Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

Abstract

Devotion to society is carried out in order to provide support to SMEs that have common problems in their operation, namely the Primadona Shop located in Batam City. The obstacle that occurs is that the Primadona Shop has been operating for 18 years, but so far, the recording is still using the manual method, so it is less efficient and effective because it does not have accurate financial reports. The method of collecting data in this study uses methods such as field observations, interviews and documentation. In this practical work, the recording system uses Microsoft Access software. This system is able to produce several functions to record purchases, sales, cash receipts and cash disbursements. In addition, this system can generate reports in the form of sales reports, purchase reports, inventory reports, income statements and balance reports. The system designed is expected to help Primadona Stores in more accurate and effective accounting records to record and report transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations and can assist the person in charge of the company in making decisions so that the company can develop in the future.

Abstract

Waste management in Batam City is an important aspect that must be monitored carefully because it is closely related to environmental sanitation and order. For Batam city, regulations regarding waste management are regulated in Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2013 concerning Waste Management in Batam City. In this article, the author will explain how the implementation of this Regional Regulation in Batam City is related to the handling of illegal landfills (TPS) which of course causing a negative impact on the environment and also the appropriate penalty to countermeasures this problem. In this article, the method used by the author is the implementation method as for the stages, namely: The initial stage is preparation of PKM to agencies regarding the application for PKM permits and permission to conduct research related to the title chosen. The next stage will be observation and identification of the subject matter and carry out data collection to be analyzed at the Batam City Environmental Service. The author makes a project output design based on the practical workplace conditions. The last stage in this is the author processes the data that has been obtained and makes a PKM report. Then the author also designs the output which is the result of the practical work.

Abstract

Dalam proyek terjadi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor namun faktor utamanya yaitu disebabkan oleh wabah yang sedang mendunia Corona Virus Disesase (COVID-19). Tentunya dalam proses pelaksanaan terdapat sejumlah kendala yang terjadi berkaitan antara satu dan lainnya dan mengakibatkan pekerjaan yang lainnya ikut terganggu atau tertunda. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada 1 April 2020 hingga 1 Juli 2020. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode deskriptif, observasi, interview, dan instrumen. Analisa ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kendala Proyek Peningkatan Jalan Simpang Marina - Simpang Base Camp Kota Batam. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang menghambat penyelesaian proyek adalah faktor cuaca, keterlambatan biaya, pembatasan pekerja (Social Distancing), penghentian proses barang dan jasa yang disebabkan oleh turunnya surat edaran pemerintah.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to create a useful accounting record system using the Microsoft Access application. This accounting record system will be implemented in an electronic goods trading business called Nakayama which has been established since 1994. Based on the information obtained, Nakayama is still recording all transactions that occur into his own record book manually and does not yet have an adequate accounting recording system. The method of this activity includes observation, interviews, and accounting system design using MS Access. The end result of this community service activities is a well-designed accounting system that helped the owner in making financial decisions for the future, which includes but not limited to generating financial statements, stock records, sales records, and purchase records.

Abstract

Pencatatan terhadap persediaan barang dagang yang dilakukan oleh salah satu UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah) di Belakang Padang yaitu Union Jaya masih sangat sederhana yaitu secara manual menggunakan nota dan buku. Sehingga toko Union Jaya belum dapat menyajikan suatu laporan pada periode tertentu dan tidak mampu mengambil keputusan dengan baik untuk perusahaan. Maka kerja praktik ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam sistem pencatatan persediaan pada toko tersebut. Perancangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan program Visual Studio Code dan disusun sesuai dengan pedoman yang sudah ditentukan. Hasil luaran dari proyek ini berupa formulir pembelian, formulir penjualan, daftar persediaan barang, laporan pembelian, laporan penjualan dan laporan persediaan barang. Perancangan sistem pencatatan persediaan yang sesuai keperluan oleh Union Jaya telah diimplementasikan dengan baik. Pada saat ini pengguna telah mampu menginput transaksi-transaksi yang terjadi dan menghasilkan laporan persediaan perusahaan yang lebih akurat dan lebih mudah dimengerti. Laporan persediaan yang dihasilkan mampu membantu pemilik untuk mengambil keputusan bisnis kedepannya dan bagi PkM selanjutnya diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi yang lebih menarik dan pastinya bermanfaat untuk UMKM lainnya.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan strategi promotion mix pada Toko Servanda Batam. Metodologi dalam kegiatan ini meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap penilaian dan pelaporan dalam perancangan dan implementasi program bauran pemasaran. Hasil implementasi strategi yang telah dilakukan selama bulan Agustus 2020 sampai dengan Januari 2021 didapatkan hasil bahwa mitra mengalami kenaikan penjualan melebihi 10% dan mendapatkan pelanggan- pelanggan baru dari berbagai wilayah. Strategi promotion mix ini dapat digunakan dalam jangka panjang oleh mitra dengan menerapkan strategi tersebut secara konsisten dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The law changes following developments that occur in the community, this is done so that the applicable law can prevent problems from arising and overcome problems that occur in the community. As with Law no. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower which was revised through the Omnibus Law on Job Creation (Law No. 11 of 2020). The Manpower Act is a regulation that regulates all matters concerning employers and employees. The Employment Creation Law changes, adds and deletes several articles contained in the Manpower Act which are deemed necessary for renewal. However, the enactment of the Job Creation Law has sparked public controversy because it is considered inefficient and detrimental to employees. The method used in this research is a lecture which is then processed into a qualitative form. Data was collected by means of observation and interviews through questionnaires. This legal counseling aims to inform the Job Creation Act and the rights and obligations of employees and so that the public, especially employees, understand more about the applicable laws regarding emploment.

Abstract

Kegiatan kerja praktik ini memiliki tujuan untuk melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa perancangan sistem pencatatan akuntansi pada PT. Epasar Pelayanan Utama. PT. Epasar Pelayanan Utama sebagai golongan dari usaha mikro makro diperkenankan untuk melakukan pencatatan akuntansi dan penyusunan laporan terhadap aktivitas perusahaaan. Laporan yang disusun oleh PT. Epasar Pelayanan Utama bersifat manual sehingga laporan yang disusun memerlukan waktu yang lebih banyak. Kerja praktik ini dilakukan dalam jangka waktu 5 bulan yaitu dari bulan September 2020 hingga Januari 2021. Data yang dikumpulkan bersifat data primer dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh informasi yang akurat. Data tersebut dikumpulkan untuk membantu kegiatan perancangan sistem pencatatan akuntansi. Luaran dari kegiatan kerja praktik ini berupa sistem pencatatan akuntansi dalam software Microsoft Access. Sistem yang dirancang terdapat form pembelian, penjualan, pembayaran utang, penerimaan piutang, jurnal, serta laporan seperti laporan laba rugi, posisi keuangan, pembelian, penjualan, utang, dan piutang. Sistem yang telah dirancang dan implementasi pada PT. Epasar Pelayanan Utama dapat membantu pemilik dalam melakukan pencatatan transaksi akuntansi dan menghasilkan laporan yang akurat sebagai patokan dalam pengambilan keputusan

Abstract

The system design is made to facilitate the recording transaction process at Paradise Homestay. Paradise Homestay is a business engaged in the hospitality sector which is located in Batam City. The accounting system at Paradise Homestay is done manually using Microsoft Excel, so that monthly reports must also be inputted manually which will take time to prepare. The survey method was carried out at business locations with criteria according to the requirements and the interview method was carried out with business representatives for their availability to contribute to the implementation of community service as well as interviews around the business. Paradise Homestay will benefit in the form of a more effective and efficient accounting recording system. Then, it is also beneficial by helping save companies time and costs, minimize errors, and improve asset management and inventory management. Managers will also be assisted in making decisions with accurate reports. Recommendations that can be made for further community service in helping micro-enterprises, such as helping to explain knowledge about how to operate a business both in management and finance.

Abstract

Laporan kerja praktek ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang sebuah usaha snack yang biasanya di minati banyak orang. Bahkan dari kalangan anak-anak sampai orang dewasa yang berada di wilayah kota Batam yang sehingga dari bulan kebulan tahun ke tahun peminatnya semakin ramai. Kegiatan kerja praktek ini berlangsung langkah pertama yang di ambil oleh penulis adalah observasi dan wawancara kepada pihak pemilik mengenai masalah apa yang terjadi dan upaya yang dilakukan pihak pemilik sudah atau belum. Dan kemudian penulis merancang sistem dalam bentuk pelatihan kerja untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada usaha terutama karyawan promosi yang ada. Hasil dari kerja praktek ini adalah menerapkan sistem yang sangat membantu manajemen usaha serta mendapatkan pihak penyalur
