Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

Abstract

Galaxy Motor terklasifikasi sebagai Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dimana tidak memiliki sistem pembukuan akuntansi secara terkomputerisasi. Sebaliknya, Galaxy Motor hanya menggunakan pencatatan manual yang bahkan bukan pembukuan akuntansi yang lengkap. Akibatnya, informasi keuangan tidak menjadi relevan dan faithfull representation. Kami melalui program pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan merancang dan menyusun sistem pembukuan akuntansi berbasis komputer dengan menggunakan microsoft access versi 2013. Wawancara mendalam kepada pemilik Galaxy Motor, observasi dan dokumentasi lapangan telah dilakukan. Sistem pembukuan akuntansi yang dihasilkan meliputi daftar akun, daftar utang usaha, daftar piutang usaha, daftar persediaan, form jurnal umum, form pembelian barang, form penjualan barang, form pembayaran pemasok, form penerimaan pelanggan, form database-data barang, data pelanggan, input akun baru, dan data pemasok. Khusus laporan keuangan, sistem akuntansi meliputi laporan laba rugi, laporan perubahan modal, laporan posisi keuangan, dan laporan arus kas yang dihasilkan. Seluruh sistem pembukuan akuntansi tersebut saling terhubung dan menjadi relational database. Dengan demikian, sistem pembukuan ini selain diimplementasikan oleh Galaxy Motor, maka berpotensi untuk diadopsi oleh usaha UMKM lain.

Abstract

Health is a primary human need that must be met to obtain prosperity. Unfortunately, many people do not have access to adequate health services in their area. This prompted the government to establish a National Social Security System in 2000. PT Tribara Indo Marinatama is a company located in Batam. However, in carrying out its operational activities, the company does not provide social security facilities to its employees. Because the company does not provide adequate BPJS for its employees, they cannot carry out their work safely and comfortably. This is the obligation of every company in Batam City. One of the obligations of employers is to guarantee occupational safety and health. Participation in the National Health Insurance Program is described in Presidential Regulation no. 12 of 2013 concerning Health Insurance, which was later revised in the explanation in Presidential Regulation Number 111 of 2013. As part of its obligations, employers must also participate in the National Health Insurance program. This program is carried out in stages starting January 1, 2014 until no later than January 1, 2019 to cover the entire population in Indonesia.

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has affected and changed almost all people's lifestyles between the sectors affected from the economy and tourism where’s coffee shops is include too. Even when conditions are severe, the government requires owners to temporarily close their businesses for a certain period at a time. So every business must find alternatives and adapt to this pandemic situation, one of the way is digital marketing, where entrepreneurs can communicate indirectly with potential customers and regular customers through social media, besides that, using the right language and attractive promotions will be one of the added values to attract consumers attention. This development will helps in increasing social media interactions such as building a good image & awareness in the eyes of customers, expanding the reach of customers, increasing income and customer satisfaction with reducing the distribution or promotion costs. The result of this implementation are expected to be a solution to Cincai Cafe and Coffee business operation.

Abstract

Teaching materials play an important role for teachers in learning process with students in schools, one of which is the Batam Business School Vocational High School. The lack of modification of teaching materials and less updated reference sources in Financial Accounting class XI odd semester is a problem that is being faced by Batam Business School Vocational High School in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic in using online learning models. This learning model utilizes available technology and applications so that the world of education can continue. The methods used to solve this problem are the interview method and the documentation method. The output of this activity, there are ten files of powerpoint and three learning videos that can be accessed on Youtube that related to material on credit sales transactions, installment sales, and drafts, accounts receivable, the method of eliminating uncollectible accounts receivable, notes receivable, accounts receivable card, accounts payable short term, accounts payable card, inventory, inventory valuation methods, and cost of goods manufactured. The results achieved from this activity are the Financial Accounting subject teacher at SMK Batam Business School felt helped in the preparation of odd semester teaching materials that would be used in the learning process with XI grade students and in accordance with the basic competencies applied in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to design a recording system and financial reports at Leebra Laundry with functions according to company needs. Data collection methods used are through observation and interviews, both directly and indirectly with business owners to find out the problems that arise at the Leebra Laundry. In this study, Leebra Laundry has problems with the recording system and business financial reports. Leebra Laundry still uses a manual recording system in books. The recording is only limited to income and expenditure transactions. Therefore, the author wants to carry out the practical work at Leebra Laundry by designing a system of recording and financial reports based on a website system. The making of this system uses existing lateral framework-free templates and is tailored to the needs of Lebra Laundry. In the implementation of this practical work, the owner can use the accounting system developed by using the website to reduce errors in recording transactions and provide the financial information needed. The next practical work recommendation is to make the best use of a computerized system, especially in the field of accounting, in order to produce better financial reports than the existing ones and also to add other financial reports that the authors have not made.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the determination of the Batam District Court Number 245/Pdt.P/2021/PN.BTM regarding the guardianship of minors in buying and selling houses carried out by the heirs. The problem used in writing this article is about the implementation and accountability of guardianship in buying and selling houses due to inheritance, the judge's basic considerations in determining the guardianship of minors in the process of buying and selling houses because it is to finance the life and education of the applicant's child. The research method used by the author in this study is an empirical juridical approach, this juridical approach is carried out to examine various laws and regulations related to the determination of child guardianship on the responsibility of parents in buying and selling houses due to inheritance. An empirical approach is carried out to see the implementation of parents representing minors for legal actions inside and outside the court

Abstract

Toko Spotlesstep.Id merupakan usaha yang bergerak dalam jasa perawatan sepatu. Toko Spotlesstep.Id menawarkan jasa mencuci sepatu, melakukan pengecatan ulang pada warna sepatu yang sudah pudar, dan lain sebagainya. Toko Spotlesstep.Id masih menggunakan pencatatan secara manual dan mengalami kendala dalam pembuatan laporan keuangan. Tujuan pelaksanaan PkM ini untuk membantu Toko Spotlesstep.Id dalam menyelesaikan masalahnya terutama dalam pencatatan akuntansi dan pembuatan laporan keuangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dan informasi yaitu menggunakan metode wawancara dan melakukan pengamatan secara langsung dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh informasi yang berhubungan pada aktivitas usaha toko tersebut. Sistem yang dirancang merupakan sistem yang sederhana, praktis, dan mudah dipahami sesuai kebutuhan aktivitas usaha dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Hasil dari pelaksanaan PkM yang dilakukan adalah terciptanya sebuah sistem yang bersifat praktis dan mudah dipahami yang dapat membantu pencatatan transaksi akuntansi dan membuat laporan keuangan berdasarkan standar akuntansi yang berlaku pada Toko Spotlesstep.Id. Direkomendasikan terhadap pelaksana PkM selanjutnya untuk dapat mengimplementasikan ilmu pengetahuan serta kreativitas yang dimiliki kepada mitra PkM dengan membuat sistem yang diaplikasikan pada mitra PkM.

Abstract

In particular, industrial developments that contradict labor qualifications in administration and tourism have increased the demand for labor in these fields. Realizing this, in 2005, the Batam City Government took proactive measures to develop human resources in Batam City by holding a Vocational High School program located in Batam Center; Batam 2 State Vocational School was still using the online learning system due to the rampant virus disturbance, namely COVID 19. Data is a series of reports, figures, objects, symbols, & descriptions collected from various sources. Data collection makes an excellent decision to serve as an information bridge for launching new products if it is in the marketing realm. In practice, there is also a preference for collecting data using an online communication message called WhatsApp and using the exclusive interview method to become a mediator between the author and Ms. Herlina. This implementation has increased the interest of Batam 2 SMK Negeri 2 students in packaging tourism learning media products regarding transfer in, transfer out, and the transfer process. The results of this study are in the form of making learning media at SMK Negeri 2 Batam in the vocational tourism sector; several animations need to be repaired again using the MDLC stages contained in the testing section.

Abstract

Penelitian pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diterapkan dalam tujuan mengembangkan usaha toko dengan mencarikan solusi, mengatur strategi pada usaha tersebut dan memperbaharui strategi promosi yang telah diterapkan oleh Toko Diah Brand Shoes, serta menyempurnakan dengan menerapkan strategi pada sistem promosi sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman saat ini. Beberapa data sebagai acuan saat menyusun laporan pengabdian kepada masyarakat didapatkan melalui metode pengawasan dan wawancara serta merancang strategi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan. Pemilik Toko Diah Brand Shoes menjelaskan bahwa Toko tersebut kurang memfokuskan diri dalam media sosial sebagai alat bantu penjualan dalam Toko mereka. Dengan adanya market media sosial dengan jaringan internet pemilik bisa dengan mudah memasarkan produk mereka memperluas penjualan serta melakukan promosi dan endorsement melalui media sosial. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bisa meningkatkan jumlah pelanggan di Toko Diah Brand Shoes dan omset penjualan bulanan. Dengan ini peneliti menyarankan kepada Pemilik Toko terus melakukan promosi produk atau menerapkan sistem strategi online secara konsisten dan terus mengikuti perbaharuan perkembangan dengan tujuan dapat meningkatkan keuntungan.

Abstract

Tang is a micro, small and medium enterprise that sells sago flour and tapioca flour. Recording transactions at UD. Tang is still done manually, recorded in the book owned by the business owner so the owner will find it challenging to know the profit or loss and the development of the business, especially in financial terms. This community service activity aims to establish a system that can produce financial reports that help the owner develop their businesses. The data collection method used in this community service activity is by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. The result of this community service activity is forms and reports that will help the owner record transactions and produce accurate financial reports. After implementing the system, the business owner does not need to record transactions manually anymore and can find out the condition of the company by viewing reports that the system can generate.
