Abstract

Adolescence is a time of searching for identity and identity. Many adolescents experience mentally-related problems related to the maturation process such as self-esteem, where self-esteem is very important for adolescents in their development. Self-esteem is influenced by several factors, one of which is the use of social media. This study aimed to see if there was a relationship between the intensity of social media use and self-esteem in adolescents. This research method is descriptive correlational with a cross-sectional design. Samples of 91 students of SMK Kesehatan Kesatrian 2 Purwokerto class X and XI were taken using proportionated random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out by distributing Social Network Time Usage Scale (SONTUS) and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) questionnaires. The results of the Spearman test of social media use intensity and self-esteem obtained a p-value <0.05 with a correlation coefficient value of r = -0.267. The results of this study show a negative correlation between the intensity of social media use and self-esteem, meaning that the higher the use of social media, the lower self-esteem. Teenagers should use social media wisely to avoid its negative impact on self-esteem problems

Abstract

KMS is a card containing the child's normal growth curve based on the anthropometric index of body weight according to age. The role of cadres related to monitoring growth and development is very important. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of KMS filling training on the accuracy of immunization cadres in interpreting weighing results. Pre-Experimental Research Design with One-Group pre-posttest approach. Sampling by probability sampling of as many as 13 respondents. Data collection using questionnaires (Pre-test and Post-test) and tested using paired t-test. The results showed that the average knowledge before (pretest) was 66.92 and after (posttest) given training became 78.23 with p = value 0.001 For the average value of skills before training (pretest) was 57.38 while after training (posttest) 86.23 with p = value 0.000. It can be concluded that there is an effectiveness of KMS filling training, and there is an accuracy of immunization cadres in interpreting weighing results.

Abstract

Work position is a person's body position in doing work, if the work position done by craftsmen is not suitable it can cause complaints such as low back pain. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work position and low back pain in filigree craftsmen in Mongolato Village. This type of research uses quantitative research with a cross-sectional design, a population of 84 respondents in Mongolato Village, a research sample of 45 respondents, which is determined by purposive sampling techniques, the statistical test used is Chi-Square, a research instrument that is a questionnaire. The results showed that the work position of the craftsmen could trigger low back pain and obtained a value of p-value = 0.009<0.05. Based on the resultsof the analysis of 45 respondents, it is known that craftsmen who have low-risk work positions experience low back pain in 6 respondents, where 5 respondents have mild low back pain, and 1 respondent has moderate low back pain. Moderate-risk work positions experienced low back pain in 32 respondents, of which 14 respondents had mild lower back pain, and 18 respondents moderate lower back pain. High-risk work positions experienced low back pain in 7 respondents, of which 6 respondents with moderate low backpain, and 1 respondent with high low back pain. The study concluded that there was a relationship between work position and low back pain in filigree craftsmen. The advice from this study is that filigree craftsmen should pay attention to a good and correct work position by stretching muscles.

Abstract

One form of quality of service that patients often complain about is waiting times. Waiting time is the length of time patients wait for health services until they are examined by a doctor.  The patient's time will affect the patient's assessment of service satisfaction at the Puskesmas.waiting time is divided into three, namely the patient's waiting time when registering at the counter to get a queue number, the patient's waiting time to get a doctor's examination, the patient's waiting time to get medicinepatient satisfaction is a person's feeling of pleasure derived from the comparison between pleasure in the activity of a product with his expectations. See from 5 aspects of quick response, reliability, assurance, empathy, physical evidence. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship  of waiting time to outpatient satisfaction. Quantitative research  design with cross sectional approach. The population is 80 patients who visit the Popayato Health Center. The sample size is 80 outpatients or total sampling. The results showed that the waiting time in terms of waiting time for patient registration was the most fast waiting time which was 65 people (81.25%) and dissatisfied as many as 1 person (1.25%) while patients who said long waiting time with satisfaction category satisfied as many as 2 people (2.25%) and dissatisfied as many as 12 people (15%) with a value of pValue = 0.000<0.05. Suggestions are expected to Puskemas Popayato to be able to evaluate patient satisfaction and take actions to increase patient satisfaction and take actions to increase patient satisfaction specifically and improve service quality in general.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease that is a challenge in the world of health. This study aims to determine the effect of booklet media education on reducing blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The study used a quantitative approach. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research with one group pre-test-post test design. The sample was taken by systematic random sampling technique with a sample of 30 respondents. Data collection using observation sheets and data analysis using the Wilcoxon test with a meaning level of 95% (a = 0.05). The results of the study showed that blood sugar levels decreased from Pre-Test to Post-Test with Mean Ranks of 13.50 and statistical test results were obtained p = 0.00p (p < 0.05) so that it can be concluded that there is an influence of booklet media education on reducing blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Work stress is a condition that exceeds the limits of an individual's ability, where the individual is unable to do his job. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work stress and work productivity of openwork craftsmen in Mongolato Village, Telaga District, Gorontalo Regency. This type of research uses quantitative research methods with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study amounted to 84 respondents, with a total sampling sample technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a statistical test, namely Chi-Square. The results showed a relationship between work stress and the work productivity of openwork craftsmen and obtained P Value = 0.005 < 0.05. Based on the results of the analysis of 84 respondents, it is known that filigree craftsmen who experience moderate work stress with work productivity as many as 17 respondents, of which 6 respondents with sufficient productivity, and 11 respondents with good work productivity. Craftsmen who experienced severe work stress with work productivity were 67 respondents, of which 48 respondents with sufficient work productivity, and 19 respondents with good work productivity. The study concludes that there is a relationship between work stress and work productivity. Openwork craftsmen should routinely do recreation together, always be compact in doing work to reduce work stress, and always maintain accuracy, neatness, and always maintain discipline in work so that it can further increase work productivity.

Abstract

Performance is an action taken by a nurse in an organization by their respective authorities and responsibilities. Improve performance and improve nurse performance, one of them is by applying the Professional Nursing Care Method (MAKP) team to improve the quality of nurse performance. The purpose of the study was to analyze the application of the Nursing Care Method (MAKP) Team with nurse performance. Quantitative research design with cross-sectional approach. The population is  52 people with total sampling techniques so the number of samples is 52 people.  The results showed that most TIM nursing care methods were optimal for as many as 35 people with good performance in as many as 36 people, pValue value = 0.000<0.05. Conclusion There is a relationship between the Application of the Nursing Care Method (MAKP) Team with the Performance of Nurses at RSUD dr. M.M. Dunda Limboto, Gorontalo Regency. Suggestions are expected to be input for RSUD dr. M.M. Dunda Limboto in improving service and satisfaction to patients and also for the welfare of nurses who work.

Abstract

The use of good communication techniques during weigh-ins is important in improving patient safety. SBAR communication is a communication technique recommended by JCI to be used in the implementation of weigh-ins to improve patient safety in hospitals. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between SBAR communication and the implementation of nurse weighing in the Inpatient Room of Dr. M.M Dunda Hospital. This research method is quantitative research with a descriptive research design using a cross-sectional design. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire sheets with a population of 35 respondents. The number of respondents was taken using purposive sampling techniques. The data obtained were processed statistically using the Fisher's Exact Test. The results showed that there was a relationship between SBAR communication and the implementation of weigh-in in the Inpatient Room of Dr. M.M Dunda Limboto Hospital with a p-value result of 0.000. In conclusion, there is a relationship between SBAR communication and the implementation of nurse weighing in the Inpatient Room of Dr. M.M Dunda Limboto Hospital (p-value < 0.05). Advice for nurses is expected that nurses always use complete SBAR communication in the implementation of weigh-ins at every shift change.

Abstract

Job or work-related stress is a response that a person may have when faced with demands and work pressures that are not their knowledge and ability to be able to handle it. The purpose of this study is to find out how the stress management of nurses at RSUD dr. M.M Dunda Limboto. This research method is quantitative research with a descriptive analysis research design. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire sheets with a population of 73 respondents. The number of respondents was taken using purposive sampling techniques. The data was obtained by statistically using frequency distribution. The results of nurses' work stress management with an individual approach with sufficient category 60.3%, organizational approach sufficient category 57.5%, and social approach sufficient category 50.7%. It is suggested that this study is expected to add references to health services on how stress management in nurses.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where there is an increase in blood pressure that can affect the function of other organs, such as the heart and kidneys, and even cause death. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of avocado leaf decoction on the elderly. This type of research is quantitative research using a quasi-experimental two-group pretest – post-test research design with a control design. The sample size of 20 respondents consisted of 10 experimental groups and 10 control group respondents determined by purposive sampling techniques. The research instruments used are a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope, observation sheet, food recall sheet, and SOP. The statistical test used is the paired t-test. The results showed a decrease in blood pressure in the intervention group with P value = 0.000 in systolic and diastolic blood pressure which means there was a decrease in blood pressure. The experimental group was given a decoction of avocado leaves 1 time a day for 5 days in the morning. It can be concluded that there is an effect of avocado leaf decoction on lowering blood pressure. It is recommended that people plant avocado trees so that the leaves can be used as traditional medicine to lower blood pressure. And the fruit can be used for other needs.
