Abstract

This study explores the impact of information system facilities on end-user satisfaction in the retail sector in Bandung. The researchers adopted a survey approach and collected data from 93 employees working in the retail sector—the research instrument was distributed through a Google Form. The study's prediction model used structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS), and the results of validity and reliability tests of the research constructs met the criteria for validity and reliability.The prediction results reveal that information system facilities significantly influence the perceived ease of use and usefulness. However, they have a different impact on end-user satisfaction. The study's implications indicate that the ease of use of the information system plays a crucial role. When the system is easy to use, with an intuitive user interface and clear operational procedures, employees will be satisfied with operating the system. However, satisfaction is limited to ease of use and is not directly linked to the perceived benefits of employees.

Abstract

Introducing an efficient land and building tax computation system can have favorable outcomes for the rural community and its inhabitants. The management and authenticity of data about the distribution of Property Tax Notification Letters (SPPT) have historically posed issues within the tax management process. The e-PBB program for calculating land and building taxes in the Tribaktimulya Village case study is implemented as a web-based platform. The application utilizes quantitative data collection methods, including observation, interviews, and literature reading. The system is developed with the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodology, which encompasses the stages of analysis, design, and system implementation centered around objects. The design of this system is anticipated to enhance the ability of village authorities to input and compute land and building taxes that are either outstanding or paid. Automating the calculation process will enhance efficiency while simplifying tax report generation will contribute to a more effective and streamlined operational workflow.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of achievement motivation and the mediating role of preventive discipline on task performance. The research method employed a quantitative approach with path analysis using the Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The respondents consisted of 31 employees working in a government department in Bandung. The calculation results reveal the mediating role of preventive discipline on task performance, indicating that employees with high achievement motivation, driven by preventive discipline, can enhance task performance. To improve task performance, organizations must establish and reinforce preventive measures in the workplace while actively promoting and supporting employee achievement motivation. This condition can be achieved through goal-setting, implementing recognition programs, and providing opportunities for personal and professional growth. By establishing preventive measures, organizations can create a conducive environment that encourages employees to adhere to guidelines and procedures, preventing potential issues that may hinder task performance. Additionally, actively fostering employees' achievement motivation through goal-setting initiatives and recognition programs can enhance their drive to excel in their tasks. Providing opportunities for personal and professional growth further supports employees' continuous improvement and development. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of preventive discipline as a mediating factor in the relationship between achievement motivation and task performance. Organizations can enhance task performance by establishing preventive measures, promoting achievement motivation, and supporting employees' personal and professional growth.

Abstract

This study introduces a web-based application that has been developed to offer price estimation services and facilitate data input within pawnshop establishments. The primary objective of this program is to optimize the effectiveness of collateral evaluation procedures and streamline data entry for pawnshop personnel. The application's development methodology integrates web technology and advanced data management systems to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of price evaluation. The application's users will be able to access it via the web-based platform, where they may input pertinent collateral information. Subsequently, they will receive prompt and precise price estimates. The experimental findings suggest that this application can enhance productivity and mitigate the risk of human errors in the pricing calculation procedure. In addition, the web interface's user-friendly design enhances the application's ease of adoption among pawnshop officers. This application is anticipated to streamline customer care procedures and improve overall customer satisfaction within the pawnshop establishment.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of variables related to the accounts receivable accounting information system and accounts receivable internal control on a telecommunications company located in Bandung. Based on the obtained calculation results, it has been determined that the accounting information system for accounts receivable can be classified as moderately satisfactory. At the same time, the internal control measures for accounts receivable can also be classified as moderately satisfactory. The research findings indicate a significant correlation of 0.840 between variables X and Y, suggesting a strong relationship between the accounts receivable accounting information system and accounts receivable internal control. According to the analysis conducted using simple linear regression, it has been shown that the relationship between the dependent variable Y and the independent variable X, representing accounts receivable in the accounting information system, can be expressed as Y = 7.180 + 0.729X. This condition implies that for each unit rise in the accounts receivable; there is an associated increase of 0.729 units in the dependent variable. The coefficient analysis reveals that the accounts receivable accounting information system significantly contributes to the internal control of accounts receivable, accounting for 70.6% of the overall influence. The remaining 29.4% can be attributed to various other factors.

Abstract

The health service center in Bandung Regency is a place for taking medicine for sick residents. The pharmacy is responsible for procuring, ordering, receiving, storing, distributing, recording, and reporting medicine supplies. The series of drug data processing activities for health services starts from ordering drugs, collecting drug data, dispensing drugs, and recording and reporting. To make it easier to record transactions and report drug supplies, a particular application based on PHP programming and a MySQL database was created, which is expected to assist in recording drug purchase and sale transactions, as well as creating reports so that it can further increase the effectiveness of work at pharmacies in providing services, towards citizens.

Abstract

Collaboration documents are necessary for various enterprises, diverse economic sectors, and academic institutions. Cooperation documents are essential in facilitating the collaboration between a company and its partners, making effective administration of these documents crucial. Companies benefit from collaboration with other companies since it allows them to mutually assist and support one another in achieving shared objectives, enhancing work efficiency and production. Companies and partners can expand their size by leveraging industrial connections, entering new markets, establishing new facilities, or introducing supplementary products. The management of collaboration document data collecting in the Digital Business and Technology division of an Indonesian company operating in information and communication technology (ICT) services and telecommunications networks is only partially automated. Computers are restricted to archiving records, resulting in frequently disorganized, damaged, or misplaced documents. This condition hinders employees' ability to locate the necessary papers for review, leading to delays in distributing documents to relevant parties and impeding the productivity and efficiency of the collaborative document management process. Hence, it is imperative to construct a proficient system that can facilitate the collaborative document management procedure, encompassing data administration, input, and storage. This study develops an information system that allows internal stakeholders to access documents as data housed in a web-based application conveniently. The collaborative document management information system uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, specifically employing the waterfall model as the system development approach. The author employs the Unified Modeling Language (UML) model to analyze the system by generating the necessary diagrams, a programming language that utilizes PHP and MySQL databases. The system was tested using the white box method.

Abstract

The production method has prioritized guaranteeing excellent manufacturing quality in response to the increasing competitiveness in the clothing industry. Utilizing a fabric roll meter measuring instrument dramatically enhances the overall quality of the product by guaranteeing precise measurements. Roll meter fabric measuring equipment in the garment industry evaluates product accuracy based on customer specifications, ensuring exceptional quality. Effective regulation is essential for the management and upkeep of cloth roll meter measuring instruments. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a system that can evaluate the level of urgency for calibrating various equipment and identify those that need recalibration despite having already been calibrated. This project created a web-based system for scheduling the calibration of fabric roll meters. The system was designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL for database management. Use cases delineate how the user interacts with the system, whereas an activity diagram represents the sequence of user activities. Furthermore, a sequence diagram illustrates the user's participation in chronological order. The information system implements maintenance schedules, oversees the calibration of fabric roll meter measuring instruments, stores calibration certificates, and effectively handles calibration data to guarantee precision and efficiency.

Abstract

Creating instructional software for early childhood education in Indonesia is currently highly prominent. It is being increasingly pursued by many parties, including educational institutions, to enhance the teaching and learning experience. Most children in today's era prefer playing with smartphones over reading educational books, resulting in as many as 85% of 15 children showing reduced enthusiasm or unhappiness towards home-based learning. Parents have made significant efforts to support their children's studies. The research methodology employed in this study is a qualitative approach, explicitly utilizing descriptive analysis. Employing methodologies for gathering data. Literary Analysis  Conducting a comprehensive search for references by gathering material from libraries, research articles, and internet sources, including interviews. Interrogative data analysis strategies involve directly posing questions to informants. Perception: The author researches and reviews to collect data to determine the necessary components for the application to be developed. They are developing an educational application for Android that utilizes a modular App Inventor and employs a block-based programming language. The application was designed utilizing the prototyping process. The acquired findings indicate a percentage value of 83.42%. Based on the user acceptability testing responses, this application excels in usability and benefits. The creation of this educational application has the potential to enhance the efficacy and ingenuity of the early childhood learning process by integrating interactive elements, hence fostering increased engagement and nurturing children's creativity. In order to integrate traditional methods with technology, this application incorporates numerous auditory components and integrates educational elements with entertainment, such as games and animations. This condition ensures that children remain engaged and interested during learning, fostering early childhood enthusiasm and active participation in educational activities.

Abstract

Technology is becoming progressively sophisticated and expediting all processes and facets across several domains, mainly using precise technology. Within a company, digitalization is crucial in facilitating many processes like recapping and reporting. Digitalization refers to the transformation of physical commodities into a digital format. On the other hand, semi-computerization has yet to fully optimize the current computerized system fully, making it inefficient and time-consuming. There is a significant demand for generating data reports on borrowed and returned things. However, there are frequent challenges in accurately determining the availability of these products, as the process is currently done manually using a web-based application. The research methodologies include survey, Research & Development, and Field Study. The RUP (Rational Unified Process) system development process utilizes UML (Unified et al.) modeling techniques, including Use Cases, Use Case Scenarios, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Class Diagrams. The findings derived from this conclusive project application and report are as follows: The synchronization of data between physical and reporting may be easily managed due to the inclusion of a printing feature in this application tailored to the specific needs of borrowers and returners.
