Abstract

The implementation of the Zachman Framework in designing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system/architecture at Bank Central Asia (BCA), can help BCA in mapping business and technology needs, CRM is intended to map the composition of the organization as a whole and describe it as an interlocking corporate information system. as well as balancing business and IT perspectives in developing an effective and efficient CRM system. Based on the 3x5 matrix of the Zachman Framework, namely What, When, Where, Who, Why, How, it is explained how each perspective can be used in designing CRM systems. By mapping business and technology requirements in a structured manner, BCA can achieve the desired business objectives and improve the quality of service to customers through the implementation of an appropriate CRM system, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Therefore, the application of the Zachman Framework can be an appropriate alternative for designing CRM systems at Bank Central Asia.

Abstract

Jewelry Company is a company that produces jewelry by providing the best quality to its consumers. In its development, the jewelry company has a factory that produces various types of jewelry including gold, silver, ruby, gems, topaz and sapphire. However, IS/IT planning within the company is still not maximizing the use of IS/IT that should be implemented within a company. Therefore, this company needs a more strategic planning to support business goals that are in line with business strategy and IS/IT strategy. Enterprise Architecture Planning was chosen as a guide and the Zachman Framework as a design method which consists of six lines, namely scope, enterprise model, system model, technology constrained model, retailed representations, and functioning enterprise, as well as six columns consisting of what, how, where, who, when, and why. The results of this research are a proposed architectural design that is recommended to companies, which is expected to fully support ongoing business activities so that they are more optimal and effective.

Abstract

Telecommunications company PT. Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (INTI) has several main business lines, such as manufacturing and assembly, management services, digital services, and system integrators. The system integrator requires assistance from all business divisions to support its business activities, one of which is to assist the information technology function, which is responsible for information technology services. However, there are several obstacles that arise in the implementation of the information technology function, including data exchange that has not used the system optimally; lack of manpower; business process flow that is still less effective; and one business process that is still less effective and has not been supported by existing applications. The existing applications are not integrated. Thus, the right solution and in accordance with the needs must be generated through an enterprise architecture that can integrate information technology strategy with business strategy. TOGAF ADM is used to design enterprise architecture, which includes preliminary, architecture, and implementation phases.

Abstract

The gaming industry has witnessed rapid growth over the past few decades. Games are no longer perceived solely as entertainment but have evolved into a significant revenue-generating industry. One popular game, Hayday, offers an engaging experience centered on farming and business. To enhance business process management within the game, the concept of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is highly relevant. This paper explores the implementation of enterprise architecture based on the Zachman Framework within the context of Hayday. The Zachman Framework serves as a structured methodology to design and manage enterprise architecture effectively. By leveraging the framework, organizations can map various perspectives into a comprehensive 6x6 matrix, enabling a deeper understanding of their enterprise architecture. This study adopts a case study approach using qualitative methods. The findings and discussion elaborate on the implementation of the Zachman Framework in the Hayday game application across six key perspectives: data, process, location, people, time, and motivation. This implementation aims to optimize business process management in the game and to lay the groundwork for the development of suitable ERP software.
