Abstract

Student learning outcomes in Mathematics class are still low. The average grade for class V is still below the ideal completeness standard of 75% set by SDN 06 Parit Lintang, Salatiga District, Sambas Regency. This is because when teaching, the teacher only gives material while students pay attention, take notes, and do practice questions. Based on the problems raised, the purpose of this study is to change fractions to percents and vice versa through a multilevel simulation method. This exploration is a homeroom research activity, with a total of 23 students consisting of 12 female students and 11 male students. The inspection strategy carried out includes compiling, carrying out activities, paying attention and contemplating cycles. Learning outcomes on the main pattern of delegating subject authority are not good. From the ideal culmination score of 75%, the new old style fulfillment score reaches 44%. Cycle II reached 78%. Thus, the use of the staggered reproduction model can improve the understanding of numerical ideas in 5th grade elementary school.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Waiselang are one of the results of unattractive learning methods. This is caused by the lack of student involvement in the learning process in class, due to the dominant role of educators in the learning process. Apart from these factors, educators still use conventional learning models, so that the achievement of student learning outcomes is low. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to apply a problem-based learning that is oriented towards solving concrete problems so that student learning outcomes increase. The study used descriptive analysis to determine students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle there were no students who passed with an average student score of 65 in the sufficient category. In cycle I, student completeness reached 80.95% and the average student score was at a very good level. Meanwhile, in cycle II, student learning completeness increased significantly to 85.71% with an average student score at a very good level. With a classical completeness score of 85.71%, 85% of classical learning completeness is fulfilled so that the research is not continued in the next cycle. The application of Problem based learning can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The phenomena caused by progress and modernization are very diverse, including the rise of behavior and attitudes that appear in various layers of society that are far from the values of Islamic teachings. Various cases milling about before our eyes and often heard in our ears, have occurred among teenagers and even by adults. Disrespectful behavior, immorality, arrogance, arrogance, discrimination, bullying, violent behavior, extremism and so on can be seen. Even then the perpetrators are very diverse and are carried out by various groups, both students, workers, the unemployed, the lower, middle and elite class or even those who are educated and have a position. This is a phenomenon that we often see and find as a result of the progress and modernization of today's digital age. With this fact, education in Indonesia is very urgent to get more serious attention, where character building is so important for humans, especially for students in madrasas/schools, Islamic boarding schools and even Islamic education in the community. Therefore, every stakeholder and policy maker must be able to work hard together in responding and addressing such conditions. One of the efforts is how to find an educational formula that is oriented toward the realization of human beings who have religious-humanistic characters or have good social religiosity, especially the importance of transforming the concept of Islamic education towards the formation of Islamic and humane characters. Thus, efforts to shape religious-humanistic human characters through the transformation of Islamic education are very urgent to implement. Furthermore, what are the steps that must be taken by an educator in the process of Islamic Education in order to produce output of students with good character and social religiosity? This research method uses literature research. Problems are discussed through a literature study. Religious and humanistic character values possessed by students are believed to be able to lead to the educational process towards a balanced relationship between humans and Allah (hablun min Allah) and also the relationship between humans and each other (hablun min al-nas).
