, dan trauma yang mendalam, sehingga pelatihan seni seperti menulis cerpen, puisi, kolase, dan lukis menjadi sangat penting. Anak ABH seringkali mengalami stigma, isolasi, dan trauma yang mendalam, sehingga pelatihan seni seperti menulis cerpen, puisi, kolase, dan lukis menjadi sangat penting. Seni tidak hanya berperan sebagai terapi untuk mengatasi trauma, namun juga memperkuat rasa percaya diri, kemampuan literasi, komunikasi, sosial dan kerjasama. Anak-anak mampu mengekspresikan perasaan dan pengalamannya secara kreatif melalui seni, yang mendukung reintegrasi dan reintegrasi mereka ke dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Gambaran Kesunyian: Liminalitas Dalam Foto Homes at Night” bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan membaca nilai estetika yang terkandung pada kelima karya foto yang Todd Hido ciptakan yaitu Homes at Night. Kualitatif deskriptif merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan, untuk menganalisa foto tersebut digunakan teori kritik seni Edmund Burke Feldman, yaitu deskripsi, analisis formal, interpretasi, dan evaluasi. Tahap tersebut didukung dengan teori estetika Immanuel Khant, untuk mencari nilai estetika yang ada pada kelima karya foto Todd Hido. Abstract

Perkembangan dan percepatan teknologi telah memicu pergeseran fungsi kebaya sebagai pakaian tradisonal perempuan. Saat ini kebaya tidak lagi pakem difungsikan dalam kegiatan tertentu namun secara bebas digunakan sesuai kebutuhan fashion. Fenomena perkembangan penggunaan kebaya ini berdampak pada munculnya beragam variasi karakter kebaya sesuai selera dan kepentingan pengguna. Sebagai generasi muda yang mengagumi perkembangan kebaya, penulis tertarik untuk mengungkap keberadaan kebaya di era modern ini menjadi tema utama penciptaan karya seni lukis. Dalam pewujudan karya seni lukis ini, metode penciptaan yang digunakan mengacu pada pemikiran Alma M. Hawkins, meliputi: eksplorasi (eksploration), improvasi (improvation), dan pembentukkan atau komposisi (forming. Sekurang-kurangnya dalam penulisan artikel ini memiliki tiga tujuan utama yakni menjelaskan latarbelakang penciptaan karya, menguraikan metode penciptaan karya, serta mendeskripsikan hasil penciptaan karya seni lukis dengan tema perempuan berkebaya di era modern. Abstract

In this study, the discussion focuses on public service advertisements. The purpose of using this advertisement is to determine the effect of the advertisement on public awareness to use masks during the pandemic. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there are many ways to protect yourself. One of them is the Community Movement Using Masks (Gemas). This study uses qualitative research methods using a literature and empirical approach. Then the data is obtained from several regulations, such as the regulation of the governor of DKI Jakarta and phenomena that occur in the field. This advertisement is used as a means to socialize the use of masks during the pandemic and to assist the government in breaking the chain of distribution of the COVID-19 virus. The results showed that advertising had an influence on people's behavior. The results of this data are in accordance with the concepts of mass communication theory and advertising, both of which have the aim of influencing and changing people's behavior to use masks. This study uses qualitative methods, qualitative methods are methods that collect data in the form of words or sentences.Keyword: advertising, mobile web, masks, pandemic

Abstract

This Final Project report entitled Portrait of Murung Kampung Dog as a Source of Inspiration for the Creation of Paintings was created based on experiences and observations related to cases that befell the lives of mongrels, from neglect, neglect, abuse, to consumption by humans. From this source of inspiration, the author creates a painting that is expected to be an awareness, that in treating mongrels like human friends. Cultivation of this final project using the L.H Chapman method with three stages, namely efforts to find ideas, develop ideas and visualize. The process of realizing the work of applying the plaque technique using acrylic paint on canvas media. This Final Project shows the visual of mutt dogs that have experienced various sufferings and cruelties from humans. This final project presents 10 works of painting. Abstract

Senjata tradisional khususnya keris mengalami perkembangan dari bentuk dan karakternya seiring dengan kemajuan zaman. Dalam tugas akhir ini penulis membuat keris kreasi baru, mengabungkan motif Trenggiling pada keris dengan teknik tinatah didalam karya tersebut. Motif Trenggiling memberikan insipirasi pada penulis, karena memiliki bentuk pada sisik yang menarik dan mewakili  simbol perlindungan diri. Trenggiling adalah satu-satunya hewan mamalia yang memiliki sisik untuk melindungi tubuhnya dari pemangsa atau predator di alam liar. Motif Trenggiling disesuaikan dengan desain dan akan diterapkan pada karya tosan aji berupa Keris.Metode penciptaan yang diterapkan dalam proses penciptaan yaitu tahap eksplorasi, tahap perancangan, dan tahap perwujudan. Eksplorasi meliputi obervasi, studi pustaka dan wawancara. Perancangan meliputi analisis dan sketsa alternatif. Perwujudan meliputi penerapan pada material yang sudah sesuai dengan sketsa yang terpilih, yang menghasilkan tiga keris yakni: dhapur Trenggiling Sisik Waja, dhapur Trenggiling Lingkaring Urip, dhapur Manis Javanica. Penciptaan tugas akhir ini berpijak pada penerapan motif Trenggiling pada keris dengan teknik tinatah. Motif Trenggiling memberikan inspirasi pada penulis, karena memiliki karakter yang menarik, unik, dan mewakili simbol perlindungan diri. Diharapkan menghasilkan keris-keris kreasi baru tanpa meninggalkan tradisi yang dapat membangun makna-makna yang terkandung serta turut melestarikan karya seni. Kata kunci: Keris, motif, Trenggiling Abstract Traditional weapons, especially kris, have developed from their shape and character along with the times. In this final project, the writer makes a new keris, combining the pangolin motif on the kris with the chopping technique in the work. The Pangolin motif gives inspiration to the author, because it has a shape on the scales that is attractive and represents a symbol of self-protection. Pangolins are the only mammals that have scales to protect themselves from predators or predators in the wild. The pangolin motif is adapted to the design and will be applied to tosan aji's work in the form of a kris. The creation methods applied in the creation process are the exploration stage, the design stage, and the embodiment stage. Exploration includes observations, literature study and interviews. The design includes analysis and alternative sketches. The embodiment includes the application of the material that is in accordance with the selected sketch, which produces three kris, namely: Dhapur Trenggiling Sisik Waja, Dhapur Trenggiling Lingkaring Urip, Dhapur Manis Javanica. The creation of this final project rests on the application of the Pangolin motif to the kris using the tinatah technique. The Pangolin motif inspires the writer, because it has an interesting, unique character, and represents a symbol of self-protection. It is hoped that they will produce new kris creations without leaving the tradition that can build the meanings and help preserve works of art. Key words: Kris, motive, pangolin

Abstract

Coastal Style or what is known as the Nautical Style is an interior design style that describes the atmosphere of the beach and the sea waves. The atmosphere of this beach is identical to its cool coloring, namely blue, green, and brown sand. This style is suitable to be applied in Indonesia with its tropical climate. However, usually Coastal Style is applied to houses on the coast. The interior design theme that describes this beach succeeds in making the room's atmosphere breezy, calm, and peaceful. The accessories and decoration factor for this marine theme also adds to the beach feel to the room. With a coastal design, a house feels like a private beach that can keep the mind away from feeling stressed, and saturated with the problems that come your way.            Keywords : Style, Coastal, Nautical, Beach, Breezy.

Abstract

Berangkat dari pengalaman empiris penulis berinteraksi dengan sahabat dalam lingkup masyarakat muslim dapat diambil pelajaran dari adab berinteraksi yaitu proses merefleksikan diri agar berkembang menjadi pribadi yang lebih positif dan upaya persuasif untuk mengajak masyarakat memahami dan menyadari pentingnya sebuah hubungan sosial yang ideal dan harmonis. Penciptaan karya mengacu pada tiga tahapan meliputi tahap eksperimen, perenungan, dan pembentukan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penciptaan karya Tugas Akhir ini adalah karya seni grafis silk screen teknik afdruk dengan editing raster warna CMYK yang dicetak di atas kertas. Kata Kunci: Interaksi, Sahabat, Tuntunan Islam, Seni Grafis, Silk Screen.  ABSTRACT Departing from the author's empirical experience of interacting with friends within the scope of Muslim society, lessons can be learned from interacting manners, namely the process of self-reflection in order to develop into a more positive person and persuasive efforts to invite people to understand and realize the importance of an ideal and harmonious social relationship. The creation of works refers to three stages including the stages of experimentation, contemplation, and formation. The result obtained from the creation of this final project is a silk screen graphic art with afdruk technique with CMYK color raster editing that is printed on paper.  Keywords: Interaction, Friends, Islamic Guidelines, Graphic Art, Silk Screen.
