Waste oil treatment through the distillation method with the addition of sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide media was successfully carried out. The purpose of this study was to obtain quality diesel fuel, study the effect of the concentration of chemical media used, and determine the effectiveness of using spritus substitute fuel. Waste oil treatment is carried out using a distillation method that involves the process of precipitation, filtration and addition of acid and alkaline media. After going through the processing process, the resulting products are analyzed and tested physically and chemically such as density, specific gravity, flash point, fire point, calorific value, and kinematic viscosity. The results of physical test research and parameters were obtained at optimum conditions of use using H2SO4 and NaOH concentrations of 6%. Physical tests obtained brownish-yellow fuel while parameter tests on density tests were 817 km/m3, specific gravity was 0.801, flash point and fire point were 61°C and 72°C,while kinematic viscosity was 4.99 m2/s. The results of this test show that the fuel obtained tends to have diesel quality, so that the fuel has the potential and effectiveness to be used as a substitute for spritus in patching motorcycle tires

Learning outcomes refer to the successful attainment of educational objectives by students who actively engage in the process of learning. Nevertheless, it is evident that student learning outcomes remain subpar, hence necessitating the implementation of a learning model aimed at enhancing student learning outcomes. The Group Investigation (GI) Learning Model is an educational approach that has been shown to enhance student learning results. The primary objective of this study was to assess the impact of implementing the Group Investigation (GI) Cooperative learning model and the direct learning model on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP N 6 Tondano. Specifically, the study focused on the topic of straight-line equations. The research employed a Quasi-Experimental Design as its chosen methodology. The present study comprised two classes, namely class VIII B as the experimental group and class VIII A as the control group. The sampling methodology employed in this study was Cluster Random Sampling. The methodology employed in this study involves the utilization of written tests for the purpose of data collecting. Based on the findings of the study, the statistical analysis using the t-test yielded a t-value of 2.5709, while the critical t-value (t-table) was determined to be 2.0322. Consequently, the calculated t-value exceeded the critical t-value (t-count > t-table). This implies that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected in favor of the alternative hypothesis (H1). Based on the findings, it can be inferred that students who were exposed to the Group Investigation (GI) cooperative learning model exhibited superior learning outcomes compared to students who were subjected to the direct learning model. This observation was made specifically in the context of studying straight-line equations among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Tondano.

The world of education plays a significant role in the development of students. So, to facilitate the learning process for students is the main task of a teacher. For this reason, teachers are not only required to make the learning atmosphere comfortable and exciting. However, the teacher must also be able to improve maximum learning outcomes for students. This study aims to determine whether the application of interactive PowerPoint learning media in the classroom can help improve student's learning outcomes in class VIII on the material of the human movement system as well as research. In contrast, the object used in this research is the application of learning media using interactive PowerPoint media at Arrival Junior High School Kaima. The type of research used is classroom action research by applying two cycles of data collection obtained from observations of teacher activities and observations of student activities as well as tests before and after the action and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative descriptive technique. Based on the study results, the class action that the researchers had carried out found that before the action was taken, the student's learning outcomes were 0%, or the number of students who had completed was absent. At the same time, there was an increase of 83.33% in the first cycle, and in the second cycle, again experienced an increase of 100%. This means that learning using interactive PowerPoint media is proven to help teachers improve learning outcomes in Kaima Adventist Junior High School class VIII students.

The purpose of this research is to find out the comparison of Inquiry and Problem Based Learning learning models on critical thinking skills in terms of students' learning interests. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Sandai. This research was a quantitative experiment with the type of quasi-experimental design (quasi-experimental) research. The design of this study followed the research paradigm flow of Randomized Only Control Group Design where the subjects taken were grouped into two groups, namely experiment I and experimental group II. In this study, the samples were VIII grade students consisting of VIII A and VIII B classes. Experimental class 1, VIII A consisted of 30 students and experimental class 2, VIII B consisted of 30 students. The data collection tools used in this study were response questionnaires and tests of critical thinking skills in the form of essay questions. The results of the analysis of variance of the two cell paths are not the same indicating that there are differences in critical thinking skills between students with high, medium and low interest in learning. Based on the post-anava test with the Scheffe method, the value of F_(.1-.2) = 0.7374; F_(.1-.3) = 6.7540; F_(.2-.3) = 1.4279; DK = {F│F<3.168}. Anisah. 182140060. "Development of Character Education-Based Interactive Learning Media in Class VII Middle School Mathematics Learning Using Powerpoint". Thesis. Mathematics education. FKIP. Purworejo Muhammadiyah University. 2023. The aim of this research is to develop and determine the feasibility of the learning media that has been developed. The media product in this study is in the form of interactive learning media based on character education using Powerpoint in learning mathematics for seventh grade junior high school on integer material. This research uses the type of development research (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection techniques in this research were carried out by means of interviews, questionnaires and tests. The instruments used include media expert and material expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaire sheets and student responses, and final test questions. The subjects in this research were class VIID students at SMP Negeri 18 Purworejo. Data analysis in this study was the validity data analysis of media experts and material experts, analysis of teacher response data and student responses, and analysis of final test completeness data. The results of the media expert's assessment obtained a total score of 66 with valid criteria and material experts obtained a total score of 29 with the validity calculation formula obtaining results with valid criteria, from the teacher response questionnaire and student responses obtained an average total score of 85.1 with practical criteria, from The results of the final question test obtained a completion percentage of 84% with effective criteria. Based on the research results, this mathematics learning media was declared valid, practical and effective. Thus it can be concluded that interactive learning media based on character education in class VII SMP mathematics learning using PowerPoint is appropriate to use as a learning medium.

This research is classroom action research (PTK) carried out at SMAS GUPPI Samata, Gowa Regency which aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes by using the Example Non Example type cooperative learning model. The subjects of this research were class XII students with a total of 26 students. Data collection was carried out using learning outcomes tests. The collected data was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The research results showed that the average score of student learning outcomes in cycle I reached an average of 82.38 and in cycle II reached an average of 86.15. The standard deviation in cycle I was 5.721 and in cycle II was 4.315. Based on the category of completeness of learning outcomes used, the score obtained for students' mathematics learning outcomes which were categorized as complete in cycle I was 73.07% and in cycle II it increased to 100%. From these results it can be concluded that there has been an increase in mathematics learning outcomes by using the Example Non Example type cooperative learning model.

This study pertains to the utilization of solar energy as a sustainable energy source, which exhibits considerable promise in Indonesia. The average daily solar radiation intensity in Indonesia is estimated to be approximately 4.8 kWh/m2. Nevertheless, the practical implementation of the Solar Power Plant (PLTS) presents several problems, including the need to improve the output power efficiency of the solar panels. This aspect offers the potential for significant enhancement. This study aimed to evaluate the performance of solar modules when equipped with reflectors, through a comparative analysis. In order to enhance the output power of the solar module, it is vital to augment the solar radiation received by this module. Based on the data acquired, it can be observed that the utilization of reflectors within the time frame of 11.00-12.00 WIT yields the maximum efficiency value.

The objective of this study is to assess the enhancement in student learning outcomes subsequent to the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning instructional approach in the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 2 Tondano, located in the Sangihe Islands district, during the academic year 2022/2023. The present study is an instance of classroom action research (PTK) employing an action cycle that encompasses action preparation, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants of this study consisted of 18 students from class XI MIPA3 at SMA N 2 Tondano. The data gathering methods encompass the assessment of student learning outcomes through the utilisation of test result data conducted at the conclusion of each instructional cycle. The data analysis was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach. The findings of the study indicated that the implementation of questionnaires in cycle I resulted in a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes. The sample size for this phase of the research consisted of 18 participants. The completion rate of students' learning outcomes exhibited an upward trend, rising from 79.94% in cycle I to 86.27% in cycle II. The observed rise in student learning scores over each cycle suggests that the utilisation of the Problem-Based Learning model has the potential to enhance the learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA3 SMA N 2 Tondano.

The aim of the research is to develop learning media in the form of electronic modules that are suitable for high school students to use. The development of this e-module product also aims to improve understanding of the material. This type of research is included in research and development. The research stages using the ADDIE model consist of: (1) needs analysis and material analysis stage, (2) design stage for making e-modules, (3) development stage by carrying out material validation and media validation, (4) implementation stage by carrying out tests extensive and limited testing, (5) evaluation stage. The research subjects for the limited test were 7 students of class XI IPS 2 and the broad test involved 36 students of class XI IPS 3. The data collection technique used was observation and using questionnaires and tests. The research data analysis technique goes through stages: (1) validity analysis, (2) practicality analysis, (3) effectiveness analysis, (4) gain test. The research results show that the e-module developed is suitable for use and can be said to be able to improve understanding of the material. Based on the research results, it shows that: (1) the average media expert score is 3.504 in the "very valid" category and the average material expert score is 3.22 in the "valid" category, (2) student questionnaire responses in limited trials with an average of an average of 3.14 is included in the "practical" category and the test response is broad with an average of 3.42 and is included in the "very practical" category, (3) the calculation of learning completeness reaches 75%, which is included in the "good" criteria, (4) The average gain test score was 0.5367 in the "medium" category.

Technology has changed the educational landscape by providing greater access to learning resources, creating interactive and engaging learning environments, and supporting the use of virtual simulations and experiments. Customisation of learning and the ability to track student progress through technology is an important focus in the effort to improve student learning motivation in Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education. This research uses qualitative research methods with literature study data collection techniques to investigate the impact of using learning technology on student learning motivation in Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education. The purpose of this research is to provide a deeper understanding of how learning technology can be optimised to improve student learning motivation in Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The results of this study have the potential to provide relevant recommendations that can help improve Mathematics and Natural Sciences education in the current digital era. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to the understanding of how learning technology can be used more effectively in increasing student learning motivation in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, so that it can provide maximum benefits in preparing students to face global challenges in the future.
