Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas sistem kontrol wireless untuk motor penggerak pada tempat tidur pasien (bed patient) manual berbasis frekuensi radio. Sistem kontrol ini bisa membantu meningkatkan manfaat pada tempat tidur pasien produksi dalam negeri. Di Indonesia sudah banyak yang mampu membuat tempat tidur pasien manual dengan kualitas yang baik. Harga tempat tidur pasien elektrik sangat mahal dan harus impor. Peningkatan produksi alat kesehatan dalam negeri seperti sistem kontrol wireless tempat tidur pasien ini akan mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap impor alat kesehatan. Penggunaan alat kesehatan produksi dalam negeri harganya lebih terjangkau dan dengan kualitas yang sama memungkinkan menurunkan biaya kesehatan di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem kontrol wireless motor penggerak tempat tidur pasien berbasis frekuensi radio dapat bekerja dengan baik. Sistem kontrol ini mampu mengontrol motor penggerak sampai 5 Ampere. Respon remote kontrolnya juga mencukupi untuk kebutuhan pasien saat akan mengubah posisi bed pasien yang digunakannya.

Abstract

Polymer viscosity is an important thing to study in rheology. Empirical and mathematical approaches must be carried out to determine the mechanism that occurs in the polymer when it enters the melting zone. We know that polymers are non-Newtonian materials when they enter the melting transition region. However, another unique characteristic related to the viscosity of the polymer makes the polymer a superior material according to its application. Therefore, in this paper, we will briefly review Newtonian and non-Newtonian approaches to polymer viscosity. Maybe this paper can help become a reference for further applications in materials that have flowing properties.Keywords: polymer, viscosity, non-Newtonian, Newtonian

Abstract

This research was conducted by identifying one of the problems that exist in the world of health, namely monitoring human health conditions in real time and automatically. The purpose of this study is to realize an Arduino Uno-based instrumentation tool by utilizing a heart rate sensor and respiratory frequency in humans in overcoming these problems. The research method applied is to measure health conditions by determining two indicators of the measured object of research, namely heart rate and breathing frequency. As comparison data, measuring instruments are used in determining the accuracy of the instrumentation made. Based on the measurement results from nine samples of health condition data, the results for the heart rate were 3.33 BPM with an accuracy of 96.67%, and the results for the respiratory frequency were 2.4 X/min with an instrument accuracy of 97.60%. With these results, it is concluded that the instrumentation made is accurate enough to be used as an additional means of monitoring health conditions in real time and automatically..Keywords: Arduino Uno,  Heart rate, breathing frequency

Abstract

Autoclave is a tool used to sterilize medical instruments such as surgical knives and scissors. The process of autoclave sterilization is to provide heat energy to the autoclave. Hot steam will rise into the closed chamber. The control system will monitor the temperature until the required temperature is reached (121-124 °C). Temperature measurement in the autoclave is done using a thermocouple sensor. Temperature testing is done by comparing temperature measurements using a thermocouple and a mercury thermometer. Testing with a thermocouple produces output that is linear and comparable to measurements using a mercury thermometer. The correlation coefficient value of the measurement results using a mercury thermometer is 0.99982 and a thermocouple is 0.99894. Furthermore, the test is carried out by looking at the change in the line on the indicator tape to the length of time for sterilization in the autoclave chamber. As a result, the longer the sterilization time, the change in the line on the indicator tape will look darker, which indicates the sterilization process is going well.Keywords: temperature measurement, autoclave, type K thermocouple, indicator tape

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the effect of using experimental methods using guided inquiry learning models on students' creative thinking skills in physics learning. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the experimental method combined with the guided inquiry learning model had on the creative thinking abilities of MA Al-Iman Bulus Purworejo students and to determine the effectiveness of learning physics through experimental methods on the subject of uniformly changing straight motion. Class X Mathematics and Natural Sciences became the population in this study, while the sample was class X MIPA 2 as many as 35 students. The technique used to collect data was in the form of a test method. Then the accumulated data is calculated using N-Gain and the data analysis used is the normality test and the t-test. The results of the N-Gain calculation are 0.44 and are included in the medium category. Normality test results obtained Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) > 0.05. The results of data analysis through t-test obtained the results of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, so from this study it was concluded that there was an effect of the experimental method using the guided inquiry learning model on the creative thinking ability of students. Keywords: experimental method, guided inquiry, creative thinking ability

Abstract

Produksi batik menghasilkan limbah cair yang memiliki dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan karena bahan kimia hasil pengolahan.  Metode filtrasi-elektrokoagulasi dirasa efektif untuk menurunkan kandungan COD dan TSS pada limbah cair batik sehingga layak buang. Telah dilakukan pengolahan limbah batik menggunakan metode filtrasi-elektrokoagulasi dengan variasi jarak elektroda (2, 4, dan 6) cm dan waktu kontak (60, 90, 120 dan 150) menit. Digunakan elektroda alumunium (Al-Al) dengan ketebalan 0,1 cm dan volume limbah 2500 ml. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efisiensi penurunan COD dan TSS tertinggi pada variasi jarak 2 cm dengan waktu kontak 150 menit. Efisiensi penurunan COD sebesar 95% sedangkan efisiensi penurunan TSS sebesar 94%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin dekat jarak antar elektroda dan semakin lama waktu kontak maka semakin tinggi penurunan kandungan COD dan TSS.Keywords: Filtrasi-elektrokoagulasi, Limbah batik, COD, TSS

Abstract

Education is very important in one's life. A student must have a good scientific attitude so that the learning process runs smoothly. In the learning process doing physics practicum so that the material is better understood. This practicum was carried out using the Pre-Experimental Designs method. This method is used to improve the scientific attitude and scientific literacy of students who are still low through physics practicum. This practicum was carried out on offline uniform motion material (GLB) in class X MIPA 1 MA Al-Iman Bulus Purworejo with 35 students and divided into 4 groups. The results of the research in class X MIPA 1 MA Al-Iman Bulus Purworejo showed that the scientific attitude of the students was good, namely in terms of curiosity, discipline, responsibility and cooperation. The results showed that there was an increase in the results of the pretest and posttest carried out before and after the practicum. The average pretest score obtained is 7.1 8.0 then the posttest score is 8.1 9.0. The data proves that practicum activities using the Pre-Experimental Designs method can improve the scientific attitude and scientific literacy of class X MIPA 1 MA Al-Iman Bulus Purworejo students.Keywords : Scientific Attitude, Pre-Experimental Designs, Scientific Literacy

Abstract

This study aims to improve the scientific literacy of students in the measurement practicum. The research method used is the experimental design method of pre experimental design (nondesigns) using One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design to determine scientific literacy ability. The measured scientific literacy ability consists of 3 aspects, namely the concept of science, the process of science, the situation and the realm of application. The research activity was attended by 28 students of class X TKRO-F. The learning model used is discovery learning. Discovery learning is divided into six stages, namely stimulation or giving stimulation, problem identification, data collection, data processing, verification, and generalization or conclusions. The research instrument uses pretest questions which are carried out at the beginning of the practicum activity and the posttest is carried out after the practicum. The results of this study are able to measure success in carrying out physics practicum. Based on the increase in the value of the scientific literacy test results for the Measurement material, it was significantly 10.4 points, while the percentage of students who completed it increased by 2.52% and there was a decrease in the number of students who did not complete it by 2.52%. The increase in scientific literacy skills calculated using the N-gain is 0.32 in the medium category. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the discovery learning model can be used to improve students' scientific literacy skills.Keywords: discovery learning, scientific literacy, pre test, post test, practicum

Abstract

Kajian tentang tiga fenomena alam pada bintang neutron telah dilakukan. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan berbagai gambaran atau diskripsi yang luas terhadap pemahaman bintang neutron. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode telaah pustaka. Hasil kajian ini adalah densitas atau kerapatan bintang neutron terbesar terdapat pada inti bintang kemudian dikuti oleh kerak dalam dan kerak luar. Kerak luar memiliki kerapatan sekitar 4×1011 g/cm3, kerak dalam memiliki kerapatan sekitar 4 × 1013 g/cm3 dan inti memiliki kerapatan sekitar 4 × 1014 g/cm3. Medan magnet bintang neutron terkuat yang dimiliki objek di alam semesta yaitu dapat mencapai 1018 G. Medan magnet pada bintang neutron bergantung pada nilai besaran B. Medan magnet yang anistropi menyebabkan bentuk bintang neutron terdeformasi dari bentuk bulat sempurna.
