Conference on Community Engagement Project (Concept)
Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

Covid-19 pandemic has been affecting all sectors of the economy and no exception for education sector. Since covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning process has been carried out online. Online learning is a challenge for both teachers and students. Therefore, making teaching materials are aims for helping teachers of SMKN 1 Tanjungpinang to know more materials and question banks, easier for teachers to execute materials to students through powerpoints and videos, and increasing student interest in learning. Data collection techniques for making teaching materials are through books, official websites such as Online Pajak, Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP), Klik Pajak, and materials from tax brevet. The result of the implementation of this report are teachers and students can easily access the materials that being taught, increase students' learning interest, and add more resources and deeper learning through question banks.

This activity was done to apply accounting knowledge learned during the university study to daily business practice. Besides, this activity also aims to help micro-business entrepreneurs make accounting records and financial reports accurately and correctly to reflect the business economy situation. The object of this activity is June’s Market, a micro-business that operates online and still uses manual records on books, also not having a good financial report. These conditions were known by visiting the business place and also by interviewing. This activity results in an accounting system designed in Microsoft Access program so that entrepreneurs can easily do the records and the system can automatically create financial reports. This system can also improve business flow to a more efficient and effective business operation.

A brand is something that is used to get to know a product or company in commerce. Brand rights are also one of the components of intellectual property that align with copyright, patents, and other intellectual property rights. Registering a brand can avoid unfair business competition. For people who live in small towns and do not understand the rules of the brand, it is rare to register a brand even though the resulting product is conventional in wide circles. Brand registration is considered quite difficult and can only be registered in certain places, namely at the Office of the Director General of IPR Jakarta or through the DepkumHAM Kanwil in the provincial capital, therefore being one of the factors in the least number of brand registrations in Indonesia. Riau Islands Province. Related to these problems, the place used to conduct research is to carry out practical work on the CV. Tribina Jasaindo is a business entity engaged in document management services in Batam City. This research uses normative legal methods based on literature studies, then delivered through design ideas in accordance with the working title of practice and data information processing to perform designs on a series of activities. The results of this study show that the procedures for brand registration and its protection are regulated in Law No. 15 of 2001 on Brands.

Performance appraisal is a systematic evaluation process of employee performance that is useful for understanding a person's ability for career growth and further skill development. Performance appraisal is a tool that is used strategically to increase the effectiveness of the organization in managing its human resources. This employee performance appraisal format is expected to be able to go hand in hand with or concurrently with the evaluation, review of company performance. The design of this performance assessment format uses the Graphic Rating Scale method. The rating scale use Likert scale, which contains an assessment using several assessment indicators, namely work skills, quality, responsibility, teamwork, attitudes and communication skills.

The author's partners want to expand their business so that they want to expand their business with a Franchise or Franchise business model, the method used in solving problems is starting from educating partners related to several things that need to be known related What is IPR and in the registration, a note is made on the documents that are needed to be used as a necessary requirement for registering the required trademark IPR, the Condition of the Partner after Implementation is Partners understand more about how to register online trademarks and the documents that need to be prepared related to online trademark registration, especially for SMEs, and until this article was made the registered mark is still in the announcement stage and has not yet received a registered trademark certificate.

This project aims to design a computerized accounting system as a solution for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that are still constrained by the process of transaction recording and accounting reporting. The object of this work practice using one of the MSMEs from Batam City named Otak-otak Regata. Otak-otak Regata’s accounting recording and reporting system are still relatively less effective and efficient. The target of this activity itself is an accounting system adapted to the business characteristics of Otak-otak Regata that simplify the process of recording and reporting accounting but generate reliable and accurate output at the same time. Work practice conducted in Otak-otak Regata was carried out for 1 (one) semester from September 2021 to December 2021. The initial stage carried out in this activity is the collection of information about business flow and problems faced by MSMEs through interviews and observations. The collected information is then compiled into master data for the system to be designed using Microsoft Access. The result show that the designed system can generate an accurate reports through transactions that the owner of the Otak-otak Regata input into the system’s form. Further researchers are recommended to be able to properly understand the characteristics of the community service practice object used from the early stages of the activity so that the output of the activity is in accordance with what is needed

Email of correspondence: 1821006.willy@uib.edu, andik@uib.ac.id Abstract PT Energi Sejahtera Mas (ESM) is an oleochemical manufacturing company based in Dumai, Riau, Indonesia. PT ESM uses various instruments in their plants to support production processes. While author’s internship was underway, 3 level transmitters were replaced with VEGAPULS 64 in tank farms, which were on T-1225, T-1228, and T-1134 tanks.Analysis is performed on these three new level transmitters to see if VEGAPULS 64 is applicable on tank farms. Both new and old transmitters are compared by how much error they made while measuring medium’s height in tanks.The result shows that VEGAPULS 64 usage on T-1225 and T-1134 gives a more accurate measurement than the previous level transmitter. But, on the other hand, it causes more error on T-1228. There are some possibilities that might cause this to happen, which are wrong parameter adjustment, the signal’s polarization direction, or human error. Changing the parameter is recommended because the value is different with the one it supposed to be.

In Law 20 of 2016 concerning Marks and Geographical Indications in Article 1 Paragraph 1 explains that A brand is a sign that is displayed graphically in the form of images, logos, letters, words, and color arrangements in 2 or 3 dimensions by combining these 2 or 3 elements which creates a difference in goods and or services produced by individuals or legal entities in trading activities. Good faith in trademark registration is the beginning of the filing of a trademark registration application in Batam, where each brand and its logo has different characteristics and characteristics from each of the services and goods businesses. In this case, the owner of Nasi Bakar Maryam does not understand and does not know how to do Online Mark Registration. It is important for all Traders to Register their Marks so that they can be legally protected against trademark rights and get legal certainty over the trademarks owned by every trade in Goods and Services. Brands in the world of trade in goods and services have a very important role. For that purpose and from this community service is to register the trademark. The implementation method of this activity has 3 stages, namely making an agreement and explaining to partners the purpose of this activity, collecting the required data, and registering a mark and the result of this activity is that the Nasi Maryam Mark will be registered in Intellectual Property Rights.

This study aims to implement inventory management at MSME Detac Café in 2021 and 2022 using the EOQ, ROP, and SS methods. The results of data analysis are used to determine the optimal number of orders with the aim of dealing with uncertainty in demand as it is known that there is a possibility of fluctuating demand, so as to satisfy customer demand and minimize storage costs. Inventories that are calculated in this study are coffee beans, milk, cream, cheese, and tea. Based on the results of interviews with the owner, it shows that the MSME Detac Café inventory system is still not effective so that there is no stock storage cost efficiency. The results of this study indicate that the calculation used is able to reduce inventory costs in the form of storage and delivery costs for Detac Café. By implementing this inventory management, MSMEs can achieve a more efficient total inventory cost.

Waste management in Batam City is an important aspect that must be monitored carefully because it is closely related to environmental sanitation and order. For Batam city, regulations regarding waste management are regulated in Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2013 concerning Waste Management in Batam City. In this article, the author will explain how the implementation of this Regional Regulation in Batam City is related to the handling of illegal landfills (TPS) which of course causing a negative impact on the environment and also the appropriate penalty to countermeasures this problem. In this article, the method used by the author is the implementation method as for the stages, namely: The initial stage is preparation of PKM to agencies regarding the application for PKM permits and permission to conduct research related to the title chosen. The next stage will be observation and identification of the subject matter and carry out data collection to be analyzed at the Batam City Environmental Service. The author makes a project output design based on the practical workplace conditions. The last stage in this is the author processes the data that has been obtained and makes a PKM report. Then the author also designs the output which is the result of the practical work.
