Abstract

This study aims to determine the costs and income of potato farming in Sinisir Village, Modoinding District. The research was conducted from October 2021 to December 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data and then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the total average production cost incurred by potato farmers was IDR 24,437,838 per hectare with an average total revenue of IDR 53,603,424 per hectare. So, the average income on potato farming was IDR 29,165,586 per hectare.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the pattern of marketing channels,to  analyze the costs, profits and marketing margins at each level of the marketing channel and to find out the farmer's share at each level of the marketing channel. This research was conducted from October 2021 to December 2021 in Tateli Satu Village, Mandolang District. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. then analyzed descriptivelyThe results showed that the marketing channel formed on the marketing of water spinach in Tateli Satu village consisted of three forms of marketing channels, namely marketing channel 1 (farmer - village collector – consumer); marketing channel 2 (farmers - village collector - retailer – consumer) and marketing channel 3 (farmers - wholesalers – consumers).The highest marketing costs, profits and margins was in marketing channel 1, which was IDR 28,314.81 or 18.27 percent. The highest profit was in marketing channel 2, which was IDR 115,414.48 or 55.40 percent. The highest marketing margin was in marketing channel 2, which was IDR 113,333 or 54.40 percent. The share received by the farmer generated in marketing channel 3 was the highest one compared to the share received in the marketing channels 1 and 2.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of production factors including NPK “Mutiara” fertilizer, pesticides and labor on the production of cayenne pepper farming in Tambelang Village, Maesaan District. This research was carried out for three months from October to December 2021. The sampling method used was the saturated sampling method or census. The sample was all cayenne pepper farmers who had produced. Data used were both primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained directly from 40 farmers as respondents through interviews with the help of a questionnaire, while secondary data was obtained by searching documents from the Local Agriculture Office. Analysis of the data used was  regression analysis of the Cobb Douglas model to see the effect of each factor of production on production. The results showed that seeds, pesticides and labor had a significant effect, while the NPK “mutiara”  fertilizer had no significant effect on the production of cayenne pepper in Tambelang Village, Maesaan District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the benefits of goroho banana chips in the home industry of Sangkakala in the city of Tomohon.. The data used in this study were primary  and secondary data were obtained through direct interviews to owner home industry's trunkle busines in tomoho city. Analysis of The data collected in this study  by using profit analysis, and  Analysis of Revenue Cost (R/C). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the home industry trumpet business in producing goroho banana chips in August 2021 incurred production costs of Rp. 3,838,335, generating revenues of Rp. 4,940,000 and obtaining a profit of Rp. 1,101,665 so that in the analysis The cost ratio obtained an R/C of 1.28, which means that the Goroho Trumpet Home Industry's banana chips business is profitable.

Abstract

The economic development of the Papua Province has begun to be seen with the development of several regional potentials. However, these favorable conditions do not make the economic development of each Regency/City more evenly distributed. For this reason, research on inequality in development between districts in Papua Province is very necessary. Furthermore, the objective of this study is to analyze the level of development inequality and economic growth between districts/cities in Papua Province in 2018-2021. This research was conducted from November 2021 to February 2022. The data used are secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Papua Province; with the variables used: GRDP of Papua Province at Constant Prices, GRDP of Regency/City of Papua Province, Total Population of Papua Province, and Total Population of Regency/City of Papua Province. Analysis of the data used in this study is the analysis of regional inequality (Williamson Index) and analysis of the regional approach (Klassen Typology) with processing using Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the conclusions of this study are that: inequality that occurs in Papua Province between districts/cities in the 2018-2021 period had increased. The average Williamson Index score in Papua Province in the research period was 0.585256472 (or 0.59) with high inequality criteria. And, the classification of districts/cities based on economic growth and per capita GRDP in Papua Province uses the Klassen Typology analysis tool for the 2018-2021 period with a regional approach divided into four existing classifications. Developed and fast-growing regions, namely Merauke, Sarmi, Boven Digoel, Bintang Mountains, Nabire, Keerom, Supiori, Waropen, and Jayapura Regencies; developed but depressed areas, namely Kota Jayapura, Mamberamo Raya, and Mimika; areas developing fast but not developing, namely Puncak, Mappi, Biak Numfor, Central Mamberamo, Nduga, Lanny Jaya, Dogiyai, and the Yapen Islands; and relatively underdeveloped areas, namely Paniai, Jayawijaya, Deiyai, Yalimo, Tolikara, Puncak Jaya, Yahukimo, and Intan Jaya.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify and describe the tourism potency of Tambrauw Regency, West Papua Province and to formulate a strategy for developing tourism potential in Tambrauw Regency, West Papua Province. This research was conducted from March 2021 to November 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from in-depth interviews, while secondary data were obtained from the Tambrauw Regency Government, Tambrauw Regency Tourism Office and literature study. Methods of data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The research results showed that, Tambrauw Regency has great tourism potential. This tourism zone is divided into two, Blue Wonder and Green Wonder. Blue Wonder is a tourism potential around the coast and Green Wonder is a tourism potential around the mountains. The results of the SWOT analysis showed that the position of developing tourism potential in Tambrauw Regency is in Quadrant I (the meeting between Strengths and Opportunities). This condition means that the tourism potential of Tambrauw Regency is in a favorable position, because it has Strengths and Opportunities that can be utilized to minimize weaknesses and be able to face various threats.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the motivation of farmers to become members of the Cahaya Pelita farmer group in Liningaan Village, Maesaan Sub District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from February to April 2022 starting from preparation, data collection, until the preparation of research reports. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data obtained from 1 farmer group consisting of 10 members/respondents of farmer groups. The research results of showed that the motivation of farmers to become members of farmer groups is at an index value of 72% in the medium category, meaning that farmers quite agree to become members of farmer groups based on intrinsic motivation (motivation within the farmer) and extrinsic motivation (motivation from outside the farmer). With extrinsic motivation getting a percentage of 81% which is in the high category and intrinsic motivation getting a percentage of 66% which is in the medium category.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out how much profit Mrs. Jensy's yellow rice business makes in Bahu Village, Malalayang District, Manado City. This research was conducted from October to November 2021. The data collection in this research used interviews and documentation. The interview was conducted by directly interviewing the Nasi Kuning business owner as a respondent using a list of questions that had been prepared previously (questionnaire). Documentation is done by collecting data related to research both from relevant agencies and the internet. The data collected in this study were then analyzed using profit analysis using the Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) analysis formula. The results showed that the yellow rice business "Ibu Jensy" in Bahu Village, Malalayang District, Manado City was profitable because the total revenue was Rp. 610,000 per day, the total cost is Rp. 441,614, so the profit obtained is Rp. 168,386 per day and the R/C value is 1.38.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the effect of food commodity inflation on Manado city inflation and what food commodities have a significant effect on inflation in Manado City. This research was carried out in April 2022 to May 2022. Data collection was obtained through secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. sampling using secondary data sources time series (time series). Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results showed that inflation in Manado City was influenced by inflation of food commodities, namely inflation in the spices group. Inflation in the grains group, inflation in the vegetables group, and inflation in the fruits group did not affect the inflation in Manado City.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the outpouring of farmers' labor in lowland rice farming. The research was conducted in South Tumani Village, Maesaan Sub District, South Minahasa Regency. Data was collected using a survey method using primary and secondary data. The number of samples of paddy rice farmers was determined to be 20 people. Sampling using purposive sampling method, the sample is taken intentionally. Data analysis was done descriptively. The types of lowland rice farming activities under study include soil processing, seeding, planting, weeding, fertilizing, eradicating pests and diseases, harvesting, transporting and drying or drying. The research results showed that the average outpouring of farmer labor on 1 hectare rice farming is 103.42 HKSP/Ha, consisting of 89.47 HKSP/Ha and 13.95 HKSP/Ha. The largest workforce occurred in planting activities, namely 33.94 HKSP/Ha or 32.82%, followed by harvesting activities of 32.09 HKSP/Ha or 31.03% and land processing activities of 31.66 HKSP/Ha or 30, 61%.
