Abstract

Every place has the potential for danger, even a closed room. Temperature, air circulation, humidity are some of the factors that can cause health and comfort problems if not well regulated. So it is necessary to make a system that can monitor the temperature and humidity of the room to stay in comfort and safety. In this research, a device has been made that can monitor temperature and humidity using a DHT11 sensor. The measured data is sent via the Internet of Things (IoT) to facilitate analysis and decision making without having to come to the physical device. The test results of this tool have a relative error in temperature measurements of 1.14%, 1.51% and 0.76%. Data transmission is successfully done and displayed on the blynk application with an average delay of 2.3 seconds. While sending data shown via google spreadsheets application has an average delay of 3.3 seconds.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are one of the most common causes of death in the world, and helmet use has been effective proved in reducing the risk of head injuries for motorcyclists. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that motorcyclists always wear helmets while riding. One method to detect helmet use is by utilizing object recognition technology based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). This study focus on design and implement a simple helmet detection system using CNN methods and the YOLO v3 model for real-time detection. The system is expected to accurately detect helmet use by riders. In this research, the YOLO v3 model is trained using the COCO dataset, which includes various images with diverse contexts. The results of this implementation show that the system can detect helmet use effectively under various lighting conditions and environments. This demonstrates the potential use of a helmet detection system based on CNN and YOLO in enhancing riding safety.

Abstract

The attendance system at SMKN 8 Tangerang Regency currently still uses paper forms. Each teacher takes attendance every time they enter and leave teaching, filling in attendance using a paper form that is made manually every day by all teachers concerned to the on-duty teacher, and is manually summarized by administrative staff and then submitted to the principal every month. This system takes a long time and requires a set of office stationery so that over time there will be an accumulation of data in the form of an accumulation of attendance paper for years. The impact of this is that the data will become obsolete and cannot be reused as a history of the teacher's discipline in the future. The creation of this application uses PHP as a programming language and MySQL as a database, while the methodology used is the extreme programming method (XP). From this study, it resulted in a web-based teacher attendance application design application for SMKN 8 Tangerang Regency using the extreme programming method (Case Study: SMKN 8 Tangerang Regency) which is expected to be able to monitor the attendance of teachers and students at SMKN 8 Tangerang Regency.

Abstract

Traditional agriculture refers to farming that utilizes natural and local techniques, relying little on modern technology or chemicals. However, traditional agricultural systems face many challenges, including low productivity; traditional farming may not be as productive as modern methods. Additionally, dependence on weather conditions poses a significant barrier to production. To improve the quality and productivity of traditional agriculture, methodologies such as developing smart farming systems can be implemented. Smart farming applies technology in agriculture to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability through sensors and IoT devices to manage and monitor agricultural activities more effectively. The smart farming system to be developed is based on the SCADA concept, where control of devices such as temperature sensors, soil moisture, light, and rainfall sensors, as well as actuators, is managed via the ModBus protocol based on the RS-485 RTU module. For controllers connected to the internet server, the ESP32 module will be used. Users can access the system using smartphones or laptops equipped with a wireless modem to establish remote connections via the internet. Thus, the application of this technology can significantly increase agricultural productivity and improve the efficiency of managing fields and crops. Users do not need to be physically present on-site, as the system can be controlled and monitored remotely from a distance.

Abstract

Along with the development of computer technology and information technology, it is time for schools to develop an effective and efficient information system in order to be able to improve the quality of communication with students and parents/guardians of students as well as other school stakeholders. The problem that exists at Setia Gama Vocational School is that the process of processing financial data, especially the process of paying tuition fees, is still manual, causing problems in data processing, financial reports on financing education development, delays in preparing financial reports which take up a lot of time, resulting in ineffective work. In connection with these problems, a web-based information system application is needed in paying tuition fees, where this system will facilitate computerized data processing, in this case, authorization of payment systems for SPP (Educational Development Donations) which can be accessed at any time quickly and efficiently. The SPP payment information system provides accurate and well-documented recording information and the SPP payment information system makes it easier for treasurers to recap financial reports.

Abstract

Social Assistance activity program is the provision of assistance in the form of money or goods from the central / local government addressed to individuals, families, groups or communities that are not continuous and selective in nature that aims to protect against the possibility of social inequality. However, the classic problem that often occurs in the field when distributing this aid is the inaccuracy of data on recipients of social assistance packages, as a result many people who should get social assistance do not get it and vice versa. In order for the distribution of this aid to be more accurate in accordance with the data of prospective recipients, a system was created that is able to assist related parties in making more accurate and targeted decisions. This decision making is based on community data processed using the SMART (Simple Multi-AttributeRating Technique) method.

Abstract

Developments in the film industry have been very rapid from time to time. Thousands of film and drama titles appear in a year from various genres, players and plots. The recommendation system will assist users in making choices based on the data to be processed. In this study, a drama and film recommendation system will be built using the content-based filtering method with TF-IDF calculations and cosine similarity through data such as title, genre, synopsis and cast so that users can easily search for shows based on the type of drama or film they like.

Abstract

The design of a web-based school information system using the codeigniter framework at Nurul Hikmah Middle School was created to build a school information system that is expected to facilitate data processing and data search in schools, so that data processing of this school information system can be more accurate, information system design schools are designed using the codeigniter framework programming language and MySQL database which in the final stage can function to facilitate data processing, for the implementation phase using UML (Unified Modeling Language) which can analyze input data and output data. The waterfall method is carried out with a systematic approach, starting from the system requirements stage and then moving on to the analysis, design, coding, testing/verification, and maintenance stages. Step by step that must be completed one by one (cannot jump to the next stage) and run sequentially, therefore it is called a waterfall. To ensure the system runs well, two stages of testing are carried out, namely white box and black box testing in the process of managing student data, managing grades data and managing academic data as well as testing showing the final report on student report card scores.

Abstract

A computer is an electronic device that can receive and process data into information, run programs stored in memory, and can work automatically with certain rules. Lack of sufficient knowledge in dealing with problems with damage to computers makes people unable to identify the location of the damage that has occurred and how to deal with it. Therefore, an expert system is needed to help people find problems with damage to computers along with solutions and ways to handle them. That by using a web browser-based application to diagnose laptop damage using the Naïve Bayes method, it can facilitate the work of a technician, especially in terms of time efficiency when analyzing damage. expert systems can help users to analyze initial damage by using existing symptoms with a system that has been built with the Bayesian method having an accuracy rate of 100%.

Abstract

The development of sat technology is currently growing rapidly, today's technology is no longer a compliment but has become a necessity. One of them is in the world of fish farming. Developing technology offers a wide range of automatic device options that are deliberately created for personal and group convenience. The automatic device itself offers us not have to do the activity repeatedly, but the repetitive activity has been done with the automatic device. One of them is a fish feed system based on the Internet of Things. Challenges arise when the owner is busy with his activities while required to provide fish so that the fish continue to grow properly. Therefore this research was conducted to overcome the problems that arise when the owner cannot provide feed directly or provide feed at the right time because he has other things to do. NodeMCU can be used as a tool to receive input and output of a sensor and as a device that can connect to the internet because NodeMCU is equipped with an ESP8266 chip, by adding a servo motor as a feed aid, and the Blynk application for scheduling media, then feeding can be done and scheduled remotely.
