Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy formulation of the Prosperous Village Road Building Program (Bang Andra) in the development of village road infrastructure in Banten Province using William N. Dunn's theory. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, and observation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that the policy formulation of the Bang Andra Program goes through four stages, namely problem identification, agenda development, alternative development, and policy determination. This program was born as a response to the low quality of village roads that hamper community mobility and economic activities. This issue then became a priority for the local government and was stipulated through Banten Governor Regulation Number 17 of 2025. In 2025, the Bang Andra Program succeeded in building 62 village infrastructures consisting of 61 road sections and 1 bridge with a length of 67.87 kilometers with a budget of IDR 184 billion. This study concludes that the policy formulation of the Bang Andra Program reflects the local government's efforts to improve connectivity and equitable distribution of village development in Banten Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze drug abuse as a high-risk behavior through psychological and social perspectives and to examine effective behavioral intervention models in handling drug abuse cases. Drug abuse is considered a multidimensional social problem involving biological, psychological, social, economic, and environmental factors. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review and theoretical analysis based on psychological and social science perspectives. The findings indicate that drug abuse is strongly associated with low self-control, cognitive distortion, social pressure, and permissive environments. In neuropsychological perspectives, addictive substances affect the brain reward system, resulting in compulsive behavior and dependence. The study also reveals that effective behavioral interventions should be implemented comprehensively through preventive, promotive, curative, rehabilitative, and structural approaches. Furthermore, collaboration among families, communities, and government institutions is essential to create sustainable social control and rehabilitation systems. Therefore, integrated behavioral intervention is considered one of the most relevant approaches in addressing drug abuse problems systematically and sustainably

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including zakat management as one of the important instruments in the Islamic economic system. The digitalization of zakat through online platforms, mobile applications, and electronic payment systems provides convenience for Muslims in fulfilling their zakat obligations quickly, transparently, and efficiently. This study aims to analyze the practices of digital zakat management and examine their compatibility with the principles of contemporary fiqh muamalah. The research employs a qualitative method with a normative approach and library research. Data were analyzed using a conceptual approach to the principles of fiqh muamalah related to transactions, trustworthiness (amanah), and public benefit (maslahah). The findings indicate that the digitalization of zakat management is fundamentally consistent with the principles of fiqh muamalah, provided that it fulfills the requirements of transparency, accountability, contractual clarity, and the absence of elements of gharar (uncertainty) and fraud. Furthermore, the use of digital technology in zakat management offers substantial opportunities to increase public participation and optimize the distribution of zakat to eligible beneficiaries (mustahik) more effectively. Therefore, digital zakat management can serve as an important innovation in the development of Islamic philanthropy while remaining grounded in Sharia principles.

Abstract

Adolescent mental health has become an increasingly important global issue due to the rising prevalence of anxiety, depression, psychological stress, and various emotional disorders that affect adolescents’ social development, academic performance, and overall quality of life. This condition highlights the urgent need for effective, preventive, and accessible psychological interventions, one of which is mindfulness. This study aims to analyze the role of mindfulness in improving adolescent mental health and psychological well-being by identifying the effectiveness of interventions, factors influencing program success, and their contributions to adolescent mental health development. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a library research design in the form of a narrative literature review of relevant national and international scientific articles concerning mindfulness and adolescent mental health. The findings indicate that mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) generally reduce anxiety, depression, and stress while improving emotional regulation, attention, psychological well-being, and sense of meaning in life among adolescents. The effectiveness of mindfulness is influenced by intervention duration, implementation quality, participant characteristics, intervention settings, and individual engagement in mindfulness practices. However, several studies reported inconsistent findings, particularly regarding long-term effects and universal school-based implementation. This study concludes that mindfulness has significant potential as a preventive and promotive approach to supporting adolescent mental health and may serve as a foundation for developing more adaptive, holistic, and evidence-based psychological interventions.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of tutorial video media on the learning motivation of TKJ students at SMK YPKK Limbung Gowa in the Computer Systems subject. The type of research used is ex post facto research, which is included in quantitative non-experimental research. The results of the study indicate that the level of use of tutorial video media among Grade X TKJ students at SMK YPKK Limbung Gowa is in the moderate/fairly high category. This is shown by the average score of 48.67, as well as the categorization results where the majority of students (80%) are in the moderate category. This indicates that tutorial video media has been used quite effectively in the learning process. In addition, the level of students’ learning motivation in the Computer Systems subject is in the high category, with an average score of 51.13. However, the distribution shows that most students (53.3%) are in the moderate category, so it can be concluded that students’ learning motivation is generally good but not yet optimally distributed. The study also found that there is a positive and significant effect between the use of tutorial video media and students’ learning motivation. This is proven by the results of the t-test with a significance value of 0.001 0.05 and a t-count value of 3.927. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination test results show that tutorial video media contributes 32.2% to students’ learning motivation, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study.

Abstract

This study integrates descriptive qualitative research and systematic literature review approaches to analyze the use of instructional videos in enhancing Arabic language comprehension. The qualitative study involved 12 fourth-semester students from the Arabic Language Education Program at UIN Raden Intan Lampung over a 12-week period, employing participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis for data collection. Meanwhile, the systematic literature review analyzed five empirical studies on the effectiveness of video media in Arabic language learning published from 2020-2024. Results demonstrate that instructional video use significantly improves students' Arabic language comprehension across three dimensions: (1) vocabulary and listening skills (istima'), (2) contextual-cultural understanding, and (3) learning motivation and self-regulated learning. These improvements occur through mechanisms of cognitive load reduction, provision of comprehensible input, and increased intrinsic motivation. Findings reveal three key factors influencing video effectiveness: (a) instructional design quality (duration, narration speed, open captioning, and interactive elements), (b) pedagogical support strategies by instructors, and (c) technological infrastructure readiness. Students with lower initial proficiency benefit most from video learning, though they encounter certain technical and linguistic barriers. This study recommends integrating video as a core learning component, developing videos based on specific needs, and providing digital literacy training for educators.

Abstract

Learning planning is an important component in the implementation of early childhood education (ECE). One form of learning planning used by ECE teachers is the Daily Learning Implementation Plan (RPPH). However, in practice many teachers still experience difficulties in preparing RPPH systematically and in accordance with the applicable curriculum. This study aims to identify the challenges faced by early childhood teachers in preparing RPPH and to find solutions or strategies that can improve the quality of its preparation. This study uses a literature review (library research) method by examining various sources such as books, scientific journals, and research articles relevant to the research topic. The article search was conducted through Google Scholar using keywords related to RPPH in early childhood education. From the screening results, six relevant articles were selected for further analysis. The results show that there are still several problems in preparing RPPH, such as low teacher competence in designing learning plans, lack of understanding of RPPH components, and the suboptimal implementation of innovative learning approaches such as STEAM. In addition, curriculum changes require teachers and prospective teachers to have better abilities in preparing RPPH. Therefore, continuous training, workshops, and academic supervision are needed to improve teachers’ competence in developing quality learning plans.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of micro teaching practice among students of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program through an observational activity conducted by four sixth-semester students at STAI Ibnu Rusyd Kotabumi in the 2026/2027 academic year. As observers, we directly monitored the micro teaching practice carried out by fellow students as part of efforts to develop the teaching competencies of prospective PAI teachers. The observation was conducted using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach to document and analyze the development of teaching competencies, encompassing mastery of subject matter, pedagogical skills, and effective communication. Data were collected through structured observation and analysis of written reflection documents, then analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method. The results of the observation indicate meaningful development in the teaching competencies of students engaged in micro teaching practice. The three main dimensions observed were mastery of subject matter, pedagogical skills, and effective communication. This study has strategic implications for the development of micro teaching practice programs at STAI Ibnu Rusyd Kotabumi as part of the preparation of competent and professional prospective PAI teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of smooth capitalism dimensions on consumer culture through lifestyle trends among the middle class in Marbau Subdistrict. The dimensions of smooth capitalism examined in this study include digital platform penetration, algorithmic personalization, influencer marketing, and transaction convenience. This research employed an explanatory quantitative approach using a survey method involving 385 middle-class respondents who actively use digital platforms. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4. The findings show that digital platform penetration, algorithmic personalization, influencer marketing, and transaction convenience have a positive and significant effect on lifestyle trends. Lifestyle trends also have a positive and significant effect on consumer culture (? = 0.200; t = 3.920; p = 0.000) and are proven to mediate the effect of all smooth capitalism dimensions on consumer culture. The R-square values indicate that the model has strong explanatory power, namely 0.704 for lifestyle trends and 0.756 for consumer culture. These findings affirm that digital consumption among the middle class in Marbau is not merely an economic activity, but also a social practice related to identity, status, taste, and social recognition.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of picture book media and to determine the improvement in reading comprehension skills of second-grade students at SDN 003 Loa Janan Ilir through the use of picture books in Indonesian language learning. This research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, implemented in two cycles. The research subjects consisted of 25 second-grade students at SDN 003 Loa Janan Ilir for the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection techniques included reading comprehension tests, classroom observation of teacher and student activities, and semi-structured interviews with the class teacher. Results demonstrated significant improvement in students' reading comprehension. In the pre-cycle phase, the class average was only 54.6 with a classical mastery rate of 20.0%. After Cycle I, which employed a read-aloud strategy using the story "The Ant and the Grasshopper," the average increased to 66.6 with a mastery rate of 44.0%. In Cycle II, which applied picture walk and think-pair-share strategies using the story "The Arrogant Rabbit and the Persistent Turtle," the class average reached 79.1 with a classical mastery rate of 92.0% (23 out of 25 students). Teacher activity reached 98% and student activity reached 90%, both in the "Very Good" category. This study concludes that the use of picture book media integrated with appropriate learning strategies is proven effective in improving reading comprehension skills of second-grade elementary school students.
