Abstract

Effective and safe anesthesia in eye surgery is essential to ensure optimal perioperative care for both children and adults, so hemodynamic monitoring is essential. The use of local anesthesia can increase systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure without changing heart rate. A quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach involved 138 patients with purposive sampling techniques. Univariate analysis with frequency distribution was used in this study. The results showed that pre-anesthetic systolic TD ≥ 147 mmHg as much as 56%, pre-anesthesia diastolic TD < 78 mmHg as much as 51%, MAP ≥ 101 mmHg as much as 54%, and heart rate < 79 x / minute. While systolic TD after anesthesia ≥ 147 mmHg as much as 59%, diastolic TD ≥ 78 mmHg as much as 62%, MAP ≥ 101 mmHg as much as 64%, and heart rate < 79 x / minute as much as 58%. Changes in systolic and diastolic blood pressure were found in pre and post-anesthesia, so more detailed monitoring is needed.

The type of research used by the author in this study is the qualitative method. Qualitative research researchers become the main instrument in collecting data that can be directly related to the instrument or object of research. Data collection method using Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) observation sheet and Nordic Body Map (NBM) checklist sheet as well as interview guidelines. Workers often experience complaints of aches or pains both while working, and after doing work on the right shoulder, left shoulder, back, upper arm, forearm, and waist. The posture of workers when making a bouquet of balloons either when pumping, forming, or assembling balloons on average has a high risk level for complaints of musculoskeletal disorders because workers carry out work with a sitting, bending, squatting, and half-sitting work attitude, there are repetitive movements.

Introduction: A person is considered elderly if they are 60 years of age or older, regardless of gender. The Riau Province Central Statistics Agency projects that 482,933 persons will be among the elderly in 2022. According to data spanning from January 2023 to March 2023, there was a 20% monthly decline in the average number of senior individuals visiting Health Care for the senior. Seniors who receive fewer visits from senior Health Care may find it more difficult to keep track of their health and may exhibit signs of degenerative illnesses brought on by compromised physical components. Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify the variables that affect how often the elderly in the West Dumai Health Center Working Area use Health Care. Method: In this study, stratified random sampling and quantitative techniques with a cross-sectional design were used. There were 973 respondents in the research population, and 91 respondents made up the research sample. In this study, a questionnaire is used. This study was conducted from September to October 2023. Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses were used. Logistic regression and the chi-square test were the statistical tests that were employed. Result: The research results showed that there was an influence of Education p value=0.000, Occupation p value=0.010, Knowledge p value=0.000, Attitude p value=0.001, Family Support p value=0.016 and no influence of Distance to Health Services p value=0.627 with the use of Health Care for the elderly. Based on the results of the logistic regression test, the most influential variable is attitude with an Exp(B) value of 7.276. Conclusion: The study's findings indicated that while the distance between health services and the use of Health Care by the elderly in the West Dumai Health Center Working Area is unaffected, education, employment, knowledge, attitudes, and family support are. To keep an eye on the elderly's condition, it was desired that health professionals, especially those at Community Health Centers, would provide more counseling and education on the value of Health Care for the elderly and routinely visit Health Care for the elderly at least once a month.
