One of the programs carried out by the 2021 University of Riau's Community Service Learning (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) students in Bunsur Village is the planting of mangroves. The activity involves observation and education methods. The mangrove planting activity is conducted in two phases, namely preparation and implementation. The preparation phase includes field surveys and the collection of mangrove seedlings. The activity took place on July 31, 2023, involving University of Riau KKN students, the Village Head of Bunsur, village officials, neighborhood and community leaders, the Mangrove Community of Bunsur Village, the Sungai Apit police officer (Bhabinkamtibmas), elementary school teachers, youth groups from Bunsur Village, as well as the Women Farmers Group of Bunsur Village, and several residents of Bunsur Village. A total of 50 mangrove seedlings were planted, obtained through the support of the Mangrove Community of Bunsur Village Chairperson. Abstract

This research aims to find out about the protection of human rights and international human rights regarding the practice of Surrogate Mother and to find evidence that there are no legal provisions that can protect the human rights of all parties involved in this practice. This type of research is normative legal research. Through a legislative approach that applies in Indonesia. The results of this research show that the practice of renting a womb violates human rights. The practice of surrogacy or womb renting cannot be implemented in Indonesia because it is considered to violate the human rights of mothers who rent out their wombs to have offspring from a valid marriage in accordance with article 28 paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution. Apart from that, when an agreement is made, the agreement is not recognized or considered invalid because a woman's womb is not an object of an agreement. Apart from that, the unclear status of the children born can cause defects if inbreeding occurs. These legal findings show that there are no clear legal provisions that can protect the human rights of all parties involved, including children born as a result of this practice. The legality of renting a womb in international human rights helps married couples to have children. As a form of absolute right as a human right which is also regulated in international instruments including the UDHR and CEDAW. Abstract

Human rights become a hot world issue when their recognition becomes a commitment of every country in the world. The global community is also worried about violations of human rights which frequently occur and are becoming more massive as time goes by. Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues became increasingly hot on the lips of the public when there was news in the mass media about the ASEAN-wide LGBT meeting being held in Jakarta last July. In this article, the author uses normative juridical research methods. The author will review secondary legal materials, including laws, books, journals and literature related to the research subject, and explain them through descriptive analysis. 20th century, issues surrounding transgender identity began to emerge in various big cities in Indonesia. In the context of performing and martial arts, as well as among male communities in some ethnic groups, same-sex interactions have become common. Human Rights freedoms are supported by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, namely liberalization of freedom of expression, especially transgender sexual behavior. Transgender issues began to emerge in several large cities in Indonesia at the beginning of the 20th century. Then it began to experience rapid development around the 1960s. Indonesia is a country that respects and upholds human rights in its constitution. The lack of clarity regarding transgender people in both the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and positive law in Indonesia is used as an opportunity for transgender people to fight for their rights

Abstract

Members of the TNI and POLRI as part of Indonesian citizens should have human rights, especially the political right to vote in elections. However, in reality, the right to vote for these two agencies is limited by the provisions in force in the legislation. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze the provisions on the right to vote for members of the TNI and POLRI from a positive law and human rights perspective. This research uses normative juridical methods such as a conceptual approach, a state approach, a historical approach and an analytical approach. Based on the research results, there is a decline in democracy looking at the history of elections in 3 periods, namely the old order, the new order and the reform era. Apart from that, there is a lack of synchronization between positive legal provisions and each other which regulate human rights and political rights of Indonesian citizens

Abstract

The meaning of defending the country is a manifestation of our love for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Defending the State is not the responsibility of the TNI or Police alone, but defending the State is our collective responsibility as citizens of the Indonesian community to protect Indonesia from all kinds of threats both from within and outside in order to maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Along with the development of technology, Indonesia is currently entering the era of digitalization. In the era of digitalization, attacks or threats to the country are not only in the form of physical attacks, but also cyber attacks that attack a country in the economic, political and military fields using attacks due to technological advances. This is the focus of this research. The question of this research is what are the factors that influence the challenges of the digital era in society and how to apply the value of defending the country in facing the challenges of the digital era. To obtain answers, this research uses yuridis normative methods or library research, meaning that this research is based on on library sources to discuss the problems that have been formulated. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that in realizing actions to defend the country, it is necessary to instill a sense of love for Indonesia's air, and by remembering that Indonesia is a country with a lot of diversity, it is necessary to instill a sense of tolerance in the minds of the souls of Indonesian citizens. One of the very important basic elements of the digital era is being critical in responding to content. Indonesian citizens today must be smarter in absorbing content and information and encourage Indonesian citizens and society to always be critical and suspicious, especially regarding content that is too bombarded, meaningless, and full of nuances of hatred To ensure that the unitary Republic of Indonesia remains intact and peaceful.

Abstract

Cases of violence against children have recently occurred so frequently that they have become a topic every day and are often underestimated in their environment. Violence against children carried out by irresponsible people can cause physical, psychological misery or suffering, depression and anxiety. Children are a generation of youth who are the nation's successors and should be protected by parents, family, society, local government and the state. Child protection is a form of activity to guarantee and protect children and the child's right to have a meaningful life, to get health services for themselves and children must also get a decent life in terms of shelter, clothing, nutritious food as food for the child's growth and development and care. medical services to a high standard if the child is sick or has an accident. Protection of children with character is to fulfill the needs and rights that they should get in order for them to be able to live, grow and thrive. In reality, children in Indonesia are very worrying because there are many cases such as bullying, sexual violence against children, and commercial sexual exploitation. In the Child Protection Law, violations of the protection (protection) of children's rights are not only violations of human rights, they are also a huge obstacle to the survival and growth of children. The role of PUSPAGA (Family Learning Center) is in carrying out prevention so that similar cases do not occur again in the community by conducting outreach to the community as a prevention effort.

Abstract

To improve the quality of education in Indonesia, school reform includes zoning. Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 44 of 2019 concerning Admission of New Students to Kindergartens, Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, High Schools and Vocational High Schools is part of the government's efforts to evaluate education. This study aims to explain how the implementation of the Zoning Policy for New Student Admissions is carried out as an effort to check the quality of education in state elementary schools and elementary schools in Genteng District, Surabaya City. The author uses a qualitative consideration literature study method. According to Van Meter and Van Horn in Subarsono (2013: 99), six variables are used as the focus of research: policy size and objectives, resources, characteristics of implementing agents, tendencies or propensities of implementers, communication between organizations and activities, and the economic, social, and politics. Technical data used. The results show that those implementing the Zoning Policy for Admission of New Students as an Effort to Study the Quality of Education (Primary School and Junior High School Level Studies in Genteng District, Surabaya City) have followed the expected policy. Although zoning policies are necessary, there are still some problems. Social, political and economic resource and environmental variables are still difficult to apply.
