Abstract

Currently, the advancement of information systems and technology offers numerous advantages to human existence, encompassing nearly every aspect of life, including strategic planning. Good strategic planning implementation will benefit the organizations that use it as well as commercial entities like small and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM). In Padalarang Village, the industry that can employ the greatest number of specialized workers is UMKM. There is no questioning UMKM's existence because it has demonstrated its ability to endure, act as a catalyst for the local economy, and grow it.  One of the communities in the Padalarangs Prefecture is Padalarang Village. West Java's West Bandung district has potential in the UMKM field, and the strategy's village layout supports this idea. The purpose of the research was to develop an information system strategy for Padalarang Village's UMKM, with the goal of motivating UMKM to enhance benefits using information systems. The Ward and Peppard methods were employed, with phases for SWOT, Value Chain, and Five Force analysis. Interviews and questionnaires were sent to pertinent parties throughout the data collecting phase. The study's conclusion is that UMKM needs to be proficient in the use of information technology to become an innovation to develop its business.

Abstract

This article discusses the development of technology in various fields, with a focus on the implementation of digital technology and machine learning. Digitalization has influenced various aspects of life, including education and tourism. Machine learning, particularly convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and deep learning play an important role in these advancements, with applications extending from biology to healthcare. Face recognition technology, as part of biometrics, is highlighted in this article, used in various contexts such as security and enterprise management. This research implements CNN and Haar Cascade Classifier methods to build a face recognition system in the context of library attendance. With the tests conducted, the system achieved 95% accuracy, showing a good ability to detect faces in various conditions. In conclusion, the CNN algorithm can produce an effective face recognition system for use in library attendance systems, with reliable performance and high accuracy.

Abstract

This research implements Augmented Reality (AR) technology in solar system learning using a marker-based 3D object recognition method. The aim of this research is to create an interactive and immersive experience for users to learn about the solar system through an Android smartphone. The research development method follows the waterfall approach, which includes requirements analysis, system and software design, implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance. This AR application utilizes marker-based 3D object recognition technology on an Android smartphone. The test results demonstrate the success of the application in displaying 3D objects during the scanning process using marker cards. Distance testing indicates that the optimal range for recognizing solar system objects is 20-30 cm. Meanwhile, light intensity testing reveals that outdoor daylight conditions with an intensity of 90-120 Lux provide optimal results. In conclusion, this research successfully develops an application for recognizing solar system objects using AR technology. The application offers an interactive learning experience for the solar system. The utilization of the waterfall method and the positive test results are the strengths of this research. For future development, the consideration of employing the scrum method can accelerate the application development and testing processes.

Abstract

UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, as a rapidly growing higher education institution, faces significant challenges in ensuring information security. This research aims to improve information security at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung by applying the Information Security Index (KAMI). This method analyzes information security risks to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and possible impacts. The analysis revealed that security measures were already in place, but they also highlighted areas that require further attention. By achieving a final score of 415, signifying category II (Basic Framework Fulfillment), this research significantly contributed to understanding information security in higher education. Through the application of WE, this research not only provides a comprehensive overview of the status of information security at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung but also opens up opportunities to identify and address potential threats more effectively. Thus, the results of this study have important implications for improving information security and protection in higher education institutions and can be a valuable guide for similar institutions in their efforts to mitigate information security risks.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has penetrated into various sectors, including education. Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung realizes the importance of participating in technological advances to improve information and communication services. One of the efforts made is to utilize the website to introduce and manage alumni data. This research is focused on the analysis and design of the Informatics Study Program alumni website, with the hope that it can support facilities at the university and provide benefits, especially for alumni of the Informatics Department. The results showed that the development of the Alumni Association website can be done well as a means of facilities for the Alumni Association in informing its work program. In addition, website development is carried out by making front-end with ReactJS and back-end with NodeJS Express on the website can run completed and implemented quite well.

Abstract

This research aims to build Geographic Information System (GIS) of Political Region Profiles in West Java using the Overlay Spatial Join method. The study addresses the political complexity in Indonesia, particularly in West Java, which serves as a significant political base. The success of political campaigns requires a profound understanding of voter preferences, demographic dynamics, and local issues. Limited access to accurate location data poses a serious obstacle to the effective design of campaign strategies. This research responds to these challenges by designing a GIS that integrates political and spatial data. The research focuses on West Java, where regional diversity poses unique challenges. Through the Overlay Spatial Join method, the research aims to provide in-depth insights into political region profiles, serving as a foundation for intelligent political campaign strategies. The benefits of the research include an understanding of regional characteristics, performance comparisons of political parties, and in-depth analysis for campaign resource efficiency. The system integrates data from various sources, provides spatial visualization, and enables the analysis of regional profiles for the identification of deep political information. The research's contribution is not only academic but also practical in enhancing the effectiveness of democracy and general elections in West Java.

Abstract

Information technology plays a crucial role in enhancing business efficiency and effectiveness through the implementation of systems and software. Software facilitates the rapid and accurate management and pro-cessing of data, supporting business processes and increasing competitiveness. Software testing, conducted by a Quality Assurance professional, is a critical phase to ensure compliance with specifications and user requirements, as well as to mitigate the risk of technical or functional issues.This research was conducted at PT. Walden Global Service (WGS), an IT/Software House consultancy. The focus of the study was on the application of blackbox/greybox methods and the McCall model in software testing, specifically for an authentication platform developed for PT Fazpass Integrasi Indonesia.The results of the testing involved quality factors such as Correctness, Reliability, Integrity, and Efficiency. Performance testing using GTMe-trix and JMeter provided significant success percentages. Additionally, Usability testing showed the com-pleteness of documentation that facilitates the handover process between WGS and the client.The imple-mentation of the McCall model assisted Quality Assurance in categorizing criteria and Test Case catego-ries, with the output being a presentation of success and failure. This helps minimize technical or function-al issues and provides specific recommendations to users or clients regarding the feasibility and need for further development based on the testing results of factors in the Product Operation aspect of the McCall model.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant impacts to the business world, including the manufacturing industry. One important aspect in the textile industry is the production of fabric orders. PT Ateja Tritunggal also faces challenges in managing the fabric order information system. The PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service) method framework is a framework used for classifying problems, opportunities, and directions within the scope of system analysis and design definitions. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of fabric order production at PT Ateja Tritunggal using the PIECES method. This research uses quantitative methods and data collection techniques through a survey using questionnaires conducted using Google Forms media to all personnel in the PPIC (Planning Product Inventory Control) department at PT Ateja Tritunggal. The test results showed that the information system running at PT Ateja Tritunggal falls into the good category, but there is a need for improvement so that all business processes can run more effectively and properly.

Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, the world was shocked by the emergence of a new virus, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-nCoV- 2) and the name of the disease is Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Common symptoms of COVID-19 are acute respiratory distress, fever, cough and shortness of breath. One of the efforts to overcome the transmission of COVID-19 is by sterilizing the room. This research designs an automatic room sterilization device using UV-C lamps that can be controlled using the Blynk application. There are 2 working principles of this tool, namely automatic, the lamp will turn on according to a predetermined setpoint and manual, the lamp will turn on manually like a normal lamp. Hardware used to make this tool are NodeMCU ESP8266, DHT11 sensor, PIR sensor, UV-C lamp, and Relay. As for the software used are Arduino IDE and Blynk Application. This research has 3 tests, the first is testing the lamp automation system where the UV-C lamp response is in accordance with the notification in the Blynk application. The second test is a human detection system with a PIR sensor where the sensor can detect with a maximum radius of 5m. The third test of room temperature monitoring system with DHT11 sensor with digital thermometer comparison tool. The average error value is 0.88% with the accuracy of the DHT11 sensor of 99.12%

Abstract

Designing a Web-Based YMM FI Scholarship Recipient Decision Support Information System Using the SMART Method can help YMM FI in the decision-making process to determine the right scholarship recipient. YMM FI is a zakat fund management foundation which has several programs, one of which is still running, the Edu Care Program which focuses on funding education from the lower to upper levels. However, the selection of prospective recipients of higher education scholarships is still done manually, which results in inaccuracies in those who receive them. For this reason, there is a need for a Web-Based Decision Support System using the SMART Method which takes into account several attributes that have weighted values and criteria. From the results found, attribute A2 with the name Wa Marlin is the highest ranking of the other attributes
