Abstract

Externally bonded fiber-resinforced polymer is a common solution for strengthening and rehabilitating the existing structures. However, the concerning also raised a bout the effect of different environment to the durability of FRP composite system and its bonding performance to concrete substrate. In this paper, the deterioration strength of concrete beam strengthened with glass fiber-reinforced polymer (CBF) and glass fiber-reinforced polymer composite laminate (FC) after being exposed with outdoor, under submersion and wet-dry cycle condition with water, sea-liked water and sodium sulfate solution with a duration of 1000h, 2000h, 3000h, 5000h and 10000h were observed. The microscope also used to examine the physical changes of the external and rupture surface of the FC specimens. The results showed that the wet-dry cycle and submersion in water were associated with swelling and cracking of epoxy resin on FC and could shift the failure mechanism of the bonding interface of FRP-concrete. Submersion in sea-liked water and Na2SO4 caused considerable degradation of concrete strength while the GFRP composite seems to protect the concrete substrate from these solubles diffusions. The initiation of the spalling of resin was observed on specimens exposed to these solution.However, the capacity strength of all specimens is still higher than the controlled specimen but decrease gradualy if compare with specimens at the initial exposure duration.

Abstract

Rapid technological advances greatly help daily activity, so many people start using technology in their business. Maestro Jaya shop is one of the MSMEs located in Batam City, the shop owner has problems in producing financial reports either monthly or annually. So in this article, the author implements a system that supports daily activities at the store such as making invoices, payments, and journaling to get financial reports. The author uses the PHP programming language and waterfall as the development method. The final result of this research is a website application that has been used by the shop owner for the shop's daily activities.

Abstract

This study uses a comprehensive analysis to investigate the intricate relationship between video game addiction and romantic relationships among adolescents in Batam City, focusing on the popular mobile game "Mobile Legend: Bang Bang!" Utilizing the quantitative approach using SPSS v26 with regression method. The purpose of this research is the effects of gaming addiction in adolescent romantic partnerships, with data collected from a sample of 200 respondents. The findings unveil a compelling negative behavior association between gaming addiction and romantic relationships, shedding light on the intricate interplay between excessive gaming behavior and the quality of romantic connections in the lives of adolescents. This research significantly contributes to the existing body of knowledge, enhancing our comprehension of the far-reaching impact of video game addiction on the intricate tapestry of adolescent romantic relationships in the specific context of Batam City.

Abstract

Floor slabs are building structural components that have certain dimensions to transmit dead loads and live loads on them to be distributed to the supports. floor slab calculations must be accurate. This study aims to determine the reinforcement of floor slabs in the Solnet Building construction project, Batam City. The results of the analysis show that the floor slab structure using a floor slab thickness of 110 mm with steel reinforcement with a diameter of 10 mm and a distance between iron of 300 mm consisting of two layers is able to withstand a dead load of 4,18 kN/m2 and a live load of 2 kN/m2.

Abstract

Broadly speaking, company profile is a general description of a company that aims to provide a number of detailed information about the company's existence. Therefore, the company profile is considered to be able to increase customer awareness and attract attention. Toko Byzen is a business that sells a variety of kitchen utensils from the Tupperware brands that has been running for about 10 years. However, the media for conveying information about the shop is still in a traditional form such as print media and the information presented there is less detailed. Therefore, it is necessary to design a web-based company profile in order to improve the service of the store. The methodology applied in this research is waterfall method that aims to solve practical problems of the modern world. The final result of the research is in the form of a Web Company Profile that can be used as an asset or image of the store

Abstract

Service quality plays an important role in influencing travel decisions and tourist intentions to visit the same destination, in the future. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing and knowing how the influence of the service quality variable on the intention to revisit with the mediating variable word of mouth and visitor satisfaction. The dependent variable of this study is the intention to visit again. The independent variable of this research is service quality, the mediating variable of this research is word of mouth and visitor satisfaction. The research method used is quantitative in nature, on the grounds that research on the effect of quality on satisfaction, return intention and service requires data in numerical form to build hypotheses that are related to the phenomenon to be studied and exploration. The sample at the research site is one of the travel agents. in Jambi City, using 200 respondents, and testing data using SPSS. The results showed that the service quality variable had a significant positive relationship on visitor satisfaction. The service quality variable has a positive significant relationship on word of mouth, the visitor satisfaction variable has a positive significant relationship on word of mouth, the service quality variable has a positive significant relationship on the intention to return, the visitor satisfaction variable has a positive significant relationship on the intention to return, the word variable of mouth has a significant positive relationship on the revisit intention, the variable of visitor satisfaction is able to mediate the relationship between service quality and revisit intention.

Abstract

The aim of this community service program is to increase way to promote, information, and buy Mini Brown Cheese Cake products by making a company profile website that can also order by using chat. The partners in this program are Mini Brown Cheese Cake, which is a cake shop that mainly sells cheese cake as it’s main product. This cake shop has been founded in 2016 and is located at Ruko Mahkota Raya Blok C No 06, Teluk Tering, Batam City. Besides the shop at Batam City it also has branches in Pekanbaru City, Pontianak City, and Banjarmasin City. The method used in to develop this company profile website is SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Method. This study results show that this website can help reaching new audiences and can also help with the legitimacy of a company.

Abstract

The aim of this community services is to overcome the problem of accounting reports at Chibi Chef Batam. The problem of accounting reports occurs because Chibi Chef Batam do not have any accounting management system, usually Chibi Chef do manual recording so that make the problem arise such as not accurate report and takes a lot of time. The community services were started from November 1, 2020, to January 31, 2021, using interview, observation, and literature study as data collection techniques and using waterfall as software development method. This community services create a web-based accounting management system that can help the Chibi Chef Batam for records every transaction that occur and print accounting reports into soft copy as a format. After the system implementation at Chibi Chef Batam, Chibi Chef can print reports more efficient and accurately. The accounting management system for community services activities in the future are recommended to add archive or attachment for every transaction that recorded in the system as evidence that can help Chibi Chef Batam to validate transaction that occur

Abstract

Business activities can be controlled by the rapid advancement of technology. Therefore with correct information system implementation can help business competitive. This practical project is implemented on Ailisa Collection which is a micro, small, medium enterprise which engages in women’s cosmetics and accessories. The existing problem is Ailisa Collection still use manual recording for sale and purchase transactions and no recording for inventory supply which made the owner have difficulties in finding out the profit or loss and exact amount of stock in inventory which determines decision making. The output from this job training is a web based point of sales system which will help the development of the business. The point of sales system is developed using Sublime Text 3, XAMPP, and Google Chrome with HTML, CSS, PHP as the programming language

Abstract

The leuwikeris dam area was a rural area near the river. The main dam of this project is located in Ancol Village, Cineam District, Tasikmalaya Regency, and West Java Province. Leuwikeris Dam was built by damming the Citanduy river which has upstream rivers in the Cakrabuana mountains and downstream rivers in Cilacap Regency. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of observations, shapes, and configurations of retaining wall structures. Diaphragm wall provides a more minimal seepage effect in other methods such as secant pile. Secant pile has only the same uses but vast area difference. This article tries to give a broad overview of the diaphragma wall of the leuwikeris dam.
