Abstract

ABSTRACTThe use of traditional medical plants has been long time by our ancestors and waspassed from generation to generation. This research was on uses of medicinal plants fortraditional medicine in South Minahasa Tontemboan tribe. The data were collected throughinterview using question. The repondensts was traditional healers (Batra). Based on theresults recorded 26 medical plant species from 18 families consisting of 11 types ofherbaceous shrubs 10 species, 5 species trees was used to cure various diseases.Keywords : Traditional, medicine, plants, species, herbaceous shrubs, trees

AbstractI Putu Anantawijaya. Strategy Development of ''kacang goyang'' agroindustry, Case Study of ''UD Berusaha'' in the Motoboi Kecil Village, South Kotamobagu Sub District under guidance of of A. E Loho as a Chairman, C. B. D. Pakasi dan L.W. Th. Sondakh as members.Agriculture sector have important roles in Indonesian economy. Agro industry is a strategic to increasing the value added of the agriculture yield through the technology, to expand the job field and also to increase the society income. The objective of this research is to know the development strategy of ''kacang goyang'' agroindustry in ''Motoboi Kecil'' Village, South Kotamobagu Sub District, Kotamobagu City.The collecting data conducted in 3 months from November, 2013 until February, 2014 in ''Motoboi Kecil'' Village, South Kotamobagu SubDistrict, Kotamabagu City. The source of data used were a primary data and secondary data. This analyzes used descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis.The results showed that Gross Profit Margin (GPM) of this company is 13,6%, Net Profit Margin (NPM) is 12,5% , Return On Investment is 1,1% and the profitability is Rp.4.876.115. The results of SWOT analysis showed that development direction of this industry can be handle the quality production through the raising of the level of employment technical skills, the raising of the level of production facility quality, optimizing production, the increasing of innovative product packaging, and increasing the promotion.

Abstract

ABSTRACTGoroho plantain (Musa acuminate sp.) is a kind of local endemic food from North Sulawesi. As a carbohydrate source, goroho plantain was mostly consumed by people in that area. Many efforts have been done to promote the composite flour, recently. Substitution of goroho flour to make a various food products such as muffin is one of that attempt. This research was aimed to evaluate the sensoric quality of muffin made from goroho flour. The statistical analysis of this research was Complete Random Design (CRD) where substitution of goroho flour was the treatment. The result of ANOVA showed that substitution of goroho flour were not affected the quality sensoric of muffin in color, smell, flavor and texture of muffin. The organoleptic test of muffin was give the result that substituted by 100 % goroho flour give the most preferred in color (3,84) and flavor (3,80). But the most preferred smell (3,88) of muffin was substituted by 50% goroho flour and the most preferred texture (3,76) of muffin was substituted by 75% goroho flour.Keywords : Goroho Plantain, Muffin.

Abstract

ABSTRACTGuntur Raharjo Marketing Mix of chrysanthemum flower on Sahabat Tani Group at Kakaskasen Dua Village, Tomohon Utara sub district, Tomohon City. Under guidance of Ir. J. Baroleh, Msi as a Chairman, , Dr. Ir. T. F. Lolowang, Msi., and Dr. Ir. G. Kapantow, Mikomp, MSc as members.The objectives of this research is to examine the marketing mix of chrysanthemum at Kakaskasen Dua Village, Tomohon Utara sub district, Tomohon City. And to examine the marketing margin of each institution involved in the Sahabat tani group.Data collection was conducted for three months, since May 2014 until July 2014. The data obtained are primary and secondary data. The primary data obtained through the survey directly to the farmer groups at Kakaskasen Dua Village, Tomohon Utara sub district, Tomohon City. Secondary data optained through agencies associated with this research. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique that intentionally took ten farmers who are members of the Sahabat Tani Group. The analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis.The research results indicated that the marketing mix of Sahabat Tani Group, were product, price, place and promotion as well as marketing margin shown in every agency involved in Sahabat Tani Group.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAgroforestry systems whICH are applied to each region may differ, these differences are influenced by the condition of land, social and cultural. This study aimed to describe the agroforestry systems in Tolok Satu Kecamatan Tompaso Kabupaten Minahasa. The researth was conducted in three weeks starting on August 26, 2013 until 14 September 2013. Farmers who apply agroforestry systems were interviewed based on questionnaire. Their farm lands were surveyed then. The results of this study, there are two patterns of agroforestry systems adopted by the farmers whics are agrisilvikultur and agrosilvopastoral pattern. Forestry trees (cempaka) and agricultural crops (corn, beans, bananas, tomatoes, kidney beans, sweet potatoes, cassava, cloves and coconut),were planted with regular spacing. Livestock kept by farmers such as cows and horses, were tied to the land where the agroforestry system is applied during the day.Key words : Agroforestry System

Abstract

ABSTRACTRAFEL S. SAROINSONG. 100318024. 2014. Inventory Types of Pests on Cropping Chilli (Capsicum annum L.) in the Village Kakaskasen I, Tomohon (Under the guidance of Daisy S. Kandowangko as chairman, Christina L. Salaki and Caroulus S. Rante as a member).This study aims to inventory the types of crop pests and its dominance in chilli (Capsicum annum L.) Organic and Conventional. Field research has been conducted on chilli crop in Village Kakaskasen, Tomohon. Laboratory observations carried out at the Laboratory of Entomology and Pest Plants, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sam Ratulangi. Research carried out for approximately six months which began in March to August 2014. Observations were made in pepper organic and conventional generative phase. Sampling was done by using an insect net with five swing, Yellow Sticky Trap and attractant (petrogenol). Sampling was conducted over 10 times since crop enters the generative phaseResults showed six orders of insect pests associated to the chilli crop Organic and Conventional namely: Order of Coleoptera (Family Scarabaeidae and Curculionidae); Order of Hemiptera (Family Coreidae and Pentatomidae); Order of Homoptera (Family Aphididae); Order of Thysanoptera (Family Thripidae); Order Diptera (Family Tephritidae); and Order of Lepidoptera (Family Noctuidae). Insects dominate Organic chilli planting area is the Order Diptera (Family Tephritidae), whereas the Conventional chilli planting area is dominated by the Order Coleoptera (Family Scarabaeidae).Keywords : Capsicum annum L., Chili, Kakaskasen I, Tomohon

Abstract

ABSTRACTRatih Mawarni Amin, Level of Labor Productivity of Agriculture Sector in North Sulawesi Province. (Underguidance of Oktavianus Porajow as a Chairman, Charles R. Ngangi and Yolanda P, I Rori as members).The objective this research is to determine the level of labor productivity in the agricultural sector in North Sulawesi. This research was conducted for three months starting from July 2014 until September 2014 in the North Sulawesi Province. The source data used secondary data obtained from agencies associated with this research that the Central Bureau of Statistics in North Sulawesi Province. This analysis used descriptive analysis and the ratio between Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the amount of labor.The results of this study showed that labor productivity in the agricultural sector of the North Sulawesi in 2012 was 12.11 million rupiah / worker, compared with 2008 which only amounted to 8.94 million rupiah / worker. Productivity of labor was likely to increase from 2008 through 2012.

Abstract

The strategy of furniture industry development CV “Rumambun Indah” in Touliang Oki village Eris district Of Minahasa (regency under the supervision of Celsius Talumingan, as a chairman, Caroline B. D. Pakasi and Jenny Baroleh as the members).The objective of this research is to find out the potency and the the strategy of furniture industry development in Touliang Oki village Eris district of Minahasa. This research is worthwhile since furniture industries have contributed to the regional income of the district of MinahasaPrimary data were collected by interview during april, 2014 to August, 2014 by interview to respondent. SWOT analysis is3applied to analysis of furniture industry development strategy CV “Rumambun Indah”.The results of this study indicated that the furniture industry CV “Rumambun Indah” has a potential to grow as indicated by analysis position which show that CV Rumambun Indah was in quadrant one that meant CV Rumambun Indah is in favorable situation to grow.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research was conducted in the village of Subdistrict Tonsewer Tompaso Two for three months ie from July to October 2013. Laboratory studies conducted at the Laboratory of Entomology, Faculty of Agriculture and Plant Pests and field Unsrat Manado which is in District Tompaso. Land used for the observation that the land already planted chili farmers. The land area is used for observation of 15 x 3 m plots consisting of 6 which is then divided by three beds for the treatment of organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer plots 3 and 3 Plots for chemical fertilizers and each plot containing 22 tress chili plants. . In studies conducted at the plant chili with organic and inorganic fertilizer use are the following pests: Insects that bersosiasi on pepper plants that use organic and inorganic fertilizers, namely the Order Hymenoptera (vespidae family, Family: ichneuimonidae), Arachnida Order (family Araneidae), the Order Diptera (family Tephridae), Order Hemiptera (family: Alydidae), Order Coleopteran (family: Scarabidae) Order Homoptera (family: Aleyrodidae), Order Lepidoptera (family: Noctuidae), Aphids and Insects-Insects that dominate the area pepper plants that use organic fertilizers and inorganic fertilizers are Diptera (family Tepridae), Aphids (Family Aphididae) and Coleoptera (family Scarabidae). In this study there are enemies - namely natural enemies encountered spiders, and seranga - Insects such as Bemisia tabaci vectorKeywords : insect populations, chilli, Organic And Inorganic Fertilizers .

ABSTRACTMutiara Simbar. Analysis of “Cempaka” Raw Material Inventory Control In Wood Furniture Industry Using EOQMethod (Case Studies at “UD. Batu Zaman”), Under the guidance of Theodora M. Katiandagho as a Chairman, Tommy Lolowang and Jenny Baroleh as Members.The objective of this research are, a)analyze the optimum volume of raw materials required by “UD. Batu zaman” for 2013period, b)analyze the total cost of raw material supply cempaka to be incurred by UD. Batu Zaman for 2013period, c)analyzetime to re-ordering of raw materials cempaka by UD. Batu Zaman for 2013period, d)analyze the amount of safety stock cempaka timber must be provided by UD. Batu Zaman per period in 2013, and e)analyze the inventory control of raw materials Cempaka wood in the furniture industry by using EOQ (Case Studies at UD. Batu zaman).Data was collected from April 2014 - September 2014, The data obtained were primary data and secondary data, Primary data were data collected directly from the company . Secondary data were data that has been arranged in the form of written documents obtained from the company , previous literature as well as from the Internet. Analysis data based on " Economic Order Quantity " to determine the optimal order quantity it’s purchases for with the aim of minimizing inventory costs consist of the cost of ordering and storage costs.The results of the study showed that the purchase of raw materials according to the method of optimal Cempaka Economic Order Quantity during the period of 2013 for one ordering is larger than what the company had done. Optimal raw material purchasing to do the company in 2013 amounted to 4,448 m³ with frequency ordering to do is as much as 2 times, The quantity of safety stock that should be available in warehouse is of 0.24 m³ and a reorder point according to the Economic Order Quantity when 0.603 m³ of wood was available in warehouse inventory. The total cost of inventory to the production process issued by UD. Batu Zaman according to the Economic Order Quantity is less than the total cost of supplies done by company .Key Words : Inventory, Material, Economic Order Quantity.
