Abstract

This research was motivated by students' low skills in writing narrative essays. One solution to overcome this problem is through the circuit learning model. The aim of this research is to describe the improvement in the ability to write narrative essays through the circuit learning model in class V students at UPT SD Negeri 042 Sungai Agung. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 22 students in class V UPT SD Negeri 042 Sungai Agung. Data collection techniques include observation, tests and documentation. Based on the research results, pre-action students' narrative essay writing skills were 69.45, in cycle I it increased to 74.44 and in cycle II the students' average score was 83.4. The increase in the percentage of students who achieved the KKM in writing narrative essays in the pre-action condition was 32%, cycle I was 68%, and cycle II increased to 82%. Thus, it can be concluded that through the circuit learning model, learning can improve the narrative essay writing skills of class V UPT SD Negeri 042 Sungai Agung students.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low social skills of Class III students at SD Negeri 019 Rokan IV Koto. This research aims to improve students' social skills by using a cooperative script model in Class III learning at SD Negeri 019 Rokan IV Koto. Indicators of social skills are: ability to share, ability to help, ability to follow instructions, ability to express opinions, and ability to accept opinions. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this research were 10 class III students at SD Negeri 019 Rokan IV Koto. The cycle stages in research use planning, implementation, observation and reflection steps. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation techniques. Data analysis techniques use quantitative and qualitative. The research results show that the script cooperative learning model can improve students' social skills. This is shown from the results of observations obtained in cycle I from 10 students, it is known that the social skills of students who fall into the complete category reached 4 students (40%). The results from cycle I to cycle II showed an increase in the social skills of students in the complete category to 8 students (80%). Through the implementation of the cooperative script model, it can improve the social skills of class III students at Sd Negeri 019 Rokan IV Koto

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low initial reading skills of class II students at SD Negeri 012 Rambah Samo. One solution to overcome this problem is to use word card media. The aim of this research is to improve the reading skills of class I students on the theme Myself by using word cards as media. This research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection, and research time carried out from July to September. The subjects of this research were 21 class I students. Collection techniques include documentation, observation and tests. The results of this research concluded that students' initial reading skills with the theme Myself in cycle I were classified as poor with a percentage of student completeness with an average score of 61%. Meanwhile in cycle II there was a good improvement, namely student completion was 85%. Thus it can be concluded that using word card media can improve the initial reading skills of class II students at SD Negeri 012 Rambah Samo.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest of students in writing poetry in Indonesian language learning in the class of SD Negeri 007 Rambah Hilir. One solution to overcome this problem is to use a Think, Talk, Write (TTW) type cooperative model. Thus, the aim of this research is to improve poetry writing skills using the think, talk, write (TTW) type cooperative model in Indonesian language learning for class III elementary school. This research method uses classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles and each cycle is carried out two meetings. This research was carried out at SD Negeri 007 Rambah Hilir with the research subjects being third grade elementary school students. Data collection in this research used observation and documentation techniques. Increasing students' problem solving abilities in Indonesian language subjects from before the action with an average percentage of 51.45% in the poor category, using the think, talk, write (TTW) type cooperative model method ) then there was an increase in cycle I with a percentage of 83.92%, while on average in cycle 2 the ability to improve poetry skills using the think, talk, write (TTW) type cooperative model increased with an average of 100%. So, learning Indonesian to improve poetry writing skills using the think, talk, write (TTW) type cooperative model can improve the writing skills of class III students at SD Negeri 007 Rambah Hilir.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' interest in learning science in class III through the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model at SD Negeri 007 Rokan IV Koto. This research was motivated by the low interest in learning of class III students for the 2023/2024 academic year, consisting of 13 students consisting of 6 male students and 7 female students. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Data collection in this research used instruments in the form of questionnaires, observation sheets on students' learning interests and interview sheets. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that there is an increase in students' interest in learning in science subjects. Before the action, the completeness of students' learning interest results only reached 36.77%. Then in cycle I, meeting 1 increased to 40.38%, in cycle I, meeting 2, it increased to 45.42%, in cycle II, meeting 1, it increased to 56.36%, in cycle II, meeting 2, it increased again to 76.56%. Thus, it can be concluded that using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model can increase elementary school students' interest in learning.

Abstract

This research discusses increasing learning activities using the STAD Cooperative Learning Model for Class III Students at UPT SD Negeri 022 Dua Sepakat. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in student learning activities in class III Thematic Learning at UPT SD Negeri 022 Dua Sepakat by implementing the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) model. This research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were class III students at UPT SD Negeri 022 Dua Sepakat while the object of the research was the Application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) Learning Model. To increase student learning activities in thematic learning. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions or verification. The research results show that the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) learning model can increase student learning activities in the learning process. The increase in student learning activities can be measured from the evaluation of cycle I and cycle II. Student activity in cycle I was 56% in the 'quite active' category and student activity in cycle II was 92% in the 'very active' category. Thus, the research results at UPT SD Negeri 022 Dua Sepakat have been achieved well.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low speaking skills of students in thematic learning in class V UPT SD Negeri 009 Kebun Tinggi. One solution to overcome this problem is to use image media. This research aims to determine the improvement of students' speaking skills using image media in class V students at UPT SD Negeri 009 Kebun Tinggi. This research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, reflecting, and when the research was carried out in January 2024. The research subjects were 5 class V students, with 2 males and 2 female students. totaling 3 students. Data collection techniques include documentation, observation and tests. The results of this research can be concluded that image media can improve students' speaking skills in class V UPT SD Negeri 009 Kebun Tinggi s. In cycle I, the results of students' speaking skills were classified as poor with a percentage of 40%. Next in cycle II with a percentage of 100% in the very good category. Of 5 students. Thus, it can be concluded that using image media can improve the speaking skills of class V students at UPT SD Negeri 009 Kebun Tinggi for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The aim of carrying out this research is: to improve learning outcomes for class VI Mathematics students on the subject of Properties of Flat Shapes through the True Or False Strategy at SDN 009 Bonai Darussalam, Rokan Hulu Regency, Academic Year 2020/2021. The subject of this classroom action research is Mathematics, the main material is about the Properties of Flat Shapes using the True or False learning strategy, for class VI students at SDN 009 Bonai Darussalam, Rokan Hulu Regency, Rokan Hulu Regency, with a total of 16 students. The learning improvement research location is at SDN 009 Bonai Darussalam, Rokan Hulu Regency. When this research was carried out in two cycles, cycle I was 8 February – 11 February 2021, cycle II was 22 February – 25 February 2021. The results of this research were that learning with the True or False strategy had a positive impact in improving Mathematics learning outcomes regarding the characteristics of Characteristics of Flat Buildings in Class VI Students of SDN 009 Bonai Darussalam, Rokan Hulu Regency, Rokan Hulu Regency. This can be seen in Cycle I, of the 16 students who completed as many as 9 students (56.25%) and those who did not complete as many as 7 students (43.75%). Meanwhile, in Cycle II, there were 14 students who completed (87.50%) and 2 students (12.50%) who did not complete. So, after Cycle II was held, student learning outcomes increased by 31.25%.

Abstract

.This research aims to improve students' listening skills through the Make A Match model for class II students at SD Negeri 007 Pendalian for the 2023/2024 academic year. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. This research consisted of 2 cycles and each cycle was held in 2 meetings. Data analysis techniques are carried out using qualitative and quantitative descriptions. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle lasting 2 meetings. The research results showed that students' listening skills improved after the action. The results of the research show that using the Make A Match model can increase the interest of class II students at SD Negeri 007 Pendalian. This is shown by an increase in the number of students who reach the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and an increase in the average class and classical scores. The average value of students' interest in learning before the action was 57.1% with a sufficient category, then in cycle I they got an average of 67.9% also in the sufficient category and in cycle II they got a class average of 85.7% with very good category.

Abstract

The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. This research consisted of 2 cycles and each cycle was held in 2 meetings. Data analysis techniques are carried out using qualitative and quantitative descriptions. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle lasting 2 meetings. The results showed that students' listening skills improved after the action. The results of the research show that the use of the cooperative script model can improve the listening skills of class I students at UPT SD Negeri 026 Pangkalan Kapas. This is shown by an increase in the number of students who reach the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and an increase in the average class and classical scores. The average value and percentage of classical completion in cycle I, meeting I, was 28.57%, in cycle I, meeting II, 57.14% and in cycle II, meeting I, 71.42%, in cycle II, meeting II, 85.71%.
