Abstract

Many grade VI students of Pecuk 1 Elementary School whose scores are still below the KKM are the reasons for conducting this research. One effort that can be made to improve learning outcomes is to apply the Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative Learning Model. The object of the research is the entire process and results of PKn learning with the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative model. The instruments used are observation sheets. The data analysis technique is descriptive quantitative. The results obtained are that the critical thinking skills of grade VI students of Pecuk 1 Elementary School increased after the use of the Think Pair Share Cooperative model in PKn learning with the material of Practicing Pancasila Values. This increase is evident in the increase in students' critical thinking skills from an average pre-action score of 64.8 to 69.6 in cycle I and increasing to 79.2 in cycle II. Students who achieved the success criteria experienced an increase of 45% in pre-action to 60% in cycle I and increasing to 90% in cycle II. The results of the observation also showed an increase in student activity from cycle I to cycle II, namely 30% of students' activities increased, including: students were active in learning, students were freer to search for and collect the desired information, and students also had more opportunities to learn with friends.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes after implementing the Discovery Learning model in thematic learning theme 3 subtheme 1 in class VI of SD Negeri Bintoro 14 Demak semester I of the 2021/2022 academic year. The subjects of this study were 13 class VI students consisting of 8 male students and 5 female students. The type of research used was classroom action research which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle was carried out in four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collected in this study were data on student learning outcomes using observation and test methods, then the data obtained were analyzed descriptively. In the pre-cycle, the percentage of student learning outcomes that experienced completeness was only 15.38%, then increased to 53.84% in cycle I and increased again to 84.62% in cycle II. This increase occurred because the teacher had applied the learning model according to its syntax and could encourage students to be actively involved in learning so that students could understand the material freely. Based on this, it can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model can increase student activity and learning outcomes in thematic learning.

Abstract

Science learning in the classroom still positions students as listeners to the teacher's lectures, as a result learning is boring, and students are less active. The impact is that student learning outcomes are less than optimal. The purpose of this study was to describe learning activities, learning management and student learning outcomes during the application of the cooperative learning model in 5th grade science learning at SD Negeri Kramat 1. This study was designed with classroom action research. The results showed that the most prominent student learning activities were observing, experimenting, or working, which always increased in each cycle. Learning management has been able to master students in learning. Student learning outcomes in science learning through the application of cooperative learning models have increased a lot. Taking into account the results of the study, the researchers suggest that teachers should not place students as listeners to the teacher's lectures, but treat them as actors of learning, teachers need to choose, design, and apply appropriate learning models to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the learning system in Indonesia from face-to-face learning to distance learning. Such changes in the learning system need to be addressed by using a learning model that is in accordance with the distance learning system. Blended learning is a learning approach that combines face-to-face and online learning as an alternative to this change in the learning system. This study aims to determine the effect of the think pair share (TPS) model based on blended learning on students' mathematics learning outcomes. Quantitative research by comparing two learning models on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The research sample was from grade VI students of SD N Mrisen 1 in Demak Regency. The results of the study obtained that the TPS model based on blended learning had an effect of 71.9% on student learning outcomes. This shows that the blended learning approach to the TPS model significantly affects students' mathematics learning outcomes.
