Abstract

The development of financial technology, especially in investment, is growing fast. The purpose is to make users more efficient and effective in terms of investment. This study aims to determine and analyze the factors that influence the use of applications from Bibit as an investment application specialized in mutual funds and government bonds. Research method using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with some modification in the variables based on the problem faced by the application. The variables used are perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, responsiveness, perceived risk, social influence, financial literacy, behavioral intention to use, and actual system use. This quantitative research uses questionnaires to 110 Bibit users across Indonesia. The results of the questionnaires will be compiled into combined data to conduct testing on data using validity and reliability tests. Statistical method used with SmartPLS. The results of this study show that the variables perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and social influence do not affect the use of the Bibit application. Bibit users are more influenced by financial matters and risks that may arise of using the application. Therefore, the variables of financial literacy and perceived risk have a significant effect with the variables of behavioral intention to use. One of the interesting things about this study is that the variable responsiveness affects perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use variables. It indicates that the ability of the application and the handling of problems from customer service team can affect the perception of usability and ease of application. This study also shows that the behavioral intention to use variable affects the actual use of the application by the user which is denoted by the actual system use variable.

Abstract

This study discusses the information-seeking behavior patterns of SMKN 1 Medan students regarding contemporary idols. The research aims to understand how the information-seeking behavior patterns of SMKN 1 Medan students unfold in the context of contemporary idols. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that SMKN 1 Medan students exhibit unique patterns when seeking information about contemporary idols, although there are some similarities with the Information Search Process theory previously proposed by Khultau. These patterns begin with problem recognition and the identification of information needs, followed by selecting a search system, formulating queries/keywords, conducting in-depth searches, filtering acquired information, and finally presenting the information. This outlines the information-seeking behavior patterns of SMKN 1 Medan students concerning contemporary idols.

Abstract

Folklore has an important role in children's development because it introduces moral and ethical values that can shape children's character and introduce Indonesian culture and traditions. However, folklore today is less in demand by children. The design of storybook applications that have good reusability is expected to increase children's interest in reading folklore. Therefore, it is necessary to design a folklore book application that uses Design Thinking. The method used in the development of the user experience of the folklore book application "Ceria Story" is the Design Thinking method. There are five stages carried out in this method, namely, empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. The resulting prototype answers four main problems obtained from the empathize, define, and ideate stages. The story that is used as a case study of this application is Malin Kundang folklore because it is one of the popular folklore with a moral message that is suitable for children. The results of testing children's satisfaction with this application get the category "GOOD". Therefore, the folklore book application "Ceria Story" which is designed using the design thinking method can be a solution to the problem of children's lack of interest in folklore.

Abstract

Hadith, like the Qoran, is a text that comes from the past and is intended as a reference for Muslims in the past, present, and future. In understanding the products of the past, there are many ways to use their understanding for the benefit of the people. Hermeneutics exists as a new way to understand past product texts. Similar understanding in the process of understanding the Koran has taken clear steps to understand Hadith using the hermeneutic method. Hermeneutics as an alternative method of interpretation is new in the Islamic world, but that does not mean it did not exist before it was applied in a narrow or broad sense. In general, hermeneutics in religious texts, especially the Koran and Hadith, aims to find the original meaning of the text by placing the text in a social-historical environment. With the hermeneutic method, it is also considered as a representative of reformers, who have contributed a lot to the development of Islam, so that religious texts can be more harmonious according to the times without losing their authenticity.
