Abstract

Persuasive communication will be effective if it can influence someone's attitude. Palembang Branch of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is trying to persuade traders at Padang Selasa Market through socialization that has been carried out to educate and make traders aware of being able to take part in the labor social security program. This research aims to determine the persuasive communication of the Palembang branch of the BPJS Ketenagakerjan program for traders at the Padang Selasa Market. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. Using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. This research uses AIDDA theory to measure the effectiveness of persuasive communication used by the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan team when socializing with traders at the Padang Selasa Market. The results of this research are that the persuasive communication applied in socialization to Padang Selasa Market traders is quite effective seen from the persuasive communication techniques used and measured using AIDDA theory

Abstract

Cisaat Village in Subang District is a developing tourist village increasingly visited by Middle Eastern tourists. Unfortunately, the Tourism Awareness Group (pokdarwis) in Cisaat has not yet mastered Arabic communication skills, although they have already gained experience in learning Arabic. This research aims to develop Arabic teaching materials for tourism village groups in Indonesia. This study uses the research and development method of Thiagarajan's 4D model. The instruments of this study were questionnaires distributed to 30 members of Pokdarwis and unstructured interviews. The data analysis used was quantitative descriptive. The results showed a need to prepare Arabic teaching materials for Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis) at Cisaat Tourism Village. Educational materials are designed in e-audio books, and the learning topics presented are transportation, homestay (hotel), and transactions.

Abstract

Firm value is a study conducted by investors to assess the success and performance of the company which is reflected through the stock price in the market. This study aims to analyze the effect of earning power, company size, leverage, capital structure, and liquidity on company value with profit growth as a moderating variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2021 period. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. Companies that meet the criteria in this study are 80 companies. This research uses analytical methods, namely multiple linear regression analysis and moderated regression analysis. The result of this study are that earning power, capital structure, and leverage. Meanwhile, firm size and leverage affect firm value, and pforit growth can moderate earning power and liquidity.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of board composition and ownership structure on a company's CSR disclosure. Board composition is examined into 2 variables, namely board size and independent directors. Meanwhile, the ownership structure is examined into 2 variables, namely managerial ownership and institutional ownership. This research uses data from annual reports and CSR reports of non-cyclical consumer companies on each company's website for the period 2019 to 2021. Data processing uses the EViews 12 application. The results of this research are that board size has a positive influence on CSR disclosure, but directors independence, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership have no effect on CSR disclosure. The results of this research can be considered by investors in providing investment funds, namely by looking at the level of company CSR disclosure based on the composition of the board and ownership structure of the company.

Abstract

Success in product sales is inseparable from the quality of the performance of members or employees of PT. Sinar Sosro  Tanjung Morawa through the level of satisfaction at work and by highlighting the latest innovations. This research was conducted to determine the effect of humility leadership (X1) and person job fit (X2) on innovative work behavior (Y) with organizational justice (Z) as a mediating variable. The population of this research is all employees of PT. Sinar Sosro Tanjung Morawa about 180 people with a sample of 60 people by proportional random sampling from all departments. The data analysis technique used in this research is PLS-SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). There are two group stages in analyzing SEM-PLS, including a measurement model (Outer Model) and a structural model (Inner Model).

Abstract

Self-healing term is widely used by the youth generation lately in the cyber and real world. People comprehend the term as the effort to heal oneself from heart discomfort caused by a failure, pressure, anxiety, disappointment, insecurity, et cetera, and the effort to seek inner serenity and tranquility. However, unfortunately, some people choose to do self-healing in the wrong and deviant way. Therefore, this research aims to straighten up and reveal the self-healing concept in the Quran by analyzing the words Sakana and Ithma'anna and their derivation embodying the meaning of tranquility. This study is library research by implementing a semantic approach. The applied data collection method was documentation using primary and secondary data, i.e., the Quran, Al-Misbah, Al-Qurthubi, and Ibn Kathir exegesis. This research result indicates that Allah sends down tranquility for those with mental readiness and decorates themselves with commendable qualities. This research also conveys several deeds that can be done as self-healing, which in reality is contrary to the habits of today's younger generation. Eventually, the serenity that all man desires is eternal tranquility, which is included in the group of people who are called upon by Allah and addressed by 'O tranquil soul' when he dies and on the Day of Resurrection.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the implementation and effectiveness of the program for handling Cart People, Clowns Homeless Beggars and street Children in the City of Banjarmasin. The research method used is a qualitative method as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of words. Research location in Banjarmasin City. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data by triangulating data collection techniques. Data analysis techniques using data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of the program for handling program target objects is not running optimally, the organization of the formation of resource arrangements and infrastructure to support the program is classified as inadequate to reach all program target objects, Program interpretation has been carried out well, in accordance with leadership directions and SOPs and applications/implementations related to routine activities, implementation standards and activity targets and inter-sectoral cooperation has been carried out well. The effectiveness of the program targets consisting of the program target objects (cart people, clowns, flats and anjal) and the community is good. The socialization of the program has not been carried out optimally, the success of the program has been effective, monitoring of the program has been carried out but is not yet optimal.

Abstract

The company has the main source in carrying out its performance, namely man which must be considered carefully, because good Human Resources will create good performance later on the company. A company's human resources can provide optimal results if they are met with appropriate compensation and are also linked to good leadership traits. These two things will at least become benchmarks used by employees to improve personal and company performance. This study discusses the leadership and compensation provided by leasing companies on employee performance. This study aims to determine the relationship between leadership and compensation that will create good employee performance which also impacts on the company's good performance. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative method with data collection derived from primary data by giving questionnaires a total of 193 samples from employees of PT Mitsui Leasing Capital Indonesia. In addition to primary data, secondary data is also used to strengthen research originating from journals and articles. The results of the study state that there is a relationship and a positive effect on the relationship between leadership and compensation on employee performance and employee satisfaction at PT Mitsui Leasing Capital Indonesia. Furthermore, there is a positive value between job satisfaction on employee performance. Job satisfaction can provide an indirect media influence on leadership and compensation on employee performance.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, all circles, especially students, are familiar with super-sophisticated technology commonly referred to as gadgets. This rapid development will certainly change the pattern of communication, which previously communicated directly to communication using gadgets. One of the negative impacts in this case is that students then become indifferent to the surrounding environment and are more concerned with playing gadgets. The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of gadget use on the lack of face-to-face communication among students in class XI at SMAN 1 Badegan Ponorogo. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The data analysis used was simple linear regression test. The population in this study were grade XI students totaling 349 students and the sample used was purposive sampling with a total of 80 respondents. The results of this study found that there was a significant influence of gadget use on the lack of face-to-face communication in class XI students at SMAN 1 Badegan Ponorogo with a result of 37.4%. This study was only conducted at SMAN 1 Badegan Ponorogo, it would be better if more samples were used to deepen the information to find out other impacts caused by the use of gadgets.

Abstract

Zakat is the third pillar of Islam for Muslims who have tremendous potential to implement community economic activities, especially for the poor. Zakat is also an instrument of income distribution that plays a role in the development of the welfare of the people. One of the zakat that we often hear is professional zakat or income zakat. professional zakat of ASN Bogor City has great potential, but the realization professional zakat of ASN Bogor City collection carried out by BAZNAS Bogor City has not been maximized. This study aims to analyze what is the cause of the non-achievement of revenue realization of the potential zakat of the ASN profession in the City of Bogor and what strategies are used to increase the acceptance of zakat for the profession of ASN in the City of Bogor. This research uses a qualitative methodology with a case study approach. The data sources used are primary data sources, data taken directly from informants consisting of BAZNAS Bogor City administrators, Bogor City Regional Government and ASN Bogor City. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, direct interviews with the Bogor City Amil Zakat Agency as zakat manager, Bogor City Government as regulator and ASN Bogor City as muzakki. Secondary data sources are obtained from literature and documentation that support this discussion, such as books, papers, articles and so on. The results of this study conclude that the cause of the failure to achieve the realization of the potential for professional zakat receipts for ASN Bogor City is that there are several government agencies that have the largest potential for professional zakat but do not carry out the mandate of Bogor Mayor Regulation Number 118 of 2020, the low trust of ASN Bogor City towards BAZNAS Bogor City and what strategy will be carried out by the BAZNAS Bogor City to increase the collection of professional zakat funds for the Bogor City ASN profession.
