Abstract

This research study is based on the obstacles observed at Al Misbah Cibulan Cidahu Kindergarten in the management of emotions and peer interaction. One of the reasons is an inappropriate strategy and inadequate facilities. With a qualitative approach and case study design, data is collected through structured interviews, observations, and document reviews involving principals, teachers, students, and parents. The findings of the study include three main focuses, namely (1) the characteristics of the learning environment that support social-emotional development; (2) internal and external factors that support or inhibit this transformation; and (3) strategies that educators can use to create a conducive, empathetic, and inclusive learning environment. These findings offer practical insights for educators and policymakers on improving the quality of early childhood education, particularly in terms of the physical, social, and psychological aspects of designing learning environments for young children

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of Zootopia Wayang media in improving the listening skills of 5-6-year-old children at Al Misbah Kindergarten. Listening skills are an important foundation in language development, but many children still experience difficulties due to the lack of interesting learning media. This study used the R&D model with the ADDIE approach. The media was developed using animal characters made of plywood, painted with bright colours, and equipped with a safe moving stick. The results of expert validation showed that this media was very feasible to use (average feasibility >84%). The effectiveness test with a one-group pretest-posttest design on 20 children showed an increase in the average score from 20.35 to 34.05. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a significant difference (p = 0.000), with an N-Gain of 0.7003 (high category). In conclusion, Zootopia Wayang media is effective and feasible to use as a learning innovation to improve the listening skills of early childhood

Abstract

Fun learning is essential in the world of Early Childhood (AUD). Educators can utilise technology to create engaging learning media. So that during the learning process, children can be motivated. The purpose of this research is to develop media, to determine the feasibility of media and to determine the influence of WordWall learning media. The method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The population in this study is all students of Santika Arum Family Planning, and the sample is taken from 15 people. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation, with the data obtained in the form of learning. The study's results showed that the majority of children fell into the low category, with a percentage of 33.3%. After being given treatment, post-test data showed that the majority of children were in the high category, with a percentage of 46.6%. Therefore, Wordwall media can be used as one of the learning media to increase AUD learning motivation.
