Abstract

The rising intensity of cyber incidents in Indonesia is not merely a technical issue but also reflects failures in applying the professional code of ethics in information technology (IT), such as the obligation to avoid harm, preserve data confidentiality, and exercise professional competence responsibly. This study aims to group cyber incidents by their characteristics and then interpret the resulting clusters as indications of IT professional code-of-ethics violations. The K-Means Clustering algorithm was applied to the Cybersecurity Incident Dataset (Habeeb, 2024) using the CRISP-DM framework. The numerical variables analysed include financial loss, number of affected users, resolution time, severity score, and attack sophistication. The optimal number of clusters was determined by combining the Elbow method and the Silhouette coefficient. The analysis produced three distinct clusters, namely high-impact and sophisticated incidents, medium operational incidents, and high-volume low-impact incidents, with a Silhouette value of 0.53 indicating an adequate clustering structure. Mapping each cluster onto ethical principles shows that high-volume incidents are most associated with weak awareness and basic controls, whereas high-impact incidents are most associated with negligence of professional responsibility on critical systems. These findings can serve as a basis for more targeted mitigation prioritisation and professional ethics enforcement.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged various business sectors, including retail businesses, to utilize information systems in supporting their operational activities. Retail stores have main activities such as sales transactions and inventory management which are carried out routinely every day. However, in practice, many retail stores still record transactions and manage inventory manually, which often leads to various problems such as recording errors, delays in data updates, and difficulties in stock-taking processes and report generation. The purpose of this study is to design a sales and stock opname system that can help improve efficiency and accuracy in managing sales data and inventory in retail stores. The research methods used include observation, interviews, and literature study to obtain the information needed in the system analysis and design process. The result of this study is a design of an information system capable of automatically recording sales transactions, managing inventory data in an integrated manner, and providing stock opname features to facilitate the stock-checking process. In addition, the system is able to generate sales reports and inventory reports quickly and accurately. With this system, it is expected to assist store owners in improving operational effectiveness and minimizing errors in data management.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged businesses to adopt computerized systems to improve operational efficiency. Warung Sunda still performs sales transactions manually, causing recording errors, delays in service, and difficulties in managing sales reports. This study aims to design and implement a web-based cashier application integrated with barcode scanner technology to support transaction activities at Warung Sunda. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development model. PHP was utilized as the programming language, while MySQL was employed as the database management system. The developed application provides features such as user authentication, menu management, barcode-based transaction processing, payment management, receipt printing, and sales reporting. The results indicate that the application can accelerate transaction processing, reduce data entry errors, improve data management efficiency, and enhance customer service quality. Therefore, the implementation of a web-based cashier application is expected to support more effective and efficient business operations.

Abstract

PT Aksesindo Semesta Nusantara is an educational institution that offers tutoring services to prepare participants for the selection of CPNS (National Civil Servant Candidates), PPPK (National Civil Service Candidates), civil service schools, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and higher education. Measuring learning success requires a systematic system to collect feedback from participants regarding instructors and classes to ensure data can be managed centrally and efficiently. To address this issue, a Website-Based Tutoring Review Information System was developed using the Waterfall approach. The goal of this system is to provide a digital evaluation tool that facilitates participants in providing assessments and assists management in monitoring teaching quality quickly and accurately. The design process involved observation, documentation studies, and system requirements analysis, which was then built using the Laravel and React frameworks and a MySQL database. The result of this practical activity is a website-based review system that allows participants to provide ratings and feedback via a link or QR Code without having to log in. This system has the ability to manage class session data, instructors, assessments, and participant feedback in an integrated manner. With this system, the learning evaluation process becomes more effective and efficient, and supports the improvement of the quality of educational services at PT Aksesindo Semesta Nusantara.

Abstract

Manual asset management at the Competency Assessment Center often causes data inaccuracies and delays in reporting. This study aims to design and develop a web-based asset management information system that can improve efficiency and accuracy in asset management at the Competency Assessment Center. The research methodology includes observation, interviews, and situation analysis. The system is designed to allow administrators and asset management staff to access information in real time, reduce data input errors, and accelerate the reporting process. The results of this study indicate that the system successfully improves the accuracy and efficiency of asset management. The system also enables faster access to information, reduces reporting delays, and facilitates the identification and monitoring of asset movement history. Therefore, this web-based asset management information system is able to provide a significant solution to the problems faced by managers, increase productivity, and serve as a reference for other institutions facing similar challenges in managing their assets.

Abstract

The assessment of students’ tutoring needs at MI Al Muhajirin is still conducted manually based on teachers’ observations, which may lead to subjective and unstructured evaluations. This study aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) to classify students’ tutoring needs objectively and systematically. The method applied in this research is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), with the system development carried out using the Extreme Programming (XP) approach and tested through Black Box Testing and White Box Testing. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. The results indicate that the system is capable of processing student data based on multiple assessment criteria and generating preference values along with tutoring recommendation classifications in a structured manner. The implementation of this system assists teachers in making more objective, consistent, and transparent decisions, while also facilitating systematic documentation of assessment results to support evaluation processes and communication with schools and parents.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are important components in supporting educational activities. Manual inventory management often causes data loss, recording errors, difficulties in data retrieval, and inefficient reporting processes. SMAN 10 Pandeglang still manages facilities and infrastructure using manual record books. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Facilities and Infrastructure Inventory Information System using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The system was developed using Laravel Framework and MySQL Database. The results show that the proposed system improves inventory management efficiency, accelerates reporting processes, facilitates asset monitoring, and minimizes data recording errors.

Abstract

Information on Tuku Ramen menus, branches, operating hours, packages, frequently asked questions, and reservations was previously distributed across Instagram, Linktree, WhatsApp, and direct communication with administrators. This required customers to access several channels and caused administrators to spend approximately 2–3 hours per day answering repetitive questions. This study aimed to implement a web-based customer service information system as a centralized information and operational data management platform. Data were obtained through service-process observation, an interview with the General Manager, literature review, and application repository inspection. Development used the Waterfall model and was limited to requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The system was modeled using UML and a relational database and implemented with Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase PostgreSQL, Supabase Auth, and Supabase Storage. The public pages provide branch-based menus, packages, locations, operating hours, FAQs, and WhatsApp reservation links. The administrator and owner dashboards support the management of menus, branches, packages, FAQs, images, availability status, and user access. Black-box testing of 15 scenarios showed that all scenarios produced the expected results, representing a 100% functional pass rate. These results demonstrate conformity with the main functional requirements; however, they do not yet demonstrate improvements in efficiency or customer satisfaction because pre–post evaluation and usability testing were not conducted.

Abstract

SMPT Darussalam Reni Jaya is a junior high educational institution that integrates Islamic values with digital technology developments. However, the dissemination of school information to the public is still conducted conventionally through notice boards and printed brochures, resulting in limited reach and a lack of accessibility anytime and anywhere. This condition leads to unstructured storage of teacher data and activity documentation, as well as minimal information received by prospective new students and parents, particularly during the New Student Admission (PPDB) period. This study aims to design and develop a Web-Based School Information System at SMPT Darussalam Reni Jaya using the PHP programming language and MySQL database with the Waterfall method. The resulting system includes features for managing school profiles, teacher data, news, activity galleries, and flagship programs, which can be managed by an administrator through a dashboard without altering the program code. The results of black box testing indicate that all system functions operate according to the design.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant changes in various sectors, including education. One of the applications of information technology in education is the use of websites as digital information media. SDN Peninggilan 5 requires an information system that can provide school information quickly, accurately, and easily accessible to the public. However, the current information dissemination process is still carried out manually, making it less effective and inaccessible in real time. This study aims to design and implement a school website as a digital information medium at SDN Peninggilan 5. The system was developed using the Waterfall method consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The website was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results show that the developed website is capable of providing information regarding school profiles, vision and mission, teacher data, news, activity galleries, and contact information in a structured and accessible manner. Furthermore, the administrator system enables the school staff to independently manage and update information. Therefore, the school website can improve the effectiveness of information dissemination and support the digitalization of information services at SDN Peninggilan 5.
