Conference on Management, Business, Innovation, Education and Social Sciences (CoMBInES) Conducting a research is one of the implementations of Three Pillars of Higher Education that has a crucial role for the development of science, technology, and arts as well as for the improvement of the welfare of society since the research results are directly implemented to the society/community. To spread more significant effect; not only for the society/community but also for more external parties; therefore, Universitas Internasional Batam hold a Conference on Management, Business, Innovation, Education and Social Sciences (CoMBInES) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas partners to disseminate their research works. Through this conference, the researchers are able to share their knowledge and motivation in the application of sustainable research activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh manajemen laba dan tata kelola perusahaan terhadap pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan (CSR). CSR diukur berdasarkan standar pelaporan Global Reporting Initiative. Sampelnya adalah 41 perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI yang menerbitkan laporan keberlanjutan periode 2015-2019. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen laba, komite audit, komisaris independen, kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, ukuran dewan direksi dan direktur independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap CSR.

Abstract

The study was conducted to examine and analyze the effect of the independent variable, namely corporate governance and company characteristics on the dependent variable, namely accounting conservatism. The independent variables of corporate governance consist of the size of the board of directors, independent board of directors, type of auditor and the independent variables of company characteristics consist of firm size, leverage, profitability, and sales growth. Measurement of accounting conservatism in this research is measured based on accrual-based following Al-Saidi (2020). The object of this research are companies that have annual reports that are registered and published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this research was 5 years for the period from 2016 to 2020. There are 729 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, only 436 companies passed the selection to be used in this study. The data that has been collected will be processed using SPSS software and Eviews which will be analyzed using a panel regression model. The results obtained by the researcher indicate that the independent board of directors, leverage, profitability and sales growth have a significant positive effect on accounting conservatism. The variable size of the board of directors, type of auditor and firm size did not show a significant effect on accounting conservatism.

Abstract

Monster Toothpaste adalah suatu reaksi kimia yang terjadi dikarenakan pemisahan Oksigen ( ) dengan Hidrogen Peroksida ( ) yang disebabkan oleh katalis. Reaksi kimia yang bereaksi cepat membuat kesulitan melihat reaksinya secara keseluruhan dan detil. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merancang dan merekam sebuah video yang menggunakan efek Slow Motion untuk dapat dilihat oleh masyarakat secara jelas dan detil reaksinya. Perancangan video ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) yang kemudian diolah peneliti menggunakan aplikasi Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018. Abstract

The presence of online transportation, the increasing needs of the community, opens opportunities for International Food Brand businesses to be present in the food industry in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of customer attitude towards online delivery food on purchase intention for international food brands. This study analyzes the factors that influence purchase intention in online food delivery, namely: Food Quality, Service Quality, Price, Social Media, and Social Media. In the research model, the researcher conducts an online survey to collect data. This study uses Partial Least Square or PLS. The results of this study found that all hypotheses have a significant relationship and have a positive relationship with Purchase Intention Online Delivery Food at International Food Brands.

Abstract

The effective and efficient use of human resources could paly vital roles in success and productivity in the organization. Based on the 4th Industrial Revolution and the Diversity of Employees, it is mandated that Human Resource Management (HRM) practices be adopted for hiring and retaining employees. In this study, the main objective is to determine the relationship between training and development, performance appraisal, leadership styles and reward system, and their effect on the performance of employees in manufacturing sector. The study adopted a quantitative approach and data gathered from manufacturing employees in Malaysia. The current study showed a positive effect of HRM practices on enhanced employee performance amoung manufacturing employees. The fidings of this study may help to manage the diversity in the workplace and promote HRM pracices for organizational success and establish win-win employees and employers relationship.

Abstract

Mengalami gangguan pendengaran dapat menghambat keterampilan bahasa, salah satunya kemampuan kosakata. Terhambatnya perkembangan bicara dan bahasa anak tunarungu akan mengalami keterlambatan dan kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji penggunaan game edukasi terhadap kemampuan kosakata anak tunarungu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan sumber-sumber literatur yang sesuai pada tesis, jurnal nasional dan jurnal internasional. Hasil analisis menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media game edukasi mampu melatih kemampuan penguasaan kosakata pada anak tunarungu. Penggunaan media game edukasi memiliki manfaat dalam proses pembelajaran pada anak tunarungu. Penggunaan game edukasi mempermudah dalam mengajarkan dan mengenalkan kosakata pada anak tunarungu

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi keadaan perusahan yang mengalami kesulitan keuangan dan merencanakan solusi untuk mnciptakan struktur perusahaan yang efisien, penting bagi manager, investor , pemegang utang , karyawan , dan administrasi public untuk menunjukkan bahwa struktur dewan dikaitkan dengan kemungkinan kesulitan keuangan. Sebanyak 691 perusahaan tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2019 digunakan sebagai sampel untuk penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Laporan keuangan perusahaan yang dipublikasikan (www.idx.co.id) digunakan sebagai data dalam penelitian ini. Pengujian data menggunakan regresi panel akan dilakukan menggunakan program E-View versi 10.0. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perubahaan dalam ukuran perubahan ukuran dewan dan professional direktur terdapat tidak signifikan positif sedangkan direktur independen terdapat tidak signifikan negatif pada kesulitan keuangan, sementara perubahaan dalam biaya keuangan dan ukuran perusahan terdapat pengaruh signifikan negaif sedangkan profitabilitas dan laba yang ditahan terdapat pengaruh signifikan positif

Abstract

Video games is used mostly for entertainment, but video games also can be used for learning it can make the player follow a story while playing. Indonesian have many history and heroic story however many Indonesian people already forgotten what is tfhe hero do on history of Indonesian to deserve claim a title of Indonesian hero, so because of that author produce a game that tell everyone one of Indonesian history and heroic story named “Perang Gerilya Jenderal Sudirman” that can help to remind them. This story is about Indonesian Hero General Sudirman and the unity of Indonesian people to fight back against enemy Holland. This game is created using unity and C# Programming Language. Unity is a game engine that help developer to create the game and for C# is for developer to create function or logic for the game. This Research using GDLC (Game Development Life Cycle) Method. GDLC is a method process stages of game development that consists initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, release. By Creating this game the author hope this game can be release and help the people intends to learn the history and heroic story of General Sudirman and the unity of Indonesian people fighting the invader through game.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh daripada tata kelola perusahaan terhadap pengungkapan pajak. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Variabel pengungkapan pajak merupakan variabel dependen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, Variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah firm size, industry dummies, leverage, dividend, capital intensity, growth, earning management, kontrol incentive compensation,managerial ownership. Penelitian menggunakan data sekunder serta metode regresi panel. Penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS 2.10 dan eviews 10. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 2.070 data. Data perusahaan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ada sebanyak 414 perusahaan yang tercatat di BEI periode 2015-2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan incentive compensation, managerial ownership, firm size, leverage, earning management, industry dummies, Dividend berpengaruh signifikan. Variabel growth, capital intensity tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengungkapan pajak pada perusahaan.

Abstract

Batam City is one of the cities that has become a tourist destination for local and foreign tourists, located in the Riau Islands Regency, Riau Islands Regency, there are many islands and are not widely known to the public due to lack of information dissemination, one of which is Kalok Island. In this study, we will examine the design of a tourist attraction introduction video with a cinematic approach, where the video is made with a conceptualized plot and uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. will be made, the design stage, carried out in detail and in detail, the stage of collecting materials, preparing the materials needed when shooting, the manufacturing stage, where the project will be designed, the testing stage, testing whether it is as planned, the distribution stage, where the video has been completed and published on the YouTube platform. In order to introduce Tourism Objects on Kalok Island, the researchers made a video with a cinematic approach so that the video can be used as an effective medium of information to introduce to the wider community about the existence of Kalok Island and can increase the interest of tourists to visit the island
