Abstract

This research is PTK (Classroom Action Assessment) which aims to find out the results of learning science class students through the application of Discovery Learning models. (1) In the implementation of the first cycle, the number of students who achieved mastery learning individually was 12 people or 54.54%, while 10 other people or 45.46% had not achieved learning completeness. Based on the KKM that has been set at school, each student is said to have completed learning if the proportion of student answers and learning abilities is ≥ 75 (individual completeness), and a class is said to have been completed if ≥ 80% of students have completed (classical completeness). So it can be concluded that the classical mastery of student learning for cycle I has not been achieved. The results of student learning in cycle I obtained a result of 54.54% which was included in the less category. (2) in the application of the Discovery Learning learning model cycle II there is an increase in student activity in learning science in class VI MIN 49 BireuenThe application of the Discovery Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes in science learning in class VI MIN 49 Bireuen. It can be seen in the data of cycle II that there was an increase of 19 people or 86.36% while 3 people or 13.64% had not yet achieved learning mastery.

(2)  the  students listening skill  without dictation method  got  the mean  65  and standard deviation is 12,86, The t-test results also show that t(observed) 2,45 is higher than t(table) at a significance level of 5% (0.05) with 58 degrees of freedom of 2.045. From the results of 2,45> 2.045 result in H0  (null hypothesis) rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) accepted. So that, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) proposed  is accepted  and  null  (Ho)  is  rejected.  So it can be conclude that   there  is  better  of using dictation method in listening skill.

The instrument used is a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale model. The results of the instrument validity test produced 29 valid items and the reliability was 0.905. Research data was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The research findings show that with the correlation obtained from the SPSS output model summary 26.00, the results of the hypothesis test using the Product Moment Correlation test show an output of r = 0.989 with an Asymp.Sig value. = 0.000 (2-tailed) is smaller than < 0.005, then Ha is accepted. Here there is a positive correlation coefficient, which means that 10 students experienced an increase in student self-efficacy scores from the Pre Test score to the Post Test score. The difference in increase in Mean Rank or average increase is 30.00, the correlation coefficient is 0.989 with an influence level of 98.9% and the rest is influenced by other variables.
