Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

Abstract

Tujuan dari diterapkannya promosi pada Rumah Makan Khas Kalimantan 889 adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara mempromosikan dan mempunyai berbagai macam promosi yang dapat diterapkan Rumah Makan Khas Kalimantan 889. Dalam penulisan laporan kerja berikut, teori promotion mix diterapkan dalam mempromosikan dan mengiklankan produk yang ditawarkan oleh perusahaan. Promotion mix merupakan suatu strategi yang bermanfaat dan peran yang penting dalam membantu Rumah Makan Khas Kalimantan 889 untuk bersaing dengan mitra lainnya yang ada di Kota Batam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menerapkan berbagai strategi bauran promosi yang dapat menyelesaikan masalah Rumah Makan Khas Kalimantan 889 selama tiga bulan. Metode yang dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan informasi pada laporan berikut adalah observasi, wawancara dan perancangan strategi langsung yang dilakukan secara langsung kepada pemilik usaha tersebut. Hasil dari kesimpulan penelitian tersebut, dapat dinyatakan bahwa perlunya Rumah Makan Khas Kalimantan 889 meningkatkan bauran promosi yang sudah ada dengan tujuan untuk menumbuhkan pendapatan penjualan dan lebih bisa bersaing kepada dengan mitra lain.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic and a lack of knowledge regards to marketing strategies can hinder business growth. Therefore, it is necessary to create a marketing strategy by utilizing technological advances in developing a business to reach wider consumers and increase sales. The method used in Community Service (PkM) activity was starting from the preparation stage, that is surveying the field to conduct observations and interviews. Community Service (PkM) activity was conducted at the Catfish MSME, Lele Hutauruk (LeHu) with aims to assist in creating digital-based marketing strategies by promoting businesses using advertisements. Advertisement in the form of images through WhatsApp and online sales with a website-based delivery order system. The results of the Community Service (PkM) activities at Lele Hutauruk (LeHu) are E-marketplace website as an online store that sells Catfish, advertisement using images for promotion through social media, and material modules on marketing strategies. The implementation of the output has succeeded in increasing sales by 5%.

Abstract

Golden Hardware merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang memiliki spesialis dibidang pemasok perlengkapan baut dan mur di Kota Batam. Dalam usia yang relatif muda, PT. Golden Hardware telah menjadi satu diantara supplier besar di bidang usaha baut dan mur di Kota Batam setelah beroperasi selama 11 tahun (sebelas tahun). Pemasokan bahan baut dan mur yang dimasok oleh PT. Golden Hardware guna memenuhi kebutuhan Industri, Engineering maupun Shipyard. Selama 11 tahun (sebelas tahun) sejak pendirian, departemen human resource baru ada sejak tahun awal tahun ini yakni 2020 sehingga PT. Golden Hardware Batam selama ini hanya menjalin hubungan antar karyawan dan perusahaan tidak dengan suatu perjanjian kerja yang sah melainkan hanya diikat dengan surat pengangkatan terhadap karyawan yang dipekerjakan oleh perusahaan.Dalam penyusunan laporan hasil kerja praktik, terdapat metodologi penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis yakni yuridis empiris. Dimana secara yuridis yakni dengan menyusun laporan kerja praktik ini beralaskan pada materi-materi hukum serta norma yang telah ada dalam lingkungan masyarakat sedangkan empiris sendiri memiliki pemahaman yakni dengan menyusun laporan kerja praktik ini beralaskan pada tiap-tiap kenyataan baik secara sosial maupun budaya yang ada pada lingkungan masyarakat. Dalam periode kerja praktik yang dilakukan oleh penulis selama sekitar 3 (tiga) bulan ini dapat diketahui bahwa pengetahuan baik dari pihak PT. Golden Hardware Batam maupun pekerja sendiri tentang ketenagakerjaan sangat minim. Mengenai hubungan kerja dalam Sehingga pada kesempatan ini penulis memutuskan untuk merancang suatu perjanjian kerja yang sifatnya PKWTT beralaskan pada Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2013 tentang Ketenagakerjaan.

Abstract

Following the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 3 of 2020, Universitas Internasional Batam implements the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy. This community service project implemented MBKM policy. A team consisting of a student and a lecturer from the Undergraduate Program in Accounting conducted this project. Team members helped SMEs in Batam reviewed and improved their financial statements and calculated their annual corporate income tax. We implemented this project jointly with PT Anugerah Manajemen Abadi during the period of August to December 2022. PT Anugerah Manajemen Abadi introduced us to four SMEs with limited knowledge and human resources who needed help understanding tax regulations. Those SMEs are engaged in onion trading, machinery, freight forwarding, and housing development. The Team analyzed the financial reports presented by SMEs and adjusted them according to tax regulations (Government Regulation of The Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2021 about general provisions and tax procedures). Adjustments were made, among others, to expenses related to "3M" (earning, collecting, and maintaining income) by fiscal reconciliation. Based on the adjusted financial reports, the Team calculated the 2022 corporate income tax expense (PPh article 29). Moreover, the Team provided SMEs with assistance in clarifying the results of their tax reporting to the tax office, including if the tax officer required additional explanations. As a result, four SMEs, which are lacking in human resources and knowledge of taxation, can receive assistance in calculating their corporate tax expenses.

Abstract

The implementation of the activity of making digital teaching materials has the aim of being able to help the community, especially schools, to get alternative sources of digital learning that can be used especially during this pandemic. Patria Dharma Vocational Private High School is the object of this digital teaching material creation activity. This activity uses several data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The process of designing this digital material, it goes through many processes consisting of meetings with the school to discuss the subjects that need assistance, the process of finding material that is under the curriculum and competencies that must be achieved, consultation with the teacher on the material being sought has met the standards of the school, a compilation of PPT using Microsoft PowerPoint 2019 tools, making learning videos in the form of animated videos using Animaker tools and finally the output produced is sent to the supervisor for evaluation. The resulting output has a very big impact that can be felt by the school, such as teachers who teach Basic Accounting subjects that feel helped because with this digital teaching material it can make students get the opportunity to learn independently, students enjoy the process more learning and become more focused because of the teaching materials made in the form of interesting, animated videos. Suggestions are given for the making of digital teaching materials in the future that can be made in various language versions, such as in English, and case studies should be carried out to deepen the information needed to create better teaching materials in the future.

Abstract

Koperasi Bintang Maru Usaha Bersama merupakan salah satu perusahaan di Batam yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa pembongkaran muatan dan mengandalkan tenaga kerja harian lepas untuk melakukan pekerjaannya. Berdasarkan hasil dari observasi di lapangan dan wawancara dengan pengurus perusahaan, Koperasi Bintang Maru Usaha Bersama saat ini hanya menggunakan sistem perekrutan pekerja harian lepas secara lisan sehingga hal ini mengakibatkan timbulnya resiko pekerja harian meninggalkan proyek sewaktu-waktu tanpa pemberitahuan yang disyaratkan, kelebihan pembayaran biaya lembur yang diakibatkan oleh tiadanya ketentuan upah yang teratur, dan terjadinya keterlambatan pengerjaan proyek yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya personel. Dari paparan masalah yang diuraikan tersebut, penulis bertujuan untuk merancang surat perjanjian kerja perusahaan dengan pekerja harian lepas dengan harapan dapat membantu Koperasi Bintang Maru Usaha Bersama meminimalisir resiko kerugian dan timbulnya konflik hubungan industrial dengan pekerja harian lepas.

Abstract

This community service program has the aim of increasing sales, reaching a wider range sales market, and allowing new customer entrants via promotion through digital media given e-catalogue. With the globalized era and progressive rate in technology has led citizens to be active in using the internet. Partners in community service are the As Cellular engaging in an online shop of the smartphone business located in Orchard Park Cluster Citrus 3 No.08, Batam, Kepulauan Riau. The method used to compile data is through interview and observation. The results of the interviews and observations will be summarized in the form of documents so that they can be used as memos in making and implementing the system to be carried out.

Abstract

Yudi Tas Grosir is an online trading business that sells imported bags by live streaming on social media. Yudi Tas Grosir has been established two years, and during that time the business calculates profit and loss by recording total expenses and total incomes. The business doesn’t have a proper accounting recording system. This causes the information obtained from manual recording is inaccurate and less efficient. Based on this problem, the author intends to take a role in social engagement by creating a computerization accounting recording system that is expected to be reliable by the business owners to carry out the good and proper operational accounting records so that the business owner can get all the financial information accurately. Therefore, the author will explore, study, and find the right solution to all problems. In tracing business problems, the author will directly visit business owners, gather business information by conducting interviews with owners,s and monitoring business operational activities. Reports generated from the designed system are the income statement, statement of financial position, account payable, and receivable reports. This accounting system is expected to bring significant changes to the business owner.

Abstract

Salah satu cara yang dilakukan produsen untuk meningkatkan penjualan adalah melalui kegiatan promosi. Kegiatan promosi biasanya digunakan oleh perusahaan yang bernama bauran promosi. Bauran promosi terdiri dari beberapa kegiatan seperti periklanan, penjualan langsung, promosi penjualan, dan publisitas. Dalam rangka menjalankan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat melalui kegiatan kerja praktek, maka penulis merancang sebuah cara untuk dapat lebih memperkenalkan usaha melalui bauran promosi. Bauran promosi ini merupakan cara melakukan kegiatan untuk lebih mengenalkan pada pelanggan dan mendorong pelanggan untuk membeli dan menggunakan produk-produk yang dipasarkan. Dengan program kerjasama dengan mitra usaha untuk menerapkan bauran promosi ini, mitra usaha mendapatkan manfaat dengan peningkatak kualitas usaha. Semakin banyak pelanggan yang mengetahui tentang kebradaan mitra usaha yang dalam ini mampu mendorong pelanggan untuk menjadi pelanggan setuia dan juga mendapatkan pelanggan baru yang sebelumnya belum pernah membeli produk pada mitra usaha.

Abstract

To run a company, of course you need rules to ensure legal certainty and justice in a company.Company regulations have an important role in a company, where the purpose of the existence of company regulations is to ensure a balance of rights and obligations of each party, as a guide for the parties (employers and workers) to carry out their obligations, ensure justice for the parties, improve welfare workers, as well as creating a harmonious relationship between the parties.The method used in the implementation of this practical work is the empirical method, where the authors make direct observations to obtain the necessary data.
