Results: The results of research on success in continuous upright writing skills through the use of fine writing book media in grade I students of SDN Gelang 2 Tulangan Sidoarjo showed an improvement. Indication of the achievement of the final evaluation results of research in the pre-research student scores ≥ 70 amounted to 8 people or 32%; in the first cycle the score of students ≥ 70 amounted to 18 people or 72%; and in the second cycle the scores of students ≥ 70 amounted to 24 people or 96%. Novelty: The implementation of continuous upright writing learning with the help of fine writing book media and learning using continuous upright letters at SDN Gelang 2 Tulangan Sidoarjo which has never been researched using the latest year's data.

Objectives: The role of students is expected to be able to improve the economy with good financial management patterns. This seems difficult to achieve because the financial literacy of youth age groups such as university students and school students is relatively low. Method: This research analyzes factors that influence students' personal financial management, such as financial literacy, work experience, and socio-economic status. This quantitative research used random sampling techniques with a sample size of 32 respondents. Data was collected using questionnaires and questionnaires which were then analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results: The research results show that financial literacy, work experience and parents' socio-economic status simultaneously or partially influence students' personal financial management. Novelty: This research focuses on accounting education students whose scientific basis is in accordance with financial literacy and is still rarely researched.

Results: The findings highlight the significance of financial literacy in elementary education, emphasizing its role in fostering financial management skills and responsible decision-making among students. The savings programs facilitated by Bank Jatim demonstrated a positive impact on students' financial knowledge, behavior, and attitudes. Through regular savings activities, students developed habits of diligence, discipline, independence, and patience. Additionally, the collaboration between schools and the bank provided a practical platform for financial learning, helping students distinguish between wants and needs and relieving financial burdens on parents. Novelty: This research contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence of the effectiveness of school-based savings programs in enhancing financial literacy among elementary students. By employing a qualitative case study approach, the study offers insights into the implementation and outcomes of such initiatives, highlighting their potential to instill lifelong financial skills and positively impact students' financial well-being.

Abstract

Objective: The technology is main component in innovation, especially on industry manufacturing to increases production capability. The aim of this study is to examine the total factor productivity growth (TFPg) and its component in Indonesian industry manufacturing based on technology improvement. Method: The stochastic frontier analyses are used to calculate (TFPg). This study attempts to analyses the variation in the TFPg across year, and technology adaption. Results:  The first is the analysis of year-wise comparison, show that experiences negative TFP growth or the average TFP score of current period degrades down from average score in the prior period. Second is the analysis based on technology adaption, show that the degression of productivities are mainly driven by technological regress indicating that the majority firms need innovation in technology utilized in the production process. The medium-high technology on industry manufacturing has highest score of TFP, means technology improvement support on firm productivity. Novelty: The lack of analysis regarding TFPg using a technology adaptation approach makes it a challenge to dig deeper.

Abstract

Objective: This research try to identify the condition of circular migration still exist in Surabaya particularly weekly and monthly shuttle migrants and the settled migrants. The research was to examine demographic of the migrant students of State University of Surabaya Campus and their impact on the organizational culture. Furthermore, the study aimed at establishing whether economic characteristics and different demographic factors, to name but employment status of parents, wages, and region of origin of the migrants affected circular migration and joining organizations. Method: In this research, a survey was administered in the year 2023, out of which seven factors were selected under the two broad headings of economic and demographic factors. For descriptive analysis, the probit analysis was performed while for estimation of the impact of the above independent variables, the regression analysis with Stata 10 based on Linear Probability Model (LPW) was conducted. Results: The findings of the result indicated that employment in service sector and urban origin has a positive and significant effect of the participation in circular migration and joining organisations. On the other hand, employment in the industrial sector and parents’ greater distance are factors that inherently reduce this option. Therefore, the last analysis revealed that both parent wages and trade employment have a relatively little impact on organizational membership and migration, but gender does not have such an impact. Novelty:  The current work is an effort to unfold some aspects of circular migration which has not received much attention in the existing literature with the focus on the city of Surabaya. It alone focuses on how economic and demography variable, thus employment status of parents and wages, and urban/rural background, moreover influences circular migration and organisational participation of the students at the State University of Surabaya. This study uses more sophisticated method of probit analysis and Linear Probability Model (LPW) to identify the nature of these variables affecting migration behaviour with a clear differentiation between the service sector and the industrial sector, and impact of the population density of urban centres.
