Abstract

This article evaluates the transformation of consultation services by the Integrated Service Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children (P2TP2A) in Malang City for child victims of physical violence. The research utilizes a mixed-methods approach with a descriptive quantitative and qualitative design. Quantitative data was collected through questionnaires measuring the stress levels and psychological recovery of children, while qualitative data was obtained through in-depth interviews with victims and counselors. The results indicate significant transformation in consultation services, particularly in the consistent implementation of SOPs. This is reflected in the reduction of stress, improved understanding of personal rights, better social behavior, and reduced aggressiveness in children. However, challenges such as limited session time and suboptimal family involvement still persist. The study concludes that the transformation of consultation services at P2TP2A Malang is effective in supporting the recovery of child victims of physical violence but requires further adjustments to address existing challenges. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for improving the quality of consultation services at P2TP2A and similar institutions.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic psychotherapy into contemporary mental health and rehabilitation frameworks has gained increased scholarly attention in recent years. This study presents a systematic literature review of peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2025, focusing on the application, effectiveness, and theoretical foundations of Islamic psychotherapy in diverse settings. Utilizing the PRISMA 2020 protocol, 45 articles were selected from databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and Garuda. Thematic analysis revealed three major trends: the implementation of Islamic psychotherapy within faith-based institutions, the theoretical integration of Islamic principles with Western psychotherapeutic models such as CBT, and outcome-based empirical evaluations. Despite promising findings, the review identified significant gaps in scalability, methodological rigor, and digital adaptation. Few studies explored applications in public institutions or the potential of mobile and teletherapy platforms. The findings underscore the need for a more inclusive, interdisciplinary approach that bridges spiritual values and scientific practice. This study contributes to the development of culturally sensitive mental health strategies and calls for greater integration of Islamic psychotherapy into mainstream psychological services, supported by empirical validation, professional training, and digital innovation

Abstract

Post-traumatic stress disorder or what is commonly known as PTSD is a mental problem that occurs because someone experiences a traumatic event. Traumatic events that generally cause PTSD are accidents, sexual abuse, experiencing physical violence, and so on. However, this is not easy to research because it is personal. The thing that the writer fears most is that if the writer wants to dig deeper into the victim's traumatic incident, it will bring up feelings of trauma again, so the writer is very careful in taking research steps. The research method used is a qualitative method with case studies. The data source used is primary data, the data of which was obtained directly from interviews with the Pinrang Regency DP3A and victims of domestic violence in Pinrang Regency, while secondary data was obtained from books, documents and journals/previous research theses which are related to this research. The data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that firstly, victims of domestic violence really need a helping hand from their families to return and reconcile, accompany them and understand what they are experiencing because the trauma and shame they feel makes them weak. Social support in the form of advice and suggestions from family, village government and community leaders really helps them to solve problems. After being given social support, there are those who choose to separate and there are also those who stay. On average, victims of domestic violence treatment experienced significant PTSD so that at that time the victim's mental and physical condition really needed strong support. Second, the main triggers for domestic violence in Pinrang district are children, jealousy and economic problems. Acts of domestic violence experienced not only once or twice but often occur, causing the victim to feel excessive trauma. The way for victims to be free from this treatment is that some choose to separate and there are also those who survive to give each other a chance and improve each other.
