Abstract

The results of observations and interviews in science learning for fifth grade elementary school, the material of human blood circulation and its functions have difficulty understanding because the teacher is active but the students are passive, and also the limitations of the learning media used by teacher. This study aims to determine the practicality of APKOBAR media in bioedutainment strategies in science learning for students at SDN Tembok 02, Limpung District, Batang Regency. This research is research and development by adopting the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The analyze stage includes initial analysis, student analysis, concept analysis and formulating learning objectives. The design stage includes making the apron media framework, which is designed to have a box-shaped space covered in transparent plastic which is used as a place for material images. The development stage includes combining the collected materials into media and developing instrument data. The implementation phase includes the application of APKOBAR media that has been developed for fifth grade students at SDN Tembok 02. The tests carried out at this stage are product feasibility tests, readability, and pretest-posttest for fifth grade students, with the result showing the readability of small-scale with an average score of 37,5 at interval X > 33,54 with very good category. The students’s readability test on a wide scale obtained an average score of 36,2 at interval X > 33,54 with a very good category. The results of the practicality test by practitioners consisting of class teachers and colleagues were declared valid in terms of appearance, material aspects and language aspects, as evidenced by the acquisition of an average score of 57 with an interval of X > 50.4 with a very good category. The evaluation stage includes the form of evaluation carried out at each stage of the ADDIE model. The conclusion of the study shows that the APKOBAR media in the developed bioedutainment strategy is feasible and practical to use in science learning for elementary school students.

Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of problem-based learning e-science learning modules in improving the scientific literacy skills of Five Grades students at SDN Kalisalak 02 Limpung. This study is research and development by modifying the 4-D model (Four D model) from Thiagarajan. 4-D development through 4 stages, namely identification (define), planning (design), development (develop) and dissemination (dessiminate). The data collection instruments in this study were validity sheets for material expert lecturers, media experts and practitioners, student readability sheets, practicality sheets for practitioners, lesson plans validation sheets, scientific literacy questions validation sheets, scientific literacy pretest and posttest questions. This instrument was developed based on the review of supervisors, assessments of expert lecturers, practitioners, and limited trials on students and practitioners. The stage of implementing the e-module developed for Five Grades students at SDN Kalisalak 02 Limpung. The dessiminate stage is the stage of using e-modules that have been developed on a wider scale, through the website address for problem-based learning e-modules that have been online so that they are spread through Google and can be accessed in a browser. The data analysis technique used is the n-gain test and T test. The n-gain test value in this study was obtained by 0.32 with a moderate increase category, and the T test value obtained by Sig. 0.033 <0.05 means that there is an effect of using problem-based learning e-science learning modules to improve students' scientific literacy skills. The results showed that the problem-based learning-based science learning e-module that was developed was proven to be valid, practical, and effective so that it was very feasible to be used in science learning in elementary schools to improve students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking ability of students, one of which is the use and selection of inappropriate learning models. Researchers used the Problem Based Learning model with videos of changes in the shape of objects. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model with videos of changing the shape of objects to improve students' critical thinking skills. The research method used is Quasi Eksperimental Design, the sampling of this research uses 2 study groups totaling 12 students for the Experiment class and 12 students for the Control class. The instrument in this study used a test of students' critical thinking skills in the form of questions, namely pretest and posttest. The variables in this study consisted of the independent variables of the Problem Based Learning model with videos of changes in the shape of objects and the dependent variable was the ability to think critically. The data analysis method was carried out by applying the Independent Sample t-test to test the hypothesis and the N-Gain test to assess the effectiveness of the learning model. Independent Sample t-test obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.004 <0.05, it is concluded that there is an influence or Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the effectiveness analysis using the N-Gain test obtained a score of 0.4922, meaning that the level of effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model with changes in the shape of objects in the experimental class is included in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of playing card learning media based on the Pancasila Student Profile in learning theme 2 unity in differences in class VI SD. This type of research is research and development. The development is carried out referring to the Sugiyono development model. The subjects of the research trial were students of class VI SDN Kreyo in the academic year 2021/2022. Consisting of 6 students of class VI in the small group trial and 21 students of class VI in the large group trial. The results of the assessments of media experts and material experts indicate that the learning media for playing cards based on the Pancasila Student Profile is feasible to use with the "Very Good" criteria. The small group trial resulted in a positive response with the criteria "Good". Large group trials were used to test the effectiveness and practicality of using game card products based on the Pancasila Student Profile. The effectiveness in terms of student learning outcomes shows that there is an average difference of 6.42 to 7.48. There is an increase in student learning outcomes as indicated by a significance value of 0.001 with a significance level of 0.005. The practicality of using game card media is shown from the teacher's observations, the percentage is 92% and the students' observations are 86.9% with each of the same practicality criteria, namely "Very Practical".

Abstract

This study aims to improve: (1) presentation performance to students in social studies learning, and (2) social studies learning outcomes in the material "Population Dynamics and National Development" in class VIII B odd semester students at SMP Negeri 2 Gubug, Grobogan Regency for the 2021 academic year/ 2022 through the application of the scientific learning method with the social inquiry model. This research is a classroom action research. The research was conducted in odd semester class VIII B of SMP Negeri 2 Gubug consisting of 32 students. The research was conducted in an odd semester for 3 (three) months, from July 2021 to September 2021. The research procedure in this action research basically refers to the research design used, namely: 1) planning; 2) implementation; 3) observation; and 4) reflection on the results of the action. Based on the results of the analysis, this study concluded: (1) Through the application of the scientific learning method social inquiry model (social inquiry) can improve student presentation performance in social studies learning material "Population Dynamics and National Development" for class VIII B odd semester students of SMP Negeri 2 Gubug , Grobogan Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year. This is indicated by the increased performance of student presentations in each cycle of action taken, and (2) through the application of the scientific learning method social inquiry model can improve student learning outcomes in Social Studies learning material "Population Dynamics and National Development" for students VIII B odd semester of SMP Negeri 2 Gubug. This is indicated by the increase in the average value of learning outcomes and the number of students with learning outcomes of classification A (Very Good) and B (Good) in each cycle of action taken.

Abstract

This research is part of a research on the development of student self-confidence assessment for elementary school. The purpose of this study was to determine the content validity and reliability of an instrument. The instrument developed was in the form of a questionnaire sheet. Content analysis and observation sheets used Coefficient V by Aiken's while Reliability used Cronbach's Alpha with the help of Ms. Excel. The results of this study indicate that: the questionnaire sheet in the form of a scoring rubric and this research proved valid, the highest with a coefficient of V Aiken s 0.74 and reliable with a coefficient of Cronbach's Alpha = 0.76 which means high. The instrument's feasibility test also shows 100% of the statement items are eligible to be used. Based on the results of this study, the assessment of increasing student self-confidence is appropriate to use.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a test instrument based on scientific literacy on the material of the digestive system. The design of this research is Research and Development (R&D). The test instrument was tested for validity, reliability, and the level of difficulty and differentiating power of questions to determine students' scientific literacy abilities. The subjects of the research trial were fifth grade students of SD Negeri Tosaran, Kedungwuni District, Pekalongan Regency. The validity test was carried out with content validity, criteria, and expert validation. Reliability test is done by looking for the price of the reliability coefficient. The characteristic test is carried out by determining the level of difficulty and distinguishing power. The results of the reliability test obtained are the value of r in the 0.840 test. The results of the validity test showed that the instrument was declared to meet content validity, criteria, and expert validation with valid and very valid criteria. The characteristics of the evaluation instrument developed indicate that the instrument has a proportion of difficulty levels, namely 30% moderate questions, and 70% difficult questions. The results of the discriminatory analysis were then combined with the level of difficulty and obtained 10 items of good quality that could be used.

Abstract

This research aims to determine content validity and reliability. Critical thinking assessment instruments that previously existed. The instrument developed is in the form of test questions. Analysis of the test items used the V coefficient by Aiken's while reliability was estimated using Kappa with the help of SPSS Version 28. The results showed that the test questions and research questions proved valid, the highest with Aiken's V coefficient ?s, namely 0.841 and reliable with a Cronbach Alpha coefficient of 0.903. After being validated, it was then tried out on class VI students at Karangtengah 01 Elementary School. The trial results showed that the level of difficulty of spreading and the differential power had good average criteria (can be used). Based on the results of this study, the instrument for assessing the critical thinking skills of class VI students at SDN Karangtengah 01 is valid and practical.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to develop a numeration-based test instrument that is tested for validity, reliability, and the level of difficulty and discriminating power of questions to determine students' numeracy abilities. The subjects of the research trial were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 02 Jolotigo, Talun District, Pekalongan Regency. The validity test was carried out with content validity, criteria, and expert validation. Reliability test is done by looking for the price of the reliability coefficient r. The characteristic test is carried out by determining the level of difficulty and distinguishing power. The results of the reliability test obtained are the value of r in the 0.869 test. The results of the validity test showed that the instrument was declared to meet content validity, criteria, and expert validation with valid criteria. The characteristics of the evaluation instrument developed indicate that the instrument has a proportion of difficulty levels, namely 10% easy questions, 80% moderate questions, and 10% difficult questions. The results of the discriminatory analysis were then combined with the level of difficulty and obtained 10 items of good quality that could be used.

Abstract

The problem is the independence of learning and the learning outcomes of class V students, who are still low. The low independence and learning outcomes are caused partly because the teacher only using conventional learning methods, namely the lecture method. The learning going on so far has been less able to develop students' critical thinking in class V at SDN Brambang. Low critical thinking has an impact on independence and student learning outcomes. Therefore, a way is needed to increase student independence and learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted by the E-Module on critical thinking, independent learning, and student learning outcomes on ecosystem material for class V. The research method used is Quasi Experiment with Posttest Control Group Design. The research population was VB class students as the control class and VA class students as the experimental class. The data collection technique used was a critical thinking questionnaire, and a learning independence questionnaire declared feasible for research and learning achievement test questions.
