Abstract

One of the successes in managing diabetes care is compliance in taking medication. Apart from that, you must have high ability and self-confidence or what is usually called self-efficacy in carrying out good diabetes management. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and medication adherence in diabetes sufferers. This research uses a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used in this research used purposive sampling with a sample size of 52 people with diabetes who received outpatient treatment at RSI Mabarrot MWC NU Bungah in January-February 2024. The instrument used in this research was the Diabetes Management Self Efficacy Scale questionnaire (DMSES-UK) and Morisky Medication Adherences (MMAS-8). Data analysis used the Spearman rank correlation statistical test. The results showed that of the 52 people, 44 people had high self-efficacy, with 38 people (73.1%) having high medication adherence, and 2 (3.8%) people having moderate medication adherence. The results of data analysis show a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 with a correlation coefficient value of 0.552, meaning that there is a strong relationship between self-efficacy and adherence to taking medication in diabetes mellitus sufferers. High self-efficacy will increase adherence to taking medication in diabetes sufferers, because they have a high sense of confidence in managing diabetes care.

Diabetes Mellitus is an infectious disease that proliferates continuously, usually the side effects are not distinguished because the side effects appear mild such as weakness, wounds that do not heal, and polyuria. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hyperbaric on blood sugar reduction and wound healing phase of DM patients. The method used in this study is systematic review with systematic review (PRISMA) using several journal databases from Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Pubmed from 2019-2024 with the keywords "Diabetes Mellitus", "Hyperbaric", "Decrease in blood sugar levels ”, “wound healing phase of DM patients”. 10 articles were ready to be reviewed 10 articles were obtained with PRISMA. The results of the systematic review study showed that there was an effect of hyperbaric administration on reducing blood sugar levels and the wound healing phase of patients with DM. It is hoped that hyperbaric therapy will prevent complications from DM disease.

Technological developments in Indonesia require the government to move quickly to implement a fast, accurate and up-to-date information system in the health sector. In implementing this information system, the government created an information system (SIMPUS). The national e-health strategy is a comprehensive approach to planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the use of information and communication technology in the health sector nationally, which is becoming a trend in global health services, namely electronic health records. Information systems at community health centers have been developed to overcome problems such as data input, as a primary data source for managing health statistical data. Simpus is an application program or computer software created with the aim of supporting community health center management in providing services quickly and easily to patients. Optimal use of SIMPUS can reduce workload and increase the efficiency of registration services to patients. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the SIMPUS sample at the Tasikmadu Karanganyar Community Health Center. Research Method is a Observational research with a cross-sectional study design was conducted in Tasikmadu. Results Shows that the largest profession is nurse /midwife /laboratory /pharmacist /healthanalysis /physiotherapy with 28 (50.00%) people, while the smallest profession is general practitioner/functional/dentist with 5 (12.50%).

Abstract

The leading infectious disease that kills children under five worldwide is still pneumonia. According to the WHO, Indonesia has the eighth-highest pneumonia-related death rate among 15 nations for toddlers and children because of low Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine vaccination rates. The study design employs a cross-sectional methodology and correlation analytics. With a population of 300 and a sample of 75, the sampling method used was accidental sampling. The Chi Square test type in SPSS Version 25 was used to examine the results. According to the study's findings, 36% of mothers had high understanding, 64% had poor knowledge, 33.3% were working mothers, 66.7% were not, and 36% had received the PCV vaccine while 64% had not. Maternal knowledge (p value 0.032) and job status with PCV immunization (p value 0.000) were revealed to be related by the Chi Square test. Given that the p value is less than the alpha value (a) = 0.05, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, indicating a relationship between the mother's work level and her knowledge and her decision to vaccinate her children against PCV. In addition to knowledge and employment situation, other factors that may impact the decision to vaccinate infants against PCV include age, education, family support, perception, reminders, information the mother has received, distance from home, vaccine composition, and vaccine availability. It is advised that the Community Health Center enhance the way its health education initiatives for infant PCV vaccination are carried out.
