Abstract

This study discusses the impact of tourism on the economic level of business actors in the Weluan Beach area, Saumlaki City. One beautiful panorama in Olilit Village is white sand and stretches of palm trees waving along the coastline. Weluan Beach is estimated to have a length of approximately 2 Km with a shoreline width of roughly 40 meters. Land transportation is needed in the form of two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, with the distance from Saumlaki Olilit 10-15 meters, Departing from Weluan Beach, a tourist destination with beautiful panoramas. Weluan Beach tourism also has several impacts, including positive impacts as well as negative impacts. Weluan Beach also has a vital role in improving the economy of business actors, where they can sell and collect tickets. This research was conducted from 12 August to 18 September 2022 using the SWOT analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to find a problem (1) in the marketing of bananas. (2). Where the development of home industry industry (3) in the village tanjungsari does not go smoothly. The management economy that began to decline due to pandemic factors resulted in this banana sale marketing decreased. The industrial home in the village of Tanjungsari was initially a place to make the income of the community. This industrial home has a huge influence on the well-being of the surrounding communities. The existence of this industrial home has a huge challenge: market access and lack of product promotion that causes sales to decline. This banana industry must have a new strategy in dealing with this. This marketing needs the help of the society era 5.0 (4) that can help in such marketing through millennials and generation z (5). Qualitative research is a research process to understand human or social phenomena by creating a comprehensive and complex picture that can be presented in words, reporting detailed views obtained from informing sources, and performed in a natural setting.

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a social protection program that provides cash assistance to poor households (RTSM) designated as beneficiary families. This research was carried out in Negeri Kamal, West Kairatu District, West Seram Regency, in July 2022 through data collection methods, including observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research results show that PKH has been in Negeri Kamal since 2015. This Family Hope Program provides relief for people experiencing poverty in helping their economy and helping their children in education, in this case, elementary, middle, and high school. For health for pregnant/postpartum women and toddlers, as well as social welfare for severe disabilities. In addition, assistance in the form of cash and non-cash is conditional for low-income families

Abstract

Weavers are the primary process that converts natural and artificial spun yarn into cloth to be processed into finished goods. At the same time, the woven fabric results from human crafts on fabric made of thread, wood fiber, and sultan by inserting the weft transversely on the warp, namely the rows of threads attached longitudinally. This craft industry opened jobs for women who previously only followed their husbands in farming; now, they can work as craftsmen to help the family economy and increase family income. From the results of weaving, they get income to increase family income and be used to fulfill their daily needs. The objectives of this study are as follows: to determine the development of Tanimbar woven fabric production in improving the economy of the people of Namtabung Village, Selaru District, Tanimbar Island regency, and to determine the inhibiting factors in the manufacture of Tanimbar woven fabric to improve the economy of the people of Namtabung Village, Selaru District, Tanimbar Island regency with the production of woven fabrics. This type of research used in this writing uses the SWOT analysis method to determine strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. This research was conducted in Namtabung Village, Selaru District, Tanimbar Island Regency. This research was conducted for one month, with the specified sample taken, 25% of the total population, namely as many as 30 people.

Abstract

Development is an effort to achieve integration by using and utilizing available resources. One area with good educational potential is the Kawali District, Ciamis Regency. The potential used is in the form of a cultural heritage area based on a historical approach from the saga of the Galuh kingdom at the Pasundan level through the artifacts. Therefore, this research studies the strategy for developing tourism objects at the Astana Gede Site in Kawali District, Ciamis Regency, West Java. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques to support research were obtained through field observations, literature reviews, and documentation studies. The analysis uses a SWOT matrix analysis to determine the strengths, weaknesses, threats, and potential of various internal and external influences on the object being studied. This research aims to explain the tourism development strategy at the Astana Gede Site towards optimal development. The study results show that internal and external influences significantly develop these cultural heritage sites. In addition, the urgency of developing these attractions benefits the economy, education, and tourism.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the socio-economic condition of the coconut farming family (Cocos nucifera L) in improving the standard of living in Soahuku Country, Amahai District, Central Maluku Regency with the formulation of the problem of how coconut business (Cocos nucifera L) is used as a copra in improving the standard of living in Soahuku Country. This research aims to discover the role of coconut (Cocos nucifera L) in Soahuku Country. The variables researched are necessities of life, coconut production (Cocos nucifera L), copra marketing, income and sales results of copra, housing, education, and health. The type of research used by the survey method with the research location is the Soahuku Country. The time used in this study was one month with a population of 30 coconut farmers (Cocos nucifera L), and the sample used was random sampling with the number of samples taken by 15 farmers. The data collection techniques used are observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the result of research conducted by the landing of coconut farmers (Cocos nucifera L), it is very dependent on the land area, and the selling price of copra is often erratic. The coconut business (Cocos nucifera L) can improve the standard of living.

Abstract

Urban settlement development is an essential issue that the government and society must consider. This study aims to determine urban settlement development based on land suitability levels. The study was conducted in Sirimau District using a survey method, with variables such as slope, inundation, erosion, mass movement, soil texture, and rock exposure. The analysis and evaluation process was conducted qualitatively by spatial analysis of the overlapping results of all land parameters. The study results show 15 land units in the Sirimau District, with four land classes suitable for settlements. The categories of land suitability are very suitable covering an area of 3181.34 ha (8.04%), suitable covering an area of 567.98 ha (1.51%), moderately suitable covering an area of 2852.05 ha (7.57%), and less suitable covering an area of 23592.48 ha (62.55%). The factors that hinder the development of settlements in the research area are steep slopes and the high risk of mass movement. Therefore, the priority for urban settlement development in Sirimau District is focused on the categories of land suitability that are very.

Abstract

Eucalyptus melaleuca cajuputi is one of the plants that has many benefits, including being a component in various ointments and blends of warming oils. From this perspective, this research is qualitatively examined to explain the processing and marketing of white wood oil in Basalalae village, with a sample size of 15 people working as extractors. Based on the research findings, the production of white wood oil distillation in Basalalae village, Waelata District, involves several stages. These stages include harvesting the white wood, separating the white wood, distillation, purification, and finally, storage to ensure the white wood oil remains fresh and unoxidized. They produce about 4 to 5 liters of white wood oil in a single production cycle. The average income the white wood oil distillation receives in Basalalae village, Waelata District, is Rp 1,124,834. The distribution of white wood oil from Basalalae village is limited to the local area and reaches the national market. The current price of white wood oil is Rp 402,000 per liter.

Abstract

Trade is one of the sectors in our economic system that connects the production sector with consumption. This research aims to understand the survival strategies of conventional traders amid the development of online shops in the Batu Merah Market, Ambon City, Maluku Province. The research type used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach, and it is analyzed using SWOT analysis. The research results show that strategies implemented to sustain their businesses have been practiced for a long time, including store layout arrangement, expanding the range of merchandise, and being able to withstand the intensifying competition with modern retailers. The presence of online shops offering convenient shopping experiences tailored to customer demands, allowing people to shop from home, has led to a tendency for the community to move away from traditional stores.
