Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

Abstract

In the past, the use of conventional marketing systems was often used by business owners to increase business in the sense of carrying out a face-to-face promotion system. However, the development of technology has made the system less being used but a new marketing system has emerged that makes it easier for a business to promote its products or services where this system is only sufficient to take advantage of one's creativity and one's intention to carry it out. Best Eating House Restaurant still relies on this conventional marketing system. Therefore, the authors want to implement a marketing mix system at the restaurant so that the restaurant has increased sales by 10% every day. The method used is in the form of training (training) for business owners. In this case, the author will design strategies that in the future can be utilized by business owners in the long term, namely designing food and beverage menus with contemporary themes, creating an Instagram account with business account status, compiling aesthetic food menu dishes in the Instagram feed and uploading them to the Instagram story, make highlights on Instagram to make it easier to search, and design stamp cards for visitors where if you have got a stamp of 5x @ IDR 30,000 then free screwdriver tea drinks

Abstract

Performance appraisal is a systematic evaluation process of employee performance that is useful for understanding a person's ability for career growth and further skill development. Performance appraisal is a tool that is used strategically to increase the effectiveness of the organization in managing its human resources. This employee performance appraisal format is expected to be able to go hand in hand with or concurrently with the evaluation, review of company performance. The design of this performance assessment format uses the Graphic Rating Scale method. The rating scale use Likert scale, which contains an assessment using several assessment indicators, namely work skills, quality, responsibility, teamwork, attitudes and communication skills.

Abstract

Kegiatan program mengajar dilaksanakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan di SMK Batam International School terkait pembelajaran secara daring. Masalah yang terdapat di sekolah ini adalah kurangnya tenaga kerja dalam jurusan akuntansi dan kemampuan mengajar dassar akuntansi dengan menggunakan metode blended learning. Hasil pembelajaran murid dalam implementasi metode belajar sebelumnya tidak mencapai hasil yang memuaskan yang diharapkan oleh pihak sekolah. Hal ini juga ditunjukkan dari sikap kurangnya atusiasme para murid dalam belajar akuntansi di kelas. Berdasarkan masalah ini maka dilakukan kegiatan program mengajar pelajaran akuntansi dan melakukan pengembangan metode mengajar serta bahan ajar untuk mendukung pembelajaran daring sehingga diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kompetensi para murid di bidang akuntansi dasar dan meningkatkan minat para murid dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar baik secara daring maupun secara tatap muka

Abstract

Achun 178 restaurant is a business engaged in Chinese cuisine. This restaurant is located on Trikarsa Ekualita street, Batam. In running his business, the owner stated that there was a problem where this business did not yet have regulations and work contracts where previously there had been cases of employees resigning from the restaurant and opening a new restaurant with the same food recipes. To solve the problems faced by restaurants, the author proposes to assist these businesses in making legal documents consisting of business regulations and work contracts. Business regulations and work contracts that have been made contain the rights and obligations of employers and employees. This is made to align goals and provide harmony to work life at Achun 178 restaurant. Making this legal document is expected to help restaurants minimize problems that exist in the future.

Abstract

Upaya menerapkan bauran promosi pada KJ Laundry Service yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara mempromosikan dan jenis – jenis bauran promosi yang dapat diterapkan terhadap usaha. Analisa dalam penulisan laporan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tersebut menggunakan teori promotion mix yaitu promosi dari periklanan dan promosi penjualan. Bauran promosi merupakan suatu strategi yang penting bagi KJ Laundry Service untuk dapat bersaing dengan mitra lainnya di Kota Batam. Ditinjau dari hasil karakteristik masalah penelitian tersebut masuk terhadap penerapan strategi untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Cara ini dilakukan pada saat laporan pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada KJ Laundry Service selama tiga bulan. Adapun metode yang dilakukan dalam melaksanakan laporan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu observasi, wawancara, perancangan strategi pemasaran secara langsung kepada pemilik usaha. Hasil kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah perlunya KJ Laundry Service untuk meningkatkan bauran promosi yang sudah ada dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan penjualan perusahaan dan lebih bisa bersaing dengan pihak lain.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the things that encourage the development of the economy in Indonesia so that the government also helps in its development to make it easier for MSMEs to develop their businesses, so the government has also issued several policies that make it easier for MSMEs, such as the requirements for their formation and also related with trademark registration for MSMEs, the costs required are also reduced. The author's partners want to expand their business so that they want to expand their business with a Franchise or Franchise business model, the method used in solving problems is starting from educating partners related to several things that need to be known related What is IPR and in the registration, a note is made on the documents that are needed to be used as a necessary requirement for registering the required trademark IPR, the Condition of the Partner after Implementation is Partners understand more about how to register online trademarks and the documents that need to be prepared related to online trademark registration, especially for SMEs, and until this article was made the registered mark is still in the announcement stage and has not yet received a registered trademark certificate.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membuat stand banner mengenai syarat-syarat yang harus dilengkapi untuk melakukan pengaduan mengenai dugaan tindak erusakan dan pencemaran lingkungan hidup di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Batam. Dasar hukum yang menjadi acuan adalah Undang-Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2009 Tentang Perlindungan dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup, Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Nomor 22 Tahun 2017 Tentang Tata Cara Pengelolaan Pengaduan Dugaan Pencemaran dan/atau Perusakan Lingkungan Hidup dan/atau Perusakan Hutan. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat dibagi menjadi 3 tahapan. Pada tahapan awal adalah melakukan persiapan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ke instansi terkait. Pada tahapan selanjutnya akan dilakukan observasi dan identifikasi pokok permasalahan dan melakukan pengumpulan data yang akan dianalisis di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Batam. Penulis membuat rancangan luaran proyek berdasarkan praktek dan kondisi tempat kerja praktek. Pada tahapan akhir, Penulis akan membuat suatu laporan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa Tata Cara Pengaduan Mengenai Dugaan Tindak Kerusakan dan Pencemaran Lingkungan Hidup Di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Batam telah berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Nomor 22 Tahun 2017 Tentang Tata Cara Pengelolaan Pengaduan Dugaan Pencemaran dan/atau Perusakan Lingkungan Hidup dan/atau Perusakan Hutan. Luaran proyek yang Penulis buat merupakan tahapan yang berlangsung di lokasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

One of the MSMEs in Batam named Toko Melisa has problems in recording its business activities. Toko Melisa still uses the cash basis method of recording and only records sales in a book. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to help Toko Melisa make good bookkeeping by designing an accounting system from Microsoft Access. The data collection methods used for this activity are interview and observation methods. The result of this community service is the Microsoft Access accounting system, which will hopefully make it easier for Toko Melisa to build financial records, and the system can also generate financial reports automatically. The recommendations for further community service activities are to provide new solutions and innovations to accounting problems faced by other MSMEs, such as creating a system that can support tax calculations.

Abstract

Penulis melakukan proyek ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan Hopeng Kopitiam dalam menghasilkan laporan keuangan sesuai standar akuntansi yang berlaku. Laporan keuangan yang digunakan oleh Hopeng Kopitiam dengan cara pencatatan manual di buku, sehingga sering terjadinya human error. Oleh sebab itu, penulis akan merancang sebuah sistem pencatatan akuntansi dan persediaan dengan menggunakan Microsoft Access yang dapat membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang sedang dialami oleh Hopeng Kopitiam serta dapat mencegah terjadinya human error. Sistem pencatatan akuntansi yang dirancang akan menyesuaikan kebutuhan oleh pemilik Hopeng Kopitiam. Laporan keuangan dan laporan persediaan yang akan dihasilkan pada sistem Microsoft Access. Laporan keuangan terdiri dari Laporan Posisi Keuangan, Laporan Laba Rugi, Laporan Perubahan Modal, Laporan Arus Kas, Buku Besar, dan Jurnal Umum. Laporan persediaan yang dirancang menghasilkan laporan persediaan bersifat kuantitas dan biaya. Setelah melakukan implementasi dan uji coba oleh penulis terhadap pemilik dan semua sistem yang dirancang telah aman untuk dijalankan. Hasil rancangan akan diserahkan kepada pemilik untuk digunakan. Demikian sistem Microsoft Access yang dihasilkan, diharapkan dapat membantu Hopeng Kopitiam menyelesaikan kendala yang selama ini dialami. Sistem yang dirancang berbasis aplikasi web dengan berisi laporan yang lebih lengkap dan akurat diharapkan dapat dilakukan oleh siapa melakukan proyek selanjutnya.

Abstract

This project aims to design a computerized accounting system as a solution for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that are still constrained by the process of transaction recording and accounting reporting. The object of this work practice using one of the MSMEs from Batam City named Otak-otak Regata. Otak-otak Regata’s accounting recording and reporting system are still relatively less effective and efficient. The target of this activity itself is an accounting system adapted to the business characteristics of Otak-otak Regata that simplify the process of recording and reporting accounting but generate reliable and accurate output at the same time. Work practice conducted in Otak-otak Regata was carried out for 1 (one) semester from September 2021 to December 2021. The initial stage carried out in this activity is the collection of information about business flow and problems faced by MSMEs through interviews and observations. The collected information is then compiled into master data for the system to be designed using Microsoft Access. The result show that the designed system can generate an accurate reports through transactions that the owner of the Otak-otak Regata input into the system’s form. Further researchers are recommended to be able to properly understand the characteristics of the community service practice object used from the early stages of the activity so that the output of the activity is in accordance with what is needed
