Abstract

Background: Low back pain (LBP) is generally suffered by adults due to the position of the activity while working continuously. LBP can have an impact on an individual's quality of life because it can cause pain and impaired body/ movement functions. This study aims to systematically and quantitatively synthesized the relationships of sitting posture position, working duration, and low back pain in workers.Subjects and Method: A systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted by collecting articles from a number of databases such as PubMed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. The keywords used in the article search were “Low Back Pain” AND “Low Back Pain” AND “Office Employees” “work attitude”, “work attitude” AND “years of service OR “Low Back Pain” Low Back Pain OR work attitude” “years of service” OR “work attitude” “Work attitude AND Low Back Pain OR Low Back Pain AND “year of service “Low Back Pain” AND “adjusted odds ratio” “Years of service” AND “adjusted odds ratio ”Pathophysiology Low Back Pain". Articles were collected and selected using the PICO model, including: (1) Population = office workers, (2) Intervention = sitting position and length of service, (3) Comparison= without intervention, and (4) Outcome= low back pain. Inclusion criteria in this study is full-text, the article uses an observational study design, the article is published from 2004 to 2021, the research population is workers, reports the Adjusted Odd Ratio (AOR). The articles that have been collected are selected using the PRISMA diagram. The qualitative synthesis of research data was tested using the Review Manager application (RevMan 5.3).Results: Meta-analysis of 9 cross-sectional studies showed that workers who worked 5 years had a risk of experiencing low back pain 1.43 times compared to <5 years (aOR= 1.87; 95% CI= 1.43 to 0.95; p= 0.08). Meta-analysis of 7 cross-sectional studies showed that workers who sat for 8 hours had a risk of experiencing low back pain 1.31 times compared to <8 hours (aOR= 1.31; 95% CI = 0.64 to 2.54, p= 0.43).Conclusion: Length of work 5 years and sitting position 8 hours increase the risk of experiencing low back pain in office employees. Keywords: low back pain, sitting position, working period, office workerCorrespondence: Herawati Prianggi. The development of technology and information influences various aspects, one of which is the health sector, known as e-health. One application of e-health. This is online registration which is carried out together with direct registration, but to inform the public there must be education regarding online and offline registration so that the public understands the process. The goal of service is patient satisfaction, where according to minimum service standards, the customer satisfaction level is more than 90%. It is hoped that an effective, efficient registration system and minimal waiting time will increase patient satisfaction. Quantitative research type with a cross sectional approach. The research sample of patients who registered online and manually was divided into two groups, namely the online registration group and the direct registration group using accidental sampling techniques. The data analysis technique uses the chi square statistical test. From the results of the bivariate analysis it is known that the data analyzed using the independent t-test shows that the average knowledge score in the offline group (Mean= 14.95; SD= 2.87) is greater than the average knowledge score in the group with online registration ( Mean= 11.74; SD= 2.74), and this result is statistically significant (p<0.001). Online registration group and direct registration at Colomadu 1 Community Health Center.

Abstract

Technological developments in Indonesia require the government to move quickly to implement a fast, accurate and up-to-date information system in the health sector. In implementing this information system, the government created an information system (SIMPUS). The national e-health strategy is a comprehensive approach to planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the use of information and communication technology in the health sector nationally, which is becoming a trend in global health services, namely electronic health records. Information systems at community health centers have been developed to overcome problems such as data input, as a primary data source for managing health statistical data. Simpus is an application program or computer software created with the aim of supporting community health center management in providing services quickly and easily to patients. Optimal use of SIMPUS can reduce workload and increase the efficiency of registration services to patients. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the SIMPUS sample at the Tasikmadu Karanganyar Community Health Center. Research Method is a Observational research with a cross-sectional study design was conducted in Tasikmadu. Results Shows that the largest profession is nurse /midwife /laboratory /pharmacist /healthanalysis /physiotherapy with 28 (50.00%) people, while the smallest profession is general practitioner/functional/dentist with 5 (12.50%).

Abstract

Background: Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 is a hyperglycemic disease due to insensitivity of cells to insulin. Insulin levels may decrease slightly or be in the normal range. The level of adherence of type 2 diabetes patients is lower than type 1 diabetes. Compliance with medication and taking medication in DM patients has a very important role in controlling blood sugar levels. HBM is a model that describes a person's knowledge of health threats and understanding of recommended behaviors to prevent or treat health problems based on an assessment of feasibility and benefits compared to costs. This study aimed to estimate the effect of HBM, especially the severity and self-efficacy constructs.Subjects and Method: This study was conducted using a systematic review and meta-analysis study design using PICO. Population: type-2 diabetic patients. Intervention: high severity perception and high self-efficacy. Comparison: low severity perception, and low self-efficacy. Outcome: tertiary prevention behaviors. The articles used in this study came from 4 databases, namely Google Scholar, Pubmed, Science Direct and Proquest. The article keywords are “health belief model” OR “perceived severity” OR “self-efficacy” AND “type 2 diabetes”. The articles included in this study are full paper articles, cross-sectional study designs, 2012-2021 and the size of the relationship between Adj Odds Ratio. Article selection is done using PRISMA. Articles were analyzed using the Review Manager 5.3 application. Results: A total of 12 cross-sectional studies were reviewed in this study. A meta-analysis of 7 cross-sectional studies showed that strong perceived severity increased the likelihood of implementing tertiary prevention behaviors in type 2 diabetes patients by 4.69 times (aOR= 4.69; 95% CI= 1.92 to 11.47; p= 0.007). A meta-analysis of 9 cross-sectional studies showed that slightly stronger perceived self-efficacy increased the likelihood of implementing tertiary prevention behaviors in type 2 diabetes patients by 1.68 times (aOR= 1.68; 95% CI= 1.03 to 2.74; p= 0.040).Conclusion: Severity perception and self-efficacy are predictors for tertiary prevention of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Keywords: predictors, tertiary prevention, type-2 diabetes mellitus, health belief model.Correspondence:Etanaulia Marsim.
