Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

Abstract

PT Sinar Makmur Terang Sejati is a business engaged in finance, namely foreign exchange (forex) which consists of various currencies such as SGD, MYR, USD, and others. PT Sinar Makmur Terang Sejati is located in Komp. Bumi Indah Blok B no 5 and has been established since 2017. The company's financial records have so far been done manually, which may lead to an inefficiency and error proneness. This project aims to solve the problems faced by PT Sinar Makmur Terang Sejati.The method used in this community service activity is scrutinizing qualitative information through interviews and observations. Next, an output design is carried out based on the transaction book. The main output of this activity is a Google Sheet-based financial report that shows a statement of financial position, ending balance and income statement.This community service activity is divided into three main stages, namely preparation (output design), implementation and evaluation (output use) and reporting stage. The implementation of recording financial transactions using Google Sheets in knowing the financial position, ending balance and profit and loss is proven to be able to speed up and simplify the decision-making process for the business run by PT Sinar Makmur. This is also very helpful for management in knowing what foreign exchange balances they have and being able to make transactions as quickly as possible.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak sangat besar terhadap segala segi kehidupan manusia terutama dari segi pendidikan. Adanya pandemi ini merubah cara pembelajaran di sekolah menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh dari rumah, salah satunya yang terjadi di sekolah SMK Negeri 2 Batam. Hal ini terjadi sehingga memerlukan adanya penyesuaian bahan ajar berupa digital dan cara mengajar agar dapat mempertahankan bahkan meningkatkan keefektifan proses belajar mengajar secara daring. Oleh karena itu, projek ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk melakukan penyusunan bahan ajar digital interaktif, khususnya mata pelajaran komputerisasi akuntansi pada sekolah SMK Negeri 2 Batam. Selama penyusunan bahan ajar, semua informasi di dapat dengan cara wawancara dengan guru dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari projek ini berupa modul digital PDF, bahan presentasi PPT, dan video singkat penjelasan materi komputerisasi akuntansi. Terakhir, besar harapan dan rekomendasi terhadap penelitian selanjutnya adalah dapat merancang suatu sistem yang berisi materi bahan ajar untuk semua mata pelajaran sehingga dapat diakses secara daring bagi para siswa dan guru serta dapat menambahkan soal latihan bagi para siswa untuk belajar mandiri di rumah.

Abstract

This study aims to integrate ICT media in teaching and learning activities. The participants of the study were 44 students from 11th grade of social sciences and 1 English teacher at Public Senior High School 16 in Batam. This research uses convenience sampling. This study used two research instruments, namely questionnaires and interviews. The students' need analysis questionnaire in the form of Google Form was distributed face to face in the class through their WhatsApp group. The Likert scale used in this needs analysis questionnaire. the interview session conducted through Zoom and the result was in the form and has been transcribed. The collected data can then be used to design lesson plans and integrate technologies into teaching media while considering students' needs. Furthermore, integration of ICT in learning is carried out to determine whether ICT implementation can enhance students' interest in studying English or not.

Abstract

Seiring perkembangan zaman, pemanfaatan pemasaran digital untuk bisnis adalah hal yang lumrah dilakukan, akan tetapi masih banyak juga pebisnis yang masih belum maksimal dalam memanfaatkan pemasaran secara digital, kebanyakan dari mereka masih menggunakan cara konvensional. Tujuan penulis dari penelitian ini adalah membuat rancangan pemasaran digital untuk RM. Liang Kee Seafood 888. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melakukan wawancara, observasi dan juga dokumentasi untuk mempelajari kendala yang sedang dihadapi pemilik usaha. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kerja praktek ini adalah implementasi rancangan pemasaran digital yang telah dibuat mencakup Google My Business, Facebook Fanpage, Instagram Business Account, Tripadvisor, e-catalogue, e-brochure, dan e-banner. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya agar hasil penelitian dapat dikembangkan lagi dan dijadikan referensi untuk perbandingan dengan penelitian ini.

Abstract

Koperasi Karyawan Kusuma has been running its business for 17 years. Over time, Koperasi Kusuma expanded its business by increasing the number of services provided. Therefore, it is necessary to have an adequate accounting record system to record the number of transactions that occur. Koperasi Kusuma's operational activities have been going well by carrying out the necessary transactions to support business activities. However, this cooperative transaction recording system is carried out manually, namely recording on books and applications Microsoft Excel. By maintaining a financial recording system like this when the business is growing, the process of recording transactions and making financial reports will be longer, more complicated, and there are still some transactions that are missed to be recorded. With a slight error in financial records, the financial statements that will be produced will not be balanced. The worker doing the record keeping will need extra time to correct the imbalance. The purpose of this activity is to help overcome the obstacles of accounting records in Koperasi Kusuma SMEs by designing an accounting recording system. The stages of implementing this practical work are through interviews and observations in collecting information, designing a recording system made by the author, conducting system simulations with the previous year's cooperative financial data, and implementing the system on MSMEs. The result of this practical work activity is a simple accounting record system that can produce financial reports and can be used for future decision making.

Abstract

PT. Mes Machinery Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur alat-alat berat yaitu crane. Tahap pemeriksaan kualitas produk dilakukan dengan teliti dan secara kontinyu, namun pemasukan data masih dilakukan secara manual dengan menggunakan hardcopy sehingga menghabiskan waktu yang lebih banyak. Untuk mengefisienkan waktu dan mengurangi pemakaian kertas dan penyimpanan data berlebihan, maka dilakukan perancangan format pelaporan hasil inspeksi berbasis aplikasi desktop. Aplikasi yang hanya dapat diakses oleh karyawan di departemen Quality Assurance / Quality Control. Desain tersebut dirancang menggunakan Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 dengan bahasa Visual Basic, Microsoft Access sebagai database penyimpanan lokal hasil inspeksi, dan Microsoft Excel sebagai output data laporan hasil inspeksi.

Abstract

Putra Solo Petshop is one of the businesses engaged in trade and the location of this shop at Ruko Aladin Blok B No 1 Cikitsu, Batam Centre. Putra Solo Petshop has been chosen as a partner in carrying out a Community Service activity. Recording activities carried out by Putra Solo Petshop use a manual accounting recording system, namely by writing all transactions in a book. The recording process is still not neat and clear. This can lead to inefficient and inaccurate recording results. In addition, the existence of transactions that are missed or not recorded by the owner will cause the owner to not clearly know the profit generated. Therefore, the solution that can be done in dealing with these problems is to design an accurate accounting system using the Microsoft Office Access system. The method used in this activity is observation and direct interviews with partners. the results of the interviews that have been conducted, the author can find out some store information and current store conditions. The owner has also approved the author's request to help his business by designing a financial reporting system. The purpose of this community service activity is to design a Microsoft Access system that can produce accurate financial reports. The system that has been created is able to provide all the information that can facilitate business owners in making business decisions.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan peneliti melakukan praktik kerja di WB Laundry yakni merancang sistem pencatatan akuntansi guna membantu dan mempermudah pencatatan transaksi harian pada WB Laundry. Sebelumnya WB Laundry tidak pernah melakukan pencatatan mengunakan sistem namun hanya dengan cara menginput kedalam microsoft excel serta melakukan prediksi perhitungan laba rugi berdasarkan hasil penjualan yang telah diinput kedalam microsoft excel secara manual. Oleh sebab itu peneliti membantu merancang sistem yang sederhana dan mudah yang dinilai cocok untuk diterapkan dalam sistem pembukuan di WB Laundry sehingga dapat digunakan oleh WB Laundry untuk menghasilkan pencatatan akutansi yang baik dan benar. Peneliti melakukan praktik kerja lapangan di WB Laundry dari bulan Agustus 2020 hingga Oktober 2020. Hal pertama yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dalam melaksanakan praktik kerja lapangan adalah melakukan observasi untuk memperoleh informasi yang berkaitan dengan keperluan peneliti dalam melakukan perancangan sistem serta berkoordinasi dengan pemilik mengenai sistem yang diinginkan oleh pemilik usaha, yaitu memasukkan beberapa poin penting pencatatan akutansi dalam sistem yakni daftar nama karyawaan, daftar akun, daftar supplier, daftar asset, pendapatan toko, biaya yang dikeluarkan serta jurnal umum. Hasil output dari kegiatan kerja praktik lapangan yang dilakukan peneliti adalah sistem pencatatan akutansi yang dirancang menggunakan Microsoft Access yang telah diimplementasikan oleh WB Laundry dimana sistem tersebut dapat menghasilkan berbagai jenis laporan pencatatan akutansi sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemilik toko seperti buku besar, laporan laba rugi dan laporan posisi keuangan. Peneliti memberikan rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya untuk lebih awal dalam penyusunan sistem, dikarenakan perancangan sebuah sistem tidak semudah yang kita pikirkan dan membutuhkan waktu yang sangat lama.

Abstract

Prima Jaya Mandiri Sukses is an MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) that specializes in Air Conditioner, Solar Water Heater, Water Piping, Etc. CV. Prima Jaya Mandiri Sukses still uses an accounting recording which is manually recorded in the recapitulation book. So this raises the risk of accounting records being less accurate and unable to make good decisions for the company in the future. Therefore, this community services aims to design a simple accounting record system using Microsoft Access to overcome the problems of financial recording in the MSMEs. The method used in data collection are interview and observation. This recording system is designed according to the needs of the MSMEs. The designed accounting system has been implemented in CV. Prima Jaya Mandiri Sukses. The system produces reliable and accurate financial reports. Recommendations for the upcoming researchers are to be able to update the accounting system in accordance with the times that occur in the future and make it easier for other MSMEs to record and report financially.

Abstract

Policies in company regulations are important so it is necessary to update the policies in a company regulation. We can notice this when there are reforms in the arrangements in the employment cluster, namely the Omnimbus law or Law no. 11 of 2020 concerning job creation. The renewal of these regulations certainly triggers issues that affect the welfare of workers in a company, starting from the arrangement of wages, severance pay, work agreements for a certain time or a lifetime contract. Some of the problems found when carrying out this practical work activity program are the absence of renewal of policies in a company regulation, so in this case the author thinks he wants to carry out this practical work activity by providing assistance in the preparation of new company regulations and fair for employees in the company.
