Abstract

Climate change, as one of the impacts of global warming, has several consequences for the sustainability of living beings on Earth. It is necessary to monitor the trend of climate change. One way to monitor seasonal patterns of change is by analyzing the ozone content in the air. In addition to being an indicator of climate change, predicting the ozone gas content in the air is important because ozone gas has a direct impact on living organisms. By predicting the ozone gas content, it is hoped that preventive measures can be taken to prevent the adverse effects of ozone gas in the air. In the case of predicting ozone gases, there may be certain patterns that only become apparent over time, such as seasonal variations or long-term trends. A model that can capture these long-term dependencies will be better equipped to accurately predict ozone gas levels in the future. In this experiment, we proposed the use of Encoder-Decoder LSTM to predict ozone gas values.

Abstract

The need for sanitation and operational water supply requires a good source of water with long-lasting and sustainable availability. Therefore, it is necessary to have a water source solution in large quantities and continuously. In this case, PT Putra Perkasa Abadi, a coal mining service contractor company, converts water sources from coal mining waste in the IUP (Mining Business License) area of PT Borneo Indobara into water for sanitation activities. The purpose of this research is to utilise coal mining waste waste water into sanitation water. This research method uses quantitative and qualitative research methods. The results showed that the implementation of the utilisation of coal mining wastewater as sanitation water at PT Putra Perkasa Abadi was able to eliminate the use of groundwater to 100% surface water. The process starts from stagnant Acid Mine Drainage in the sump being pumped to the sediment pond then treated using the precipitation method and then flowed through the pipe to the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to be processed into sanitary water. This WTP uses the precipitation method and provides coagulants with the aim that water quality complies with Indonesian government regulations referring to Permenkes RI No. 02 of 2023. From the results of the initial analysis, the quality standard value is obtained with a value of Ph: 5.96, TDS: 520 mg/L and Turbidity 1.2 NTU. with the results after WTP treatment being pH: 7.93, TDS: 43,525 mg/L and Turbidity 0.84 NTU. Re-utilisation of mine waste discharge water is very effective for supplying domestic water needs in the operational area of PT Putra Perkasa Abadi. The monthly water usage reaches 10,000-12,000 M^3. The data is an interpretation of the description of water usage for sanitation operational support activities. The abundant source of acid mine drainage supported by high rainfall makes it possible not to use groundwater at all in the coal mining area.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is the 13th leading cause of mortality globally and is the second rank in terms of leading infectious killer after COVID-19 (surpassing HIV and AIDS). Indonesia holds the second-highest number of TB cases worldwide. Health workers are among the high-risk groups for TB infection. This studys objective is to determine the risk factors affecting tuberculosis occurrence among health workers in Indonesia. This research uses the literature review method and involves a thorough review of existing literature from 12 published journals. The literature review outcome underscores a significant correlation between Tuberculosis incidents among health workers and personal aspects, such as smoking habits. Conversely, no significant association was observed between individual factors like age, education, nutritional status, and employment factors such as duration and type of work.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of government spending on education and health on GRDP and the human development index in North Labuhanbatu District. The data used in this research is secondary data in 2017-2021. The analysis tool used is path analysis. The software used to carry out the analysis is IBM SPSS Version 20. The results of the analysis show that an increase in government spending on education has a positive and insignificant effect on GRDP in North Labuhanbatu Regency . These results are in accordance with the hypothesis but not significant in terms of triggering an increase in GRDP. This could be due to the fact that educated graduates are still not optimal in absorbing labor in accordance with the demand for available jobs. The increase in government spending on health has a positive and significant effect on GRDP in North Labuhanbatu District. It can be concluded that there is a significant impact from the increase in the health sector budget spending on increasing GRDP in North Labuhanbatu Regency. Because GRDP will increase if everyone enjoys maximum health facilities.

Abstract

Every country has its own tax rules. Tax is one of the most important revenue sectors in every country, including Indonesia. The state revenue sector from taxes is the main sector, because more than 70% of state revenue comes from tax revenue. So, it is not surprising why policies related to taxation issued by the government will affect the country's economy. One of the controversial policies in the tax sector is the tax amnesty program, which targets non-compliant taxpayers to declare their true assets by paying a ransom to the government. The implementation of the tax amnesty program has generated quite a response in the community. In this study, the author tries to explain the main reasons for the implementation of the tax amnesty program. The researcher explains the tax amnesty program in terms of its effect on tax compliance, state revenue, company performance, and tax management in a taxpayer. In addition, the author will also explain the tax implementer's perspective on the tax amnesty program. From this study, it can be concluded that the tax amnesty program has a significant influence on state revenue, repatriation of taxpayer assets, taxpayer compliance, and taxpayer decisions in implementing tax management in their companies. Nevertheless, the tax amnesty program is still considered a controversial policy, several reasons that do not support this program such as it can destroy the credibility of the state, is unfair to taxpayers who have complied, and can change taxpayer behavior to wait for a more profitable tax amnesty program policy in the future  repeat policy. This is a challenge for the government if it wants to re implement the tax amnesty program in the future.
