Abstract

The ratification of the Affirmative action policy and the Zipper system in the General Election in Indonesia has increased women's participation as legislative candidates. In the 2024 election in Tegal Regency, many women are running for office through the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP). This research aims to identify and understand the candidacy process carried out by PDIP for female legislative candidates. This study uses a qualitative method with an explanatory case study approach. The analysis was carried out using the theory of Gideon Rahat and Reuven Y, "Candidate Selection Theory: Methods and Consequences" with four indicators used in the study. First, the selectorate indicator shows a tendency to an exclusive continuum. Second, the candidacy indicator also leads to the exclusive side. Third, decentralization shows that PDIP operates centrally at the national level with a focus on large sectors of social groups. Fourth, regarding voting versus appointment, PDIP uses an appointment system to choose candidates. The candidacy of female legislative candidates in PDIP prioritizes women who come from the party structure.

Abstract

Visual technology has become an integral part of the user experience in today's digital era. The use of visual technologies, such as images, videos, and graphics, has influenced the way individuals interact with digital content, products, and services. In the context of consumer culture, visual technology plays a significant role in shaping preferences, shopping behavior, and brand perceptions. The implications of the use of visual technology on consumer culture are seen in changes in people's consumption patterns, increased expectations for consumer experiences, and the evolution of more visually oriented marketing strategies. In addition, visual technology also has an impact on individuals' digital identities, where social media and online platforms become a place for self-expression through images and visual content.

Abstract

This study describes the rice sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2023.The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of sales volume and selling price on profitability in rice sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2023. The sample used in this study is 32 data from financial statements and annual reports for the 2020- 2023 period. The classic assumption test used in this study is by using the normality test, multicollinearity test, heterokedasticity test and autocorrelation test. The data analysis used to test the hypothesis is using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Based on the results of this study, it shows that (1) Sales Volume partially has a positive and significant effect on Profitability, shown by a tcount value of 3.145 a ttable value of 2.048 with a significance value of 0.004 0.05; (2) Selling Price partially does not have a positive and significant effect on Profitability, shown by a tcal value of 0.790 a ttable value of 2.036 with a significance value of 0.436 0.05; (3) Sales Volume and Selling Price simultaneously affect Profitability, shown by the value of Fcal 5.017 Ftable 3.25 with a significance of 0.013 0.05.

Abstract

One of the most important components in national and international economic stability is the foreign exchange market, or forex. As a major player in the financial sector, banks have a very important strategic role in maintaining exchange rate stability and controlling foreign exchange flows. Law No. 7/2011 on Currency, Law No. 23/1999 on Bank Indonesia, as last amended by Law No. 6/2009, and Bank Indonesia (BI) regulations are some of the laws relating to the foreign exchange market in Indonesia. Changes around the world have also made it more important for BI and OJK to work more closely together, BI must ensure that BI's macroprudential policies complement OJK's microprudential supervisory procedures as the institution responsible for monetary stability. As the country's central bank, BI's primary responsibility is to maintain the stability of the Rupiah exchange rate. BI often intervenes in the foreign exchange market to control the movement of the Rupiah exchange rate in order to carry out its functions. BI is also responsible for supervising and controlling banking activities in Indonesia to prevent financial disasters. Dealing with international factors that affect currency exchange rates and domestic economic stability is crucial. In general, the tightening of supervision of banks involved in foreign exchange transactions aims to promote sustainable national economic growth by encouraging a more transparent and responsible market in addition to maintaining exchange rate stability.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategic decision making process in startup companies using a descriptive qualitative approach. This approach was chosen to explore in depth the phenomenon of strategic decision making through comprehensive data collection. The research results show that internal factors, such as the characteristics of the founding team, greatly influence the quality of strategic decisions. Teams with diverse industry experience tend to make more comprehensive and successfully implemented decisions. From an external perspective, market dynamics, industry competition, as well as macroeconomic and regulatory conditions influence startup strategic decisions, especially in facing market uncertainty. This research suggests that systematic integration of customer feedback and effective implementation of innovation need to use a holistic approach to improve the quality of strategic decisions in startups, especially in the face of uncertainty and intense competition.

Abstract

This article focuses on implementing a systematic approach to improve the quality of educational management. In this context, key elements of educational management, such as planning, organizing, control, and management system strategies, play a crucial role. This research aims to create a comprehensive model of educational management, where planning, organizing, controlling, and management strategies are integrated. In this design, the research adopts a Library Research approach. Implementing a systematic approach in educational management involves interconnected processes of planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluation to enhance educational quality effectively and sustainably. By conducting needs analysis, setting clear goals, coordinating programs, and utilizing methods like the Balanced Scorecard, educational institutions can manage resources efficiently, monitor performance, and adapt relevant strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out what Islamic education really is and what its essence is. This study is a literature study. The results show that the purpose of Islamic education is to form individuals who believe, fear Allah Swt, and have noble character in a balanced manner. In Islamic education, the task of an educator is to educate and teach according to his knowledge. Overall, the person responsible for teaching is the educator. In essence, the task of Islamic education is to guide students from stage to stage of their lives until they reach the optimal point. Basically, the purpose of Islamic education itself is essentially identical to the purpose of Muslim or human life. Where, the purpose of human life is as a servant of Allah and also the Caliph. Meanwhile, the purpose of Islamic education is to achieve a balance of the growth of the human personality (students) as a whole and balanced which is done through soul training, rational human intellectual self, feelings and senses. It can be concluded that overall education in Islamic philosophy education lies in the realization of perfect submission to Allah both personally, community and all mankind.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services on smoking behavior of high school students in Palembang city. In this study researchers used descriptive qualitative research with data source sampling techniques in this study were snowball. The data collection techniques used in this study are interviews and documentation. The results of the implementation of group counseling showed a decrease in smoking frequency in some subjects, especially those with mild addiction. Based on the comparison of pre-test and post-test data, there was a significant increase in their understanding of the dangers of smoking, attitudes towards smoking behavior, and motivation to reduce smoking. This is evidenced by the average N-gain score recorded at 63.29%, indicating that group counseling with the role playing method is quite effective in reducing cigarette addiction. Overall, this study shows that a group counseling approach with role playing techniques can be effective to help adolescents reduce smoking habits and increase their awareness about the dangers of smoking.

Abstract

The times are developing so rapidly along with advances in technology, but genuine but fake certificates are still found in Jayapura City which are categorized as legally defective certificates. The aim of this research is to find out the factors that cause the issuance of genuine but fake certificates at the Jayapura City Land Office and to find out how to cancel genuine but fake certificates or legally defective certificates at the Jayapura City Land Office. The approach method used in this research is the normative juridical approach, namely an approach that refers to laws, library materials, written regulations or other secondary legal materials. The results of this research reveal that the factors that cause the issuance of genuine but fake certificates at the Jayapura City Land Office are 2 (two) main things, namely the first is from the applicant himself with dishonesty by making fake documents from blank signatures to the parties involved. adjacent to the land, in other words it can be said that the applicant had bad intentions from the start with the intention of deceiving the land office by entering false data, secondly from the Land Office itself because of administrative legal defects such as procedural errors, errors in the application of statutory regulations. -invitations, errors in the subject of rights, errors in types of rights, errors in area calculations, overlapping land rights, incorrect juridical data or physical data or other errors of an administrative nature. Meanwhile, the method for canceling a genuine but fake certificate or a legally defective certificate at the Jayapura City Land Office can be done by applying by the party concerned with a court decision which has permanent legal force.
