As time progresses, technology continues to develop, following the increasing human needs for technology. The demand for computers and application programs has been steadily rising and evolving. In contemporary life, nearly every aspect requires technological assistance, including the aspect of conducting transactions. One of the most frequently used technologies in transactions with clients is the cashier application. Desktop-based cashier applications offer numerous advantages, such as easier accessibility from anywhere and time-saving data processing during sales transactions. PT. Lafiye Mode Indonesia has been conducting its sales transactions using Microsoft Excel, but due to the large volume of data processed, which often amounts to hundreds of entries, errors frequently occur, leading to unrecorded transaction data. Therefore, a cashier application is essential for any business field. This paper presents the design and development of a desktop-based cashier application aimed at recording every sold item and incoming funds more accurately in a database. The desktop-based cashier application will assist PT. Lafiye Mode Indonesia in facilitating transactions with clients and ensuring better-organized data recording, thereby making the administrative system more transparent in all aspects.

An attendance in an activity is in-depth and detailed information to determine the productivity or progress of the agency in general. Meanwhile, YPUI Parung Junior High School still records attendance manually. There are many shortcomings in doing attendance with manual attendance recording, including the absence of a data storage area so that it takes a long time to search for data, not to mention that there are quite a lot of students at YPUI Parung Junior High School which requires a special container to accommodate information from each number of users, manual data collection and attendance systems are impractical in the process of recording attendance to the central server and there is a possibility of errors in the recording process caused by human error and frequent loss of data due to sheets of paper. Therefore, it is necessary to have a web-based attendance application system. The method used is the waterfall method because this method allows for departremtalization and control. The development process of the one by one phase model, so as to minimize errors that may occur.

With the advancement of information technology, applications have become a crucial need in various aspects of life, including education. SMK Setia Bhakti, as an innovative educational institution, needs to enhance its data management, particularly in guest book management. Manual guest book management often poses challenges in recording and securing data. Therefore, this research proposes the development of a digital guest book application to improve efficiency and information security. The research employs an agile methodology in system development, from planning to project closure. The application is expected to record guest data, manage information digitally, and generate reports more efficiently and securely. The system also utilizes XAMPP and Netbeans for data management and implementation. The results of this study indicate that the digital guest book application can meet the expected functional and non-functional requirements, providing a more effective solution compared to the manual method.

This research aims to design and implement an effective web-based information system to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency at Bermuda Triangle Cafe Coffee & Eatery. The research methodology includes interviews with cafe owners and customers, direct observation at the cafe, and literature review to support the development of the web-based information system. The findings indicate that implementing a web-based information system can improve customer information access, expand customer interaction, and enhance operational efficiency. The research contributes to the development of information technology in the food and beverage industry, particularly in improving customer service and operational efficiency in cafes.

The growth of the digital industry has increased health products, especially herbal products. Desoil Healthy Box Shop takes advantage of this opportunity by offering herbal products online. Changes in consumer preferences to web platforms or mobile applications are due to ease of ordering and product variety. To compete in the herbal industry, operational efficiency is important. Web-based sales systems automate orders, payments, and shipping, reducing manual workload and increasing productivity. This system also enables better service to customers through easy product browsing and accurate information about availability. Competitive advantage is the main focus. Implementing a web-based sales system can differentiate Healthy Box Store from competitors by providing easy access and a better shopping experience. PT Yabes Innovation Prima has tried marketing via Instagram and Facebook, but the results have not been satisfactory. This research aims to design a web-based e- commerce application for herbal health products using the Waterfall method to expand the market and increase turnover.

This research aims to design a web-based information system for managing tuition fee payments (SPP - Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan) at SMP Islam Parung. The system is developed using the Waterfall method, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. Requirement analysis is conducted by collecting data through observation, interviews, and literature studies. System design includes database design, user interface design, and business process flow design. Implementation is carried out using PHP programming language and MySQL database. System testing is performed using black-box testing to ensure functionality and conformance with user requirements. The result of this research is a web-based tuition fee payment information system that can facilitate the payment process, recording, and reporting efficiently and in a computerized manner. This system is expected to improve performance and transparency in the management of tuition fee payments at SMP Islam Parung.

This study designs a web-based application for New Student Admissions (PPDB) at SD Negeri Buaran 01 using a qualitative descriptive method. The goal is to automate the registration process, manage prospective student data, and provide PPDB-related information, which were previously handled manually. The research stages include problem identification, literature review, data collection through observation and interviews, data analysis, application design, testing, and evaluation. The developed application features online registration, prospective student data management, announcement notifications, and reporting. The result is an application that enhances operational efficiency, facilitates the registration process, and supports faster, more accurate decision-making.

In facing the dynamics of this complex industry, practical work on the theme of designing the profile of a specialist gas construction company is becoming increasingly important. PT. Putu Marta Mandiri which operates in the gas specialist construction sector. The data analysis techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and literature study. The design was carried out using the UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling approach, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. The company profile website is designed with main features such as home page, company profile, services, team, partnerships, location, gallery and contact. System testing is carried out using the black box testing method to validate functionality and ensure the system runs according to expected specifications.

The process of signature binarization is a crucial step in automatic signature recognition and verification. This research develops, implements, and evaluates three thresholding techniques—simple, adaptive, and Otsu—for signature binarization using the OpenCV2 library. Simple thresholding uses a single threshold for the entire image; adaptive thresholding adjusts the threshold based on different parts of the image; and the Otsu method determines the threshold automatically through histogram analysis. This study compares the effectiveness and reliability of these three techniques under various lighting conditions. The results indicate that simple thresholding is less effective in dark lighting conditions, while adaptive thresholding shows improved performance in handling lighting variations. The Otsu method provides the best results with its ability to automatically determine the optimal threshold, producing accurate and clear binary images.

A management information system (MIS) is a combination of hardware and software used to collect, process, and store information that is useful for management in making better decisions. This study aims to develop and implement a management information system that can optimize transaction data management at PT. Lafiye Mode Indonesia. The main focus of this research is to evaluate how MIS can improve operational efficiency, reduce inventory storage costs, and enhance the speed and accuracy of transaction data processing. The research methods used include interviews, observation, and literature study. The results show that the implementation of a desktop-based MIS can facilitate the company in conducting sales transactions and data recording, thereby reducing human errors and increasing administrative efficiency. The integration of a Point of Sale (POS) system also helps manage inventory and payments more effectively. In conclusion, this desktop-based cashier application provides a systematic and adaptive framework to improve service quality and company management.
