Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem deteksi kerusakan printer menggunakan metode forward chaining. Dalam konteks perkembangan teknologi informasi yang cepat, printer menjadi perangkat penting dalam kegiatan pencetakan baik di rumah maupun di kantor. Namun, kerusakan pada printer dapat mengganggu produktivitas pengguna dan menimbulkan biaya perbaikan yang tinggi. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, pengembangan sistem deteksi kerusakan printer menjadi penting. Metode forward chaining, yang merupakan pendekatan berbasis aturan, digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk membangun sistem deteksi kerusakan printer. Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan metode forward chaining dalam mendeteksi kerusakan printer, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi akurasi dan efisiensi sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem deteksi kerusakan printer menggunakan metode forward chaining dapat mengenali berbagai kerusakan printer dengan tingkat akurasi yang cukup tinggi. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan yang berharga dalam pengembangan sistem deteksi kerusakan yang lebih efektif dan efisien untuk perangkat printer. Sistem pakar ini dapat dikenali Sebanyak 26 printer dari 9 jenis pabrikan Canon Ada kerusakan dan 38 gejala, dan tingkat jawaban yang benar adalah sekitar 80%.

Abstract

In the era of continuously developing information technology, website-based attendance systems have become an efficient and effective solution for managing employee attendance in various industries. This research proposes the development of a website-based attendance system using NodeMCU ESP32 and the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm to identify employee attendance patterns. The NodeMCU ESP32 acts as hardware that connects to the RFID sensor, sends data to the server via the Wi-Fi network, and communicates wirelessly with the web server via the HTTP protocol. The KNN algorithm will be implemented on the server side to process attendance data and classify attendance patterns based on existing history. This research aims to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the attendance system in managing employee attendance, with the hope of reducing the administration time required and increasing company productivity. It is hoped that the results of this research can become the basis for the development of a more sophisticated and adaptive attendance management system, utilizing the latest technology in the context of human resource management. Thus, the use of NodeMCU ESP32 and the KNN algorithm as part of a website-based attendance system opens up opportunities for more effective and efficient solutions in attendance management in the modern business environment.

Abstract

Motorcycles are very popular in Indonesia, with the number reaching 125,305,332 units in 2022 according to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). However, this popularity also increases the risk of theft, which rose from 106 cases in 2021 to 183 cases in 2022 according to BAPPEDA Jogja. To address this issue, this study proposes a motorcycle security system controlled via Telegram. This system uses WiFi technology, allowing users to monitor and control their motorcycles remotely. The prototype employs an Arduino Uno microcontroller, an ESP8266 module for WiFi connectivity, vibration and PIR sensors to detect suspicious activity, and relays to activate alarms and cut off power to the motorcycle. The development method used is prototyping, which involves iterative feedback and refinement. The resulting design effectively reduces the risk of theft by providing early detection and quick response capabilities, thereby enhancing motorcycle security.

Abstract

Cipayung Depok Community Health Center is an institution that provides health services for the community which was founded in 1992 on Jl.Blok Rambutan No.108 Rt 01/04 Cipayung, Depok. Cipayung Community Health Center can serve around 100 to 120 patients every day, in one month there can be up to 3,000 to 3,600 patients with symptoms of different diseases and this is what causes the community health center to have difficulty in determining appropriate counseling regarding a disease. which is caused. Complaints suffered by patients can be a reference in finding information on the correct diagnosis or prevention of a disease. Community health centers also play an important role in preventing disease in an area, this can be done through counseling, outreach and other forms of prevention. Each patient's data is also recorded, including patient complaints, personal biodata and treatment and so on. This research aims to determine the diseases that patients often complain about. In this research, data collection was carried out through observation and literature study. Grouping medical record data has succeeded in making it easier for the health center to know what diseases are often found and become complaints from patients.

Abstract

This research aims to apply Internet of Things technology to increase the efficiency of finding car parking spaces in shopping center environments. The system developed is expected to provide real-time parking availability information, guide users to suitable parking spaces, and reduce search time significantly. This research method involves web-based system design and prototyping. Parking space vacancy data will be collected via an ultrasonic sensor type HCSR04. And it will be sent from the ESP8266 microcontroller to the parking website. The application of Internet of Things technology to efficiently find parking spaces in shopping center environments is expected to produce positive results. Users will be able to access real-time parking availability information and reduce search time. In addition, the application of this technology is expected to improve user experience and optimize the use of parking spaces in shopping center environments. By combining web-based technology and HCSR04 type ultrasonic sensors, this system can provide an effective solution to increase the efficiency of finding parking spaces in shopping center environments. It is hoped that the positive impact of this research can contribute to the progress and management of the urban environment.

Abstract

In the digital era, stock management of goods such as the retail industry of building stores is one of the most important aspects. Toko Bangunan Karya Putra II is one of them that still manages stock management using conventional methods in the process of recording stock of goods. Karya Putra II Building Store, located in the South Tangerang City area, provides building goods such as bricks, cement, sand, and other building tools. Stock recording, inventory management, and supplier data management are still carried out in the conventional way, namely using paper so as to allow for data writing errors, inaccurate incoming goods data, to be less efficient for employee labor. This research aims to build a system that can replace conventional methods with web-based information systems that are expected to facilitate the management of building stores. This system uses the waterfall method and is created using the JavaScript programming language and using a PostgreSQL database. Based on the test results obtained using two system methods, Black Box testing and White Box testing is a system that is built both functionally and the structure of the program code can be run properly according to the expected function. Broadly speaking, the system created has fulfilled the main function in data processing for stock recording systems, such as adding data, displaying data, changing data and deleting data.

Abstract

The development of the Internet of Things (IoT) has enabled better integration between electronic devices and internet networks, creating new opportunities for remote control of devices. One example is controlling lights using Telegram as a communication interface. This research aims to design an IoT lighting control system connected to Telegram, allowing users to access and control lights remotely via the Telegram application. The system consists of a sensor to detect light intensity, a microcontroller to process data, and a communication module to send instructions to the lamp via relay. Users can send commands via Telegram to turn lights on, off, or adjust the brightness of lights according to their preferences, as well as program light responses based on environmental conditions. By leveraging a broad IoT infrastructure and communications platforms, such as Telegram, the system provides easy access and flexible control, offering the potential for practical implementation in a variety of contexts, including smart homes, offices, or urban environments.

Abstract

Aquaponics is a cultivation system that combines aquaculture (fish farming) and hydroponics (soil-less plant cultivation) in an integrated environment. To enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of aquaponic systems, technology is needed that can automatically and in real-time monitor and control various environmental parameters. This research aims to design and build a smart aquaponic control and monitoring system using Firebase and Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The system utilizes sensors to measure crucial parameters such as water pH, temperature, and dissolved oxygen levels. Data from these sensors are sent to the Firebase platform via IoT connections, enabling remote monitoring and control through a web-based application. Test results show that the developed system is capable of providing real-time data and issuing automatic notifications if any parameters are outside optimal ranges. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the productivity and sustainability of aquaponics by facilitating efficient management and maintenance.

Abstract

An Arduino-based control system for nutrient solution management in hydroponic plants is developed to enhance efficiency and plant quality. The system utilizes sensors to monitor environmental conditions and automatically adjusts pH and nutrient levels in the solution, thereby achieving an optimal environment for plant growth. Consequently, the system can improve crop yields, reduce labor costs, and enhance the efficiency of hydroponic farming practices.

Abstract

The fisheries industry continues to evolve, requiring innovative approaches to enhance production efficiency. Fish feeding management is a key aspect of cultivation that requires careful supervision and control. In this context, the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology promises intelligent solutions that can efficiently monitor and control fish feeding. This research aims to design and implement an IoT-based Fish Feeding System at the Vocational Fisheries Department. Using qualitative methods involving surveys and direct observations, we developed a system consisting of integrated architecture with main components and appropriate control algorithms. With the adoption of IoT technology, fish feeding management can become more automated and measurable, improving feed efficiency and reducing waste. The implementation of this system also makes a positive contribution to vocational education in fisheries, providing practical experience to students. The results of this research indicate that the IoT-based Fish Feeding System has great potential to enhance fisheries production efficiency and provide an innovative approach to fish feeding management that can be widely adopted by the fisheries industry.
