Abstract

Growing awareness of environmental issues has encouraged public sector organizations to integrate sustainability principles into human resource management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) and its impact on the performance of Indonesia’s State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Medan City Government. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis across several regional government agencies within the Medan City Government. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which comprises data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that GHRM has been implemented through the digitalization of personnel administration, reduced paper consumption, environmental awareness training, and the adoption of an environmentally friendly workplace culture. These practices have contributed to improvements in work efficiency, employee discipline, public service innovation, and ASN productivity. However, several challenges remain, including employees’ limited understanding of GHRM, budget constraints, and the absence of well-developed policies specifically governing GHRM practices in the public sector. This study recommends strengthening relevant policies and implementing continuous training programs to support the transformation toward a green bureaucracy within the Medan City Government

Abstract

This study examines the effects of perceived ease of use and perceived security of QRIS on digital transaction intention among Generation Z in West Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency. A quantitative research approach was employed using questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results demonstrate that perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect on digital transaction intention (t = 8.291, p < 0.001), indicating that users are more likely to adopt QRIS when they perceive the system as simple and convenient to use. Perceived security also has a positive and significant effect on digital transaction intention (t = 4.148, p < 0.001), suggesting that users' confidence in transaction safety and data protection encourages the adoption of digital payment services. Furthermore, perceived ease of use and perceived security simultaneously exert a significant influence on digital transaction intention (F = 116.653, p < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.706) indicates that 70.6% of the variation in digital transaction intention is explained by these two variables. These findings highlight that ease of use and system security are key determinants of Generation Z's intention to adopt QRIS as a digital payment method.

Abstract

Intensifying competition in Islamic digital banking requires financial institutions to continuously monitor customer experiences and transform them into strategic business intelligence. However, existing evaluation approaches largely rely on isolated indicators, such as application ratings or customer satisfaction, which provide limited insights for competitive benchmarking. This study proposes a Competitive Business Intelligence (CBI) framework to evaluate the competitive performance of Islamic digital banking applications in Indonesia by integrating multidimensional customer review analytics. Using 7,424 Google Play Store reviews from four Islamic digital banking applications, the study identifies key competitive strengths, service weaknesses, and strategic priorities from customers' perspectives. The results indicate that one application consistently demonstrated superior competitive performance, while authentication and login issues represent the most critical barrier to customer experience across applications. Furthermore, digital payment services consistently emerge as the primary competitive strength. The proposed Competitive Business Intelligence Index (CBII) offers a multidimensional benchmarking tool that supports evidence-based strategic decision-making, service innovation, and competitive positioning. This study contributes a practical business intelligence framework that enables Islamic digital banks to leverage customer feedback as a strategic resource for sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study explores the psychological mechanisms behind impulse buying behavior among Generation Z consumers on TikTok Live Streaming Commerce, with a particular focus on fashion products. Using the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework, the study investigates how six external stimuli streamer attractiveness, trustworthiness, expertise, and product-related attributes such as usefulness, convenience, and price affect internal psychological states, namely perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment, which in turn influence the urge to buy impulsively. A total of 413 valid responses were collected through purposive sampling and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that perceived enjoyment is the strongest predictor of impulse buying urge, followed by perceived usefulness. Interestingly, perceived usefulness does not significantly influence perceived enjoyment, indicating that emotional engagement in live streaming commerce is shaped more by interactive and affective elements than by rational evaluations. Streamer characteristics such as attractiveness, expertise, and trustworthiness significantly enhance perceived enjoyment, while product usefulness, convenience, and price contribute positively to perceived usefulness. These findings confirm that impulse buying among Gen Z is primarily driven by emotionally charged viewing experiences, rather than utilitarian considerations. The study extends the application of the S-O-R model to real-time social commerce environments, offering theoretical insights into the dual roles of affective and cognitive appraisals, and provides practical implications for businesses aiming to optimize consumer engagement through TikTok Live

Abstract

The digitalization of regional financial governance through the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) has become a priority agenda in Indonesia's public financial reform, yet its success also depends on the competence of financial management human resources within each Regional Government Organization (OPD). This study aims to examine the effect of digitalization of regional financial Accounting System and human resource competence on government agency performance accountability, with the quality of local government financial statements as a mediating variable, in OPDs within the Rokan Hilir Regency Government. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal-associative design. The population consists of financial management employees across all OPDs in Rokan Hilir Regency, with purposive sampling directed at Financial Administration Officers (PPK), treasurers, and accounting/reporting staff. Primary data will be collected through a 1-5 Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS), with mediation tested through Variance Accounted For (VAF) and bootstrapping. This study is expected to provide empirical evidence on the role of accounting system digitalization and HR competence in improving financial statement quality and government performance accountability, and to serve as a policy input for the Rokan Hilir Regency Government in accelerating the digital transformation of regional financial management.

Abstract

The rapid development of Indonesia’s digital business and social commerce ecosystem has positioned influencers as central actors in contemporary marketing dynamics. However, the shift from authentic personal recommendations to large-scale commercialization has created multidimensional complexities that contribute to legal compliance issues, social erosion, and ethical dilemmas. This study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the role and position of influencers in Indonesia’s digital business ecosystem through three analytical perspectives: juridical, sociological, and philosophical. This study employs a qualitative descriptive-analytical method by integrating socio-legal and doctrinal research approaches. The analysis is based on a synthesis of reputable scholarly literature, statutory regulations, and data on digital industry performance. The findings reveal that, from a juridical perspective, the legal status of influencers remains ambiguous, particularly regarding accountability for misleading endorsements under the Consumer Protection Law and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law. Furthermore, the self-regulatory framework established by the Indonesian Advertising Code remains inadequate in addressing hidden advertising practices. From a sociological perspective, the exploitation of parasocial relationships and the commodification of social capital have contributed to increased digital sales conversions. Nevertheless, these practices have simultaneously led to the erosion of public trust and the emergence of communal sanctions manifested through cancel culture. From a philosophical perspective, influencers reflect an ontological condition of hyperreality and simulacra, an epistemological shift toward affective truth in the post-truth era, and axiological alienation resulting from self-commodification. This study recommends the introduction of specific regulations governing mandatory sponsorship disclosure, the revision of legal protections for digital consumers, and the establishment of continuous oversight mechanisms for digital platforms.

Abstract

Social media has fundamentally transformed consumer behavior in obtaining information and making purchasing decisions. TikTok has evolved into a social commerce platform capable of influencing consumer preferences through short-form videos, user-generated content, live shopping, and influencer marketing. Meanwhile, the phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) encourages individuals to follow digital trends, potentially influencing purchasing decisions, particularly in the skincare industry. This study aims to examine the influence of FOMO and TikTok on skincare purchase decisions in the digital era. A quantitative associative approach was employed involving 63 female students who use Daviena Skincare products. The respondents were selected using saturated sampling, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The findings reveal that FOMO does not significantly affect purchase decisions, whereas TikTok has a positive and significant influence. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect purchase decisions, explaining 45.5% of the variance. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of social media plays a more dominant role than psychological FOMO in shaping skincare purchase decisions. The study provides practical implications for businesses in developing more effective digital marketing strategies through social media.
