Abstract

One component that cannot be separated in the learning process is teaching materials which can be in the form of modules. The availability of teaching materials can be one of the supports for the successful implementation of the learning process. Teaching materials contain an arrangement of a set of materials to create an environment/atmosphere that allows students to learn. Thus, one of the objectives of providing teaching materials is to facilitate the student learning process. The relationship between lecturers, students, and learning materials. Thus, one of the objectives of providing teaching materials is to facilitate the student learning process. The relationship between lecturers, students, and teaching materials is dynamic and complex. Module is a type of teaching material that is designed to be studied independently by students and is designed systematically and attractively to facilitate the learning process. Based on initial observations made in the field, especially in the practicum learning activities of the electrical engineering study program at PGRI Banyuwangi University, there is a lack of practicum modules so that practicum activities are less measurable in learning outcomes. This needs to be developed with practicum modules especially in digital engineering courses in order to facilitate digital engineering practicum activities for electrical engineering students at PGRI Banyuwangi University. In this study using the R & D research method, from the results of research with a student population of 15 from the Electrical Engineering Study Program at PGRI Banyuwangi University, the average learning result was 87.5, and the validation results were 89% in the very valid category, and the student response results showed 88% in the very category Good

Abstract

The process of flattening nutmeg is one of the steps that must be carried out before it becomes a dish that can be enjoyed or marketed. The dimensions of the fruit and the relatively unequal surface structure between each other can hinder the flattening process if done in a conventional way. The addition of a profile to increase the surface roughness on the rollers of the flattening machine will affect the performance of the flattening process using a contra-rotary roll type flatter machine. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding a surface profile to increase roller roughness on the flattening performance of nutmeg. The research was conducted by experiment where the profile was made with a pattern of transverse grooves on the rollers using variations in the number of grooves including 4; 6; and 8. Machine performance analysis includes the duration of the flattening process and the physical characteristics of the fruit being processed. The results showed that the maximum weight difference occurred in the 6 groove roller variation of 4.8 g with the highest thickness difference in the 6 groove variation of 3.35 mm. The fastest duration is shown in groove 8 variation of 1.98 sec. The lowest use of electric power is found in the variation of the 8 roller groove of 35.64 W.

Abstract

Trafo step down merupakan penurun tegangan 220 VAC sampai 12VAC - 32VAC.

Abstract

This paper discusses two types of transformers 3 A and 5 A with the addition of a flyback converter circuit. The transformer 3 A is only able to lower the DC output voltage and cannot produce an AC output voltage. So that the addition of a flyback converter circuit is proposed to change the AC output voltage and increase the voltage based on the desired load. The results of the 3 A transformer test obtained an increased output voltage from 12.21 Vdc to 18.04 Vdc with a constant time period of 1 minute. While testing the 5 A transformer shows that the increase in output voltage is obtained by adding a flyback converter circuit. The result of the output voltage with the addition of a flyback converter circuit reaches 221 Vac to 252.2 Vac. The increase in output voltage is directly proportional to a constant time period of one minute.

Abstract

The Wheatstone bridge circuit is one configuration resistor circuit that serves to measure changes in resistance (resistance) is very small, and has been widely used in circuits sensors. This circuit is arranged like a rhombus, at least four resistors (R1, R2, R3, R4), one of which is a resistor not fixed (R3) which usually uses a variable resistor. Then, one of them is a resistor whose resistance value is sought (R4). This study aims to explore a series of bridges Wheatstone with three scenarios. First, the search for one of the the correct value of the resistor (R4) when the state is balanced, or when the current is flow at point AB is equal to Zero (IAB = 0 A). Second, measure Wheatstone bridge voltage (VAB) with varying resistor values. Third, look for one of the resistor values (R4), the replacement resistance value of all resistance (REq) at the state of balance, and the total current flows (ITotal) in the Wheatstone bridge circuit when VAB = 0 Volts. The analysis utilizes two offline simulators, namely Circuit Wizard v.1.15 and Proteus v.8.5. Then the simulation results all three are compared with theoretical calculations. Simulation results of The three simulators prove that the current and voltage values on the Wheatstone circuit is in accordance with theoretical calculations, where IAB = 0 A and VAB = 0 V if the state is balanced. In no state equilibrium, then there will be a current flowing from point A to point B so there is a potential difference, where the value of this potential difference is the same with VA – VB. This article also examines the performance and trade-offs of the three simulators when experimenting with circuits Wheatstone bridge based on hands-on experience from the researcher's point of view
