Abstract

Diarrhea is a global problem found throughout the world. Based on data from the Indonesian Health Service in 2020, in Indonesia there were 843 babies and 270 adults who experienced diarrhea. There are five pillars in STBM, namely stopping open defecation, washing hands with soap, managing household drinking water and food, securing household waste and safeguarding household liquid waste. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between STBM conditions in general and the incidence of diarrhea. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design and a sample size of 71 respondents. Statistical tests use chi-square. The results of this study show that there is a relationship between CTPS behavior (P=0.001), drinking water and food management behavior (p=0.009) and waste management (p=0.041) with the incidence of diarrhea. However, the results of this study showed that there was no relationship between defecation behavior (P=0.825) and liquid waste management (p=0.510) with the incidence of diarrhea. The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant relationship between STBM behavior and the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers seen from the pillar aspects of hand washing behavior with soap, waste management and eating and drinking management behavior.

Abstract

The main work environment factors which include temperature, lighting, noise, and air circulation are factors that affect the physical, mental, and psychological burden of employees. High physical, mental, and psychological burdens can affect the non-achievement of production output. This is found in Metal Casting SMEs TS Aluminum. The noise level at the TS Aluminum SMEs at the scraping workstation exceeded the normal threshold of 92.42 dB and the lighting at the scraping workstation was below the threshold of 49.8 Lux. This study was conducted to determine the effect of noise and lighting simultaneously or partially on production output at the processing workstation at SMEs TS Aluminum. This study used the multiple linear regression method, with 5 respondents. The equipment used for noise data collection is the Lutron SL-400 Sound Level Meter and lighting is measured using the Lux MeterLX101 A measuring instrument. Based on the results of statistical tests, show that simultaneous and partial noise and lighting variables have a significant positive effect on production output at the processing workstation at SMEs TS Aluminum (p-value < 0.05). Testing the value of multiple coefficients of determination obtained a percentage of 47% of the influence of noise and lighting on productivity variables, while the remaining percentage of 53% was influenced by other variables that were not studied. Suggestions for noise are that SMEs pay more attention to room capacity, pay attention to the layout of employees in filing, installation of room silencers, and workers required to use personal protective equipment (PPE). The lighting suggestion is that SMEs must add lights in every corner of the room so that the lighting is evenly distributed to all rooms.

Abstract

Given the significance of hospitals in the healthcare system, the caliber of hospital medical services has a direct impact on patient health. Optimizing the health supply management system can be used to improve the standard of hospital services. One management concept that concentrates on putting health management into practice is supply management. The administration of health supplies encompasses the following stages: planning, acquiring, storing, distributing, using, and discarding. The purpose of this literature review was to learn more about health supply management techniques that enhance hospital service quality. Finding several papers that satisfied the inclusion criteria was the first step in conducting literature research. Google Scholar is the database source that was used. Citations were drawn from works that were released in the previous five years, from 2018 to 2023. 12 articles that best fit the research title were selected from the total of 22 publications that were found to meet the inclusion criteria. The literature's findings revealed that several hospitals' supply management plans had not been as successful as anticipated. Thus, it has not been possible to improve service quality to the fullest extent possible. This leads one to the conclusion that more improvements in the supply management strategy are necessary to raise the caliber of hospital services.

Abstract

The development of an agency is the task of a leader to make it happen. personal power and follower involvement in the problem-solving and decision-making process. Decision making and problem solving are not centered on the leader. Leaders must be able to influence their employees to be responsible in completing their work. The aim of this research is to identify the influence of leadership style on employee performance at the Panca Health Center. The design of this research is cross sectional. The population of this study was 39 Panca Health Center employees, the sampling technique was total sampling. The sample in this research was 39 Panca Health Center employees. The results of the crosstabs test using SPSS 25.0 showed that the application of leadership style at the Panca Community Health Center was more dominant using a democratic leadership style. From these results it can be seen that respondents with performance in the moderate category stated a leadership style in the high category more than the leadership style in the high category, namely 16 (41 %) respondents. And the results of the correlation coefficient test are 0.815, then for significant results the t test and f test are carried out, namely 0.000 < 0.005, which means this shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Shows that democratic leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance. So it can be concluded that the better the leadership implemented by the head of the community health center, the more the quality and quantity of employee performance at the Panca Community Health Center will increase. In advancing an agency, cooperation between leaders and employees is needed. Leaders must be able to understand the character of employees and the conditions they face in order to create an effective leadership style. Implementing an effective leadership style can improve the quality and quantity of employee performance
