Abstract

Health financing still relies heavily on private money, causing most of the population to be less protected. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between patient comfort and BPJS health economy in the inpatient room of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. This study was conducted using quantitative method with Cross Sectional research design. The sample in this study were patients or families of inpatients participating in the Health BPJS who did not upgrade the class of inpatient room nurses at Arifin Achmad Hospital in 2022. Sampling in this study used Non-Probability Sampling technique. The dimensions of service quality evaluated include Tangible, Reability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Emphaty. The results show that income and education have a significant relationship with most dimensions of service quality, including Tangible, Reability, Assurance, and Emphaty. However, the number of family members is not significantly related by Responsiveness and Assurance variables. To determine the relationship of inpatient room patient comfort to health economics. The subjects in this study were BPJS Health patients in the inpatient room. The object of this study, the relationship of patient comfort to service quality which includes Tangibles (tangible form), Reability (reliability), Responsiveness (readiness), Assurance (guarantee), and Emphaty (empathy) to the Health Economy. In this study, the results of the assessment of respondents regarding each indicator on the health economy and service quality variables were obtained.

Abstract

Patient safety standards include efforts to improve patient safety, namely being able to educate staff about patient safety and communication being the key to patient safety. The research used was quantitative research with a sample size of 38 nurses in inpatient wards and the sampling technique in this research used Probability Sampling. Meanwhile, to determine the sample to be studied using Simple Random Sampling. The results of the research show that knowledge and attitudes have a significant effect on patient safety standards in the inpatient room at the Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital. This is supported by the F test which shows that the significance value is 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, which means that Accurate patient identification, Increased effective communication, Increased safety of drugs that need to be alert (high-alert), Certainty of the right location, right procedure, right patient operation, Reduction of the risk of health care related infections and Reduction of the risk of patient falls all together (simultaneous) has a significant influence on Knowledge and Attitude. The conclusion of this research is that knowledge and attitudes have a significant effect on patient safety standards in the inpatient room at the Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital. This is supported by the F test which shows that the significance value is 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, which means that these variables together (simultaneously) have a significant influence on Knowledge and Attitude. The suggestion of this research is to further improve patient safety standards both in the inpatient room and all services in the hospital.

Abstract

Effective communication is a process in communication that can produce attitude change. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of effective communication on the performance of outpatient registration administrative officers at the regional general hospital arifin achmad riau province. This study uses a type of quantitative research using a cross sectional design, conducted at the regional general hospital arifin achmad riau province with a total of 100 respondents, namely outpatient registration patients. This research was carried out by conducting several stages of analysis, including assumption analysis, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, T test and F test. The results of this study state that the sig. value is 0.000 which shows that 0.000 <0.05, so the conclusion is that there is a significant influence between effective communication (personal factors, environmental factors, relationship factors) on the performance of outpatient registration administrative officers at Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital.The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of effective communication on the performance of outpatient registration administrative officers at the Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital, Riau Province. Suggestions for the 5S culture banner (smile, greeting, greeting, courtesy, and courtesy) in the outpatient registration room. It is hoped that officers can carry out the 5S culture, so that there is effective communication between fellow officers and officers and patients who register.

Abstract

Sibolangit Village is one of the tourist villages in North Sumatra, this village is located in the Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. Educational limitations in terms of accessing the latest learning information create quite difficult challenges for several schools in Sibolangit Village. The health of the elderly is also a special concern there. The method of implementing Real Work Lecture (KKN) activities for North Sumatra State Islamic University students to the community consists of the work program JBT (Additional Study Hours), JBM (Evening Study Hours), JBP (Companion Study Hours), Koran Learning, elderly health and stunting education . All the programs carried out have run well which can be seen from the enthusiasm of students in participating in all the programs that have been created. in following all the programs that have been created and the same is true for elderly people who regularly take part in exercise activities and mothers and children who take part in posyandu and counseling.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is still a health problem in Indonesia today. At the same time, Indonesia is also facing a corona virus outbreak and TB patients must be more vigilant. The stigma of Tuberculosis causes mental trauma, suffering, late diagnosis and non-compliance with therapy. The lockdown imposed due to Covid -19 exacerbated the fears of each patient. The aim of this study was to explore the experiences of patients with TB infected with Coivd 19 during the pandemic in the pulmonary ward of RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. four participants were selected using purposive sampling techniques and data was collected through in-depth interviews. The results of the interviews were transcribed verbatim and analyzed using the Collaizi method. The research results showed 3 themes, namely "anxiety of TB patients with confirmed Covid-19 undergoing treatment", "Barriers to treatment", "The role of the environment in supporting patients". It is recommended that the family as the closest person always provide support to the patient to complete the treatment.

Abstract

Artificial insemination or IVF means a method to help fertile couples who experience difficulties in fertilizing a woman's egg cells by a man's sperm cells. To carry out artificial insemination (al-talqih al-Sina'iyah), a husband and wife who want to get pregnant are expected to always consult a doctor as to whether they can inseminate/be fertilized to produce offspring or not. Many people actually have sperm or ovum that is quite fertile, but cannot fertilize or be fertilized because there are abnormalities in their reproductive organs, for example the Fallopian Tubes are narrowed or the sperm emission is always weak, so this will hinder birth. If a case like this occurs, the doctor will try to take the woman's eggs (ovum) by means of aspiration of follicular fluid through the vagina, with a tool called "Transpajinal Transcular Ultra Sound" and sperm from the man, also taken and then combined. The cells are then stored in a culture dish for several days. This is what is called a "test tube baby", namely a baby that will be placed into a mother's womb using a device such as an injection.

Abstract

Hospital human resource management (HRM) is a system that requires special attention in order to be as effective and efficient as possible in managing human resources so that they can compete with other hospitals, both private and government. Quality human resources have an effect on improving the service quality of a hospital, one of which is RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau Province. This study aims to determine the strategy of human resource management (HRM) in improving service quality at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. This type of research is qualitative with an analytic descriptive approach. This research was conducted on 9 February - 30 June 2023 at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. There are 4 informants in this study and this research uses the Content Analysis model. The results showed that there were patient satisfaction surveys through print and electronic media, unscheduled and evenly distributed employee training, distribution of rewards that were not scheduled regularly, provision of replacements for old damaged goods, there were still units that had not displayed SOPs, no employee reserves, errors. data entry and room delivery, use of modern applications for attendance. It can be said that the Human Resource Management at Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province is not fully optimal. It is suggested that there should be training that is carried out consistently and evenly, setting a fixed period for giving rewards, displaying SOPs in all units, forming a special standby team and carrying out routine evaluations.

Abstract

Nystatin is the first line drug for oral candidiasis which is very difficult to dissolve in water. The Orabase Emulgel dosage form has good drug delivery capacity, as gel formulations generally provide faster drug release compared to ointments and creams. Gelling agent components play a role in determining the physical characteristics and permeability of emulgel. The type of gelling agent that will be used is carbomer 940 because it is a strong mucoadhesive. Nystatin is formulated in the form of orabase emulgel with 3 concentrations of carbomer 940, namely F1 (0.5%), F2 (1%), and F3 (2%). The physical characteristics of the preparations observed were organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, emulgel type, viscosity, adhesive power, spreadability, protective power and washability, and stability was tested. The results of the orabase emulgel nystatin preparation on physical characteristics using the MANOVA test (p<0.05) had an effect on pH, viscosity, spreadability and protective power.

Abstract

Basic sanitation is a minimum environmental health requirement that every food stall must have to meet daily needs. Based on the initial survey on April 14 2022 which researchers carried out at several food stalls in the West Mamboro sub-district, we still found rubbish that was piled up and left open, and waste that was thrown directly on the ground, so that flies were still visible. The aim of the research is to determine the description of sanitation and the level of fly density in the temporary dumping area for food stalls in West Mamboro sub-district. This type of research uses descriptive research to determine the description of sanitation and the level of density of flies in temporary dumping places for food stalls in West Mamboro subdistrict. The results and conclusions were obtained that there were 50%/100% of food stalls that did not meet the requirements for waste management, there were also 80%/100% of food stalls that did not meet the requirements for waste management, for the level of fly density there were 10%/100% of stalls foods that fall into the solid category. It is hoped that food stall owners can manage waste and waste properly and also have the authorities inspect sanitation regularly.

Abstract

Workload also takes into account the standard number of employees according to the profession, qualification standards and job evaluation standards. So, the high or low workload does not only depend on the number of workers available, but also depends on the qualifications of the health workers. HR planning can be done by carrying out calculations using the Work Load Indicator Staff Need (WISN) method. Based on interviews conducted by researchers with one of the outpatient admissions officers, information was obtained that the number of outpatient clinic patients in March 2023, 749 patients registering for inpatient admissions, sometimes made the outpatient admissions officers overwhelmed during the patient registration process. The number of outpatient admissions officers is only one person and is not comparable to the number of patient visits from outpatient clinics who will be registered for inpatient care. This causes the workload of officers to become excessive and results in fatigue impact on outpatient admissions officers and outpatient admissions services become less effective and efficient. The aim of this research is to analyze the workload of outpatient admissions officers at Sidoarjo Regional Hospital using the Work Load Indicator Staff Need (WISN) method with quantitative descriptive research methods and observation and interview methods. The results show that the number of outpatient admissions officers is 1 person, the available working time is 120,210 minutes per year, the standard workload is 24,785.56 minutes per year, the slack standard is 0.102 minutes per year, the workforce requirement for outpatient admissions officers is 2 people so it is recommended to add 1 person. outpatient admissions officer and a D3 Medical Records graduate.
