Abstract

CV. Aderina is a Home Industry that produces tempeh and has a product quality problem that still causes defective products. The types of product defects that often occur are foreign object entry, blackish color, and maturity level. A very effective method to overcome these problems is the FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) methods. The purpose of this research is to identify the types of defects and factors that cause the highest defects in tempeh products and provide recommendations for improvement to improve the quality of Tempe products. Foreign body entry is the highest type of tempeh product defect in October 2021 based on the Pareto diagram with the number of defective products, namely 356 pcs and a defect percentage of 47.72%. In the Fault Tree of Foreign Object Entry, the causes of defects that occur are caused by tools, human error, and the environment. Based on the FMEA method, the highest RPN value is obtained, namely the cause of defects in a less clean room with an RPN value of 189, and becomes a priority for improvement. By using the 5W + 1H approach, the proposed improvement that can be given is to carry out cleaning in all production rooms regularly by making a cleaning picket schedule.

Abstract

The case of tainted syrup with diethyllenglikol (ED/DEG) in Indonesia has raised serious concerns regarding the supervision of medicinal products by the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM). This article presents a legal analysis of consumer protection of this case, as well as highlights the role of BPOM in carrying out the task of supervising medicinal products. The case of ED/DEG tainted syrup became the public spotlight when a number of consumers experienced negative health impacts after consuming the product. This incident raises questions about the effectiveness of BPOM supervision in protecting consumers from unsafe drug products. This article attempts to outline the legal aspects involved in this case, including consumer protection laws, drug regulation, and BPOM's authority. The results of this analysis provide an overview of the complexity of legal issues that arise in the case of ED/DEG tainted syrup drugs, and emphasize the importance of strengthening the drug product supervision system in Indonesia to better protect consumers. The implementation of drug supervision by BPOM in the implementation system is quite good, but the implementation has not been optimal. There are regulatory loopholes that have been realized by BPOM that should be able to make additional arrangements.

Abstract

Elderly Integrated Service Post is a public health effort in an elderly health program that aims to maintain the health and socio-economic productivity of the elderly. The Sungai Pakning Health Center has implemented an elderly health service program at the elderly Integrated Service Post but the program coverage is still low, namely 33% in 2022. The aim of the study was to evaluate health services at the elderly Integrated Service Post in the Work Area of the Sungai Pakning Health Center, Bengkalis Regency in 2023 using the CIPP method with context indicators input, process and product (output). This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. There were 12 informants consisting of program holders for elderly services in Bengkalis Regency, persons in charge of the Sungai Pakning elderly health service program, doctors in charge, midwives, health promotion officers, cadres, the elderly and community leaders. The triangulation used is the triangulation of sources, methods and data. The results of the study show that the context (needs, problems, assets and opportunities) has been identified, inputs (human resources, funding, facilities and infrastructure) are still lacking for elderly Integrated Service Post activities, processes (promotive efforts, recording and reporting, monitoring and evaluation) have been carried out well, while preventive efforts are not in accordance with technical guidelines. The output has not reached the Bengkalis Regency target because the participation of the elderly in participating in elderly Integrated Service Post activities is still low, namely 33%. The health center can facilitate the formation of partnerships in each village through CSR with the private sector, businesses and community donations in facilitating facilities and infrastructure for the elderly Integrated Service Post. Community Health Centers can innovate digital-based counseling through Whatsapp Groups with elderly members or elderly families

Abstract

Medan City is the capital of North Sumatra Province which of course is on the island of Sumatra. The city of Medan as the third largest metropolitan capital in Indonesia also has a long history that started from a village whose initial opening was the size of a field opened by Guru Patimpus Pelawi who came from the Karo ethnicity who until now is known as the founder of the city of Medan. And in subsequent developments this city was dominated by ethnic Malays since the founding of the Deli Sultanate by Gocah Pahlawan who came from the Aceh Sultanate which made Medan until now still known as Tanah Deli or Medan Deli and at a time not much different, a person from the Colonial nation (Dutch ) named Jacob Nienhyus around the 1860s established plantations especially for tobacco commodities which almost covered the city of Medan so that in the term Medan Putri was known or the producer of Deli Tobacco which was famous to foreign countries at that time. With the area of the plantation, of course, workers were needed, so Nienhyus brought in a large number of coolies from ethnic Chinese and of course the coolies needed a place to live. Until then the Kesawan area that we know today was formerly a Malay village which was then a result of the large influx of Chinese letnics making this area subsequently dominated by ethnic Chinese who then built houses in the form of shops and started businesses by trading and several administrative office buildings Colonialism also exists in the area as we can see to this day, both the buildings that still function as housing complexes and the remains of the ruins of the building's foundations. And until now this area has become one of the historic iconic locations in the city of Medan, especially at night decorated with various street lights that illuminate this area to just relax and even become a background in documentation for selfies to become a culinary center.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the implementation of building policies in the Melawi River borderline area in Sintang is based on the Edward III Model: communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure. The main problem in this research is that there is a misalignment between the situation in the field and the provisions of the prohibition of building in the Melawi River borderline area in Sintang in Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2017 concerning Public Order and Regional Regulation No. 20 of 2015 concerning the Spatial Plan of Sintang Regency which refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number: 28/PRT/M/20I5 of 2015 concerning Determination of River and Lake Border Lines. This misalignment has implications for the issuance of building approval permits (PBG). This research is a qualitative study. This research describes the implementation of building policies in the Melawi River border area in Sintang based on facts from existing conditions in the field and from Sintang District Government documents related to the policy of controlling and managing the Melawi River border area in Sintang. This research was conducted in the Melawi River border area in Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan Province with research subjects in the form of Sintang Regency Government documents related to the development of the Melawi River border area in Sintang . The policy implementation model that researchers use in this study is the Direct and Indirect Impact on Implementation developed by George C. Edward III. The implementation of the building policy in the Melawi River border area in Sintang, in the researcher's conclusion, is not in accordance with the Local Regulation on Public Order and the Local Regulation on Spatial Planning of Sintang Regency and PERMENPUPR Number: 28/PRT/M /20I5 of 2015 concerning Determination of River and Lake Border Lines. This non-conformity has implications for the inability to issue Building Approval Permits (PBG) along the Melawi River boundary line area in Sintang.
