Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the profits of hydroponic lettuce farming in Urban Farming in Batu Kota, Malalayang SubDistrict, Manado City. Data analysis method used in this research is quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis is used to determine the advantages of hydroponic lettuce farming in Urban Farming Business by counting the difference between revenue and cost. Data in this research is primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through observation and interviews using direct questionnaires at the hydroponic Urban Farming research site through direct interviews between researchers and respondents, namely business owners. Secondary data is the collection of data and research materials obtained from books, internet, through google, theses, journals and other sources.The results showed that the total revenue from the Hydroponic Lettuce business was Rp.3,200,000, while the total cost incurred in the lettuce production process during the 1.5 month planting period is Rp.913,609.20. Therefore, the profit of Hydroponic Lettuce Farming on Urban Farming in Batu City, Malalayang Sub District, Manado City was Rp.2,286,390.80 for 1.5 months of planting period.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the corn  marketing channesl and their efficiency in Pangkusa Village. This research was carried out from June to August 2021. The data collected in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from farmers and traders using  questionnaires. Secondary data were obtained from the Pangkusa Village Office, and relevant sources on the internet. A total of 45 farmers who were members of the corn farmer group were selected randomly (simple random sampling) as respondents. Sampling of corn traders as many as 6 people was carried out using the Snowball Sampling method.The results showed that there were four patterns of marketing channels for corn in Pangkusa Village, namely: (I) Farmer–Factory, (II) Farmer–Village Collector–Factory, (III) Farmer–Subdistrict Collector–Factory, (IV) Farmer–Village Collector– District-Factory Collector. The most efficient marketing channel in marketing corn seen from Margin and Farmers share, was marketing channel I, because farmers in channel I sold their production directly to the factory. Based on the margin and Farmers share, channel IV pattern was not efficient. The profit-to-cost ratio in each marketing agency was not efficient because the corn marketing agency did not provide evenly distributed profits.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine and describe the impact of agricultural conversion on farmers incomes is Solog Village, Lolak Sub District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted from May 2021 to July 2021. The data collected is primary data obtained from direct interviews with farmers who own agricultural land using a questionnaire. Sampling by purposive sampling, namely from the populations of farmers affected by land conversion, a total of 35 farmers, samples taken as many as 15 respondents.The research result showed that, the impact of the conversion of agricultural land on the income of farmers in Solog Village, Lolak Sub District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency was positive impacts after land conversion such as the opening of new jobs, new business opportunities such as traders (selling near industrial factories) and the proceeds from land sales repairing houses and buying new houses. Negative impact after land conversion was farmers’ income decreases from farming (rice and corn), reduced food production (rice), lack of agricultural land because it has been converted. Formerly farmers who owned the land are now sharecroppers (leasing land). Some of the proceeds from the sale of land are not used as business capital but are used for other purposes such as daily living expenses, so that the monthly income stops.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the profits of the captikus business  by using Revenue Cost Ratio Analysis in Pinaras Village, Tomohon City. This research was conducted from February 2021 to April 2021.The data collected is primary data by using direct interview techniques to captikus entrepreneurs as respondents. Secondary data were obtained from books, internet, thesis, journals and other sources related to this research. Sampling was Purposive Sampling samples by taking as many as 7 respondents.The results of research on captikus business in Pinaras Village, Tomohon City showed that this business is profitable with a total profit of Rp. 30,032,520 with an average of 4,290,360 for one month of production so that a one-time production total profit of Rp. 1,072,590. From the calculation of the R/C value obtained by 2.43 so that it can be concluded that the captikus business in Pinaras Village, Tomohon City is feasible to run.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the use of information and communication technology (ICT), especially internet in the Sari Gunung Tiga farmer group, Rusa Kencana village, Toili Sub District, Banggai Regency. The research was carried out in Rusakencana village, Toili Sub District, Banggai Regency and over a period of 3 months, from December 2020 to February 2021. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with farmer groups, using a list of questions that had been prepared. Secondary data were obtained from agencies related to this research, among others, literature or previous research. Sampling is purposive sampling where the sample is taken intentionally. The population taken is a farmer group with the sample taken 1 farmer group, namely the Sari Gunung Tiga farmer group consisting of 20 members/respondents. The research results showed that, the use of information and communication technology in farmer groups who use the internet 30% and the internet for the function of farmer groups, namely as a learning class, a vehicle for cooperation, and a production unit of 15% are classified as small.

Abstract

Insil Village Passi Timur Sub District is one of the village that develop ginger plant supported by its land condition suitable for this plant. Farmers are not aware of the prospects of this plant even though during this pandemic there are many requests of this product from the public.            The objective of this research is to the income of red ginger farming in Insil Village, East Passi Sub District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted from June to July 2021. The data collected were primary data obtained from direct interviews with red ginger farmers using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Insil Village Office, BPP Office and data related to research taken from the internet. Sampling was  purposive sampling where 6 samples from a population of 73 farmers who could be found who harvested in June 2021 when the research took place.             The research results showed that the red ginger farming in Insil Baru Village was profitable in terms of the income of each farmer, which averaged Rp 8,508,166 in one growing season. Therefore, red ginger farming has good prospects as a superior product.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify product flow, financial flow, information flow. And analyze the level of marketing efficiency in the coconut supply chain. The research was carried out from June to August 2021. The data collected were primary data obtained from farmers and traders using questionnaires, internet secondary data, and the Sangkub Satu Village Office. Sampling using purposive sampling method as many as 24 people from 52 farmers, and snowball sampling method as many as 24 farmers and 3 traders. The research result showed that (1). Coconut supply chain in the channel Farmers-Collectors-Factory based on product flow flowing from upstream to downstream where farmers process coconut into copra and sell copra to traders, traders sell copra to factories, financial flows flow from downstream to upstream where factories buy copra with a transaction via banks to traders and traders buy copra with transactions directly to farmers, the first flow of information on the direction of the factory informs copra quality and price to traders, traders informs copra prices to farmers. The second flow of information is  the two farmers  to inform the copra quality to trader and the trader will inform the factory the amount of copra to the factory. (2). The level of marketing efficiency in the coconut supply chain is seen from marketing margins, costs and profits, farmers and traders who have been efficient.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the social capital and sustainability of captikus farming during the pandemic in Kali Oki Village, Tombatu Sub District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted from June to August 2021. The data collected in this study were primary data obtained from direct interviews with captikus farmers using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Kali Oki Village Office, as well as data related to research taken from the internet. Sampling was carried out by means of Simple Random Sampling, namely as many as 25 samples.The research results showed that the social capital and sustainability of Captikus farming during the pandemic in Kali Oki Village, Tombatu Sub District, Southeast Minahasa Regency were categorized as very good. This can be seen from the components of social capital, namely: norms, trust and networks which are categorized as very good, and sustainability components, namely the provision of media, capital, marketing and obtaining information and technology which are categorized as good.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the profit and added value of the Cake Bepang Agroindustry at UD. Ciput in Karondoran Village, East Langowan Sub District. This research was conducted in May 2021. The data collected used in this study namely primary data and secondary data.  Primary data  was obtained  through direct interviews with respondents by  using a list of questions (questionnaires).The research results showed that the profit per production process of the Cake Bepang Agroindustry at UD. Ciput in Karondoran Village  was obtained  total revenue of Rp. 875,000 and a total cost of Rp. 632,283, the profit generated was Rp. 242,717. Revenue is obtained from the total production of 70 packs with a price per unit of Cake Bepang Rp.12,500/pack, and the total cost by adding up fixed costs Rp.260,833 with variable costs Rp.371,450. For the results of the added value per production process of Rp.592,717, the value-added ratio of 48.39%, the margin obtained was Rp.1.135,000. And for other input contributions was Rp.542.283.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to  understand the application of the Agricultural Extension Methods on rice farmers in Kelurahan Taratara Tiga  WestTomohon  Sub District Tomohon City. The study is carried out in October to December 2020, with data used in primary adn secondary data then descriptive analysis.The research result showed that the application of agricultural extension methods on rice farmersin Taratara Tiga Kelurahan WestTomohon  Sub District Tomohon City, the individual method of applying agricultural counseling worked well enough with a 59.2 percent percentage. The group application of agricultural counseling worked well with 57.0 percent percentage and a method of mass-application of agricultural training result quite well with 58.6 percent percentage.
