Abstract

Untuk menganalisis perkembangan karakter Happy Prince dan Swallow, untuk mengeksplorasi tema-tema pengorbanan, kasih sayang, dan keadilan sosial dalam narasi, untuk memeriksa unsur-unsur simbolis dan alegoris dari cerita, untuk menempatkan kritik Wilde dalam konteks yang lebih luas dari masyarakat Victoria dan implikasinya terhadap diskusi kontemporer tentang keadilan sosial dan tanggung jawab moral. Analisis tekstual, pengkodean tematik, analisis struktur naratif, integrasi perspektif keilmuan, analisis kontekstual Analisis tekstual, pengkodean tematik, analisis struktur naratif, integrasi perspektif keilmuan, analisis kontekstual Novel "The Happy Prince" karya Oscar Wilde merupakan sebuah narasi yang sangat baik yang menggunakan karakter, tema, dan elemen-elemen simboliknya untuk menyampaikan sebuah kritik yang kuat terhadap nilai-nilai masyarakat. Penelitian ini, melalui metode penelitian naratif, menyoroti relevansi abadi dari pesan Wilde, yang menekankan pentingnya empati, kasih sayang, dan pengorbanan dalam mengatasi ketidaksetaraan sosial. Kisah ini menantang pembaca untuk merenungkan peran mereka dalam masyarakat dan dampak tindakan mereka terhadap orang lain, menawarkan wawasan abadi tentang kekuatan transformatif dari kebaikan dan altruisme.

Abstract

This study explores the profound impact of compassion on the character development of the child in Stephen Crane's "A Dark Brown Dog," employing Adam Smith's framework from "The Theory of Moral Sentiments" (1759). Our analysis reveals a significant transformation in the child, driven by the emergence of empathy, from initial indifference to a deep sense of compassion towards the dog. Initially, the child views the dog with contempt and engages in aggressive behavior, reflecting a sense of superiority. However, as the child's empathy grows through witnessing the dog's sincere efforts to please, a pivotal change occurs. The child begins to recognize the dog's intrinsic worth, leading to protective and affectionate behavior. This empathy not only fosters a stronger emotional bond but also cultivates courage within the child. The child's newfound empathy drives him to defend the dog against familial mistreatment, demonstrating a significant moral and emotional growth. The study highlights the transformative power of empathy in developing compassion and bravery, showcasing how moral sentiments can profoundly shape character.

Abstract

Language is a tool for communication used by humans in interacting. Social interaction or communication actions are carried out either directly, indirectly or symbolically. A regional language is a language spoken in a region in a national state. The use of regional languages in Indonesia is not only a means of communication but also a symbol of self-identity. The existence of regional languages will show the existence of a region's culture, because regional languages are one of the elements of culture. Language and culture are part of a society that cannot be separated, because language is the main supporter of every tradition and customs of society in Indonesia.This study explains Regional Language Culture In An Effort To Preserve The Endangered Local Culture Among The Youth Of East Sumba Mondu Village. The results of the research are that education has a great influence on the process of preserving Regional Language Culture, both family education, community and school institutions because there are a lot of cultures that are often forgotten, especially regional languages that are no longer used in daily life by teenagers, therefore it is necessary to further increase awareness teenagers with education that introduces more to the culture of the Mondu Village area. In conclusion, there is a need for greater awareness of the importance of preserving Regional Language Culture in an area, especially the Mondu Waingapu Village area because the development of the increasingly sophisticated times can cause us to forget our own culture until we realize that we will forget our own identity.

Abstract

This research is to analyze the intrinsic elements in the short story “The Selfish Giant” using an objective appoarch.The research method that I use in this analysis uses a qualitative descriptive method,which is a thorough and in-depth research.This short story is highly recommended to be read by all people because there is an educational element in the short story,and there are many messages and impression in the short story.This plot is very understanable because itdoesn’t make the reader dizzy.

Abstract

Cette recherche évalue l'efficacité des podcasts Spotify pour la Réception Orale de niveau A2 sur le thème "Aller au Restaurant". Les podcasts offrent plusieurs avantages : ils permettent aux étudiants d'écouter des conversations réelles en restaurant, améliorant leurs compétences d'écoute de manière authentique. Leur format accessible permet un apprentissage indépendant et flexible, augmentant l'autonomie. Les variations d'intonation, de vocabulaire et d'expressions aident à comprendre le français familier. L'étude statistique montre une amélioration avec une moyenne post-test de 84,44 et une déviation standard de 9,98, indiquant des résultats stables. Les scores post-test se concentrent vers des résultats élevés. Les tests de normalité confirment que les données suivent une distribution normale. Le test t unilatéral confirme l'efficacité de l'intervention, avec une statistique t élevée, une valeur p très faible (<0,001) et un intervalle de confiance large, démontrant des changements significatifs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the difficulties faced by students in understanding reading narrative texts in class X TB 1 SMK NEGERI 1 KISARAN. Using qualitative methods and a descriptive approach, this research involved 34students as subjects. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of learning documents. The research results showed that students experienced various difficulties, including limited vocabulary, lack of effective reading strategies, and inability to understand the structure and plot of the story. Apart from that, students' motivation and interest factors also play a significant role in the reading comprehension process. These findings provide important insights for educators to design more adaptive and innovative teaching strategies, in order to improve students' reading comprehension abilities. Thus, it is hoped that this research can become a reference in efforts to improve the quality of Indonesian language learning, especially in the context of narrative texts.

Abstract

L'objectif de cette étude est d'analyser la signification sémiotique des panneaux de signalisation routière verticaux en France. Les panneaux de signalisation en France sont divisés en quatre types : verticaux, horizontaux, de signalisation et lumineux. Cette recherche se concentre sur les panneaux verticaux, subdivisés en quatre catégories : indication, danger, obligation et interdiction, en utilisant la méthode qualitative descriptive avec l'approche sémiotique de Charles Sanders Pierce. Les résultats montrent que les panneaux d'indication (12) sont carrés et bleus, signalant les actions à faire ou à éviter. Les panneaux de danger (27) sont triangulaires avec un bord rouge, incitant à la prudence. Les panneaux d'obligation (20) sont ronds et bleus, indiquant une consigne de sécurité obligatoire. Les panneaux d'interdiction (35) sont ronds avec un bord rouge, signalant une interdiction à respecter. Cette recherche aide à mieux comprendre le symbolisme et la signification des panneaux verticaux en France.

Abstract

Cette recherche vise à déterminer les éléments constituant le syntagme verbal dans le Journal "Le Parisien". Dans cette recherche, la méthode utilisée est celle de qualitative descriptive. On a trouvé 5 le Verbe. + Syntagme Nominal, 6 Verbe + Syntagme Prépositionnel, 1 Verbe + Syntagme Nominal + Syntagme Prépositionnel, 7 Étre + Syntagme Nominal, et 3 Étre + Syntagme Adjectival. 2.L’élément du syntagme verbal qui est plus fréquent trouver dans le journal parisien est étre + Syntagme Nominal. L’analyse du syntagme verbal peut être un outil efficace pour analyser des textes, journaux, des articles, des actualités ou d’autres écrits.

Abstract

Cette étude évalue l'impact du média Sparkol Videoscribe sur les compétences d'écoute des étudiants en français de la classe XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 11 Medan. Elle utilise une approche expérimentale avec prétest et post-test à groupe unique, et une méthode quantitative. La population de l'étude comprend 351 étudiants, avec un échantillon de 35 élèves. Les données sont recueillies via un test à choix multiples avec écoute audio. L'analyse utilise des statistiques descriptives, un test de normalité, et un test T pour échantillons appariés via IBM SPSS. Les résultats montrent une augmentation de la moyenne des capacités d'écoute, passant de 46,43 au prétest à 71,43 au post-test, avec une amélioration de 25 points. Les résultats indiquent que Sparkol Videoscribe est efficace pour améliorer les compétences d'écoute en français.

Abstract

Abstract Cette recherche développe des supports d'apprentissage du français au lycée avec l'application FlipaClip, axés sur "l'heure en français" pour les élèves de classe XI, et évalue leur faisabilité. En utilisant la méthode R&D de Sugiyono en 5 étapes (analyse, conception, développement, validation, révision), la recherche commence par l'analyse des besoins, la création des supports, et leur validation par des experts en matériaux et médias. Les données sont collectées via des fiches d’évaluation et analysées de manière descriptive. Les experts en matériaux ont attribué une note de 80 % (catégorie "bien"), et ceux en médias une note de 94,5 % (catégorie "très bien"). Les supports ont obtenu un score de 92,4 % de la part des étudiants, également dans la catégorie "très bien". Les supports sont donc validés comme adaptés à l'apprentissage du français au lycée.
